Argh hey guys. I am very excited... Green Day is going to have three albums coming out, starting in September. I haven't been around here or my other sites lately because I've been overwhelmed with work, the tourist season arriving and all. I mean I am working an average of about 25 or so hours a week but that is a lot for me... fbedu. And I have serious work in my room, and am trying to do more knitting and crafting...

I'm all right. I'm at a bit of a standstill with my room... plateau'ed with it. I have most everything boxed up (no, I'm not moving, just was in serious, serious need of an organizational overhaul) but there are still a few small things and I'm having trouble progressing...
But in other news, Green Day came out with a really great single from their first upcoming album (the first of three), ¡Uno!, a song called "Oh Love". It's very sexy. |

It isn't my favorite of theirs, because... I can't totally really relate with it. But it is definitely fascinating, and different for them. I can't wait for the albums to drop...
In the meantime, though. I crochet granny squares. Even as I am making something out of them I don't know what they are going to become... |
My favorite song of theres is without a doubt Boulevard of Broken Dreams, followed by 21 Guns.

Those are the two most popular from the past decade, I'd guess. Neither is my favorite, though. Well, I don't know what is my favorite Green Day song - I don't have just one - but the ones I like the best tend to be the non-singles. But I love Billie Joe's lyrics... Love love love. Can be about specific things, and yet be very approachable and general at the same time... Saying more with fewer words... etc.

I'm a huge Who fan. And Bad Wolf was a big part of the first two of the NuWho Doctors.
His companion temporarily gained infinite power, and during that time rewrote time-space to push the doctor and past her to that outcome. Afterwords, she had her memory of the event erased. I've been thinking about updating it nao that I'm all the way to the 11th Doctor instead of the 9th. But the reason that Boulevard of Broken Dreams is my favorite of their songs is that It sorta reflects my life up to this point. I've always been alone, different from everyone around me. Partially because I grew up in a house of boys, and partially because I'm an empath. |
I thought so, but I didn't want to assume... because sometimes I think one thing, and then i t is something else XD. But I love Doctor Who, the new ones... went throigh all of them on Netflix, but now I've started watching Torchwood, in fact I am watching it right now...

Torchwood is weird. I watched the first episode with my little borther, he's 14, then we started the second... And it's about a succubus alien thing... so I turned it off, and haven't had time when I wasn't jobhunting/babysitting to watch it again.

Yes it is a little less family-friendly than Who, definitely. I am on the first season but I started because of the one that is on demand from Starz at the moment... so I am sort of at two different points in the show XD.
Boulevard is great, and I think everyone has felt that way to some extent. Musically it is great. But honestly, I just wish people heard the rest. Imagine all people think when they hear Doctor Who is a lonnnnnng scarf xP. But it is nothing; they're all great and it is good to see someone appreciate it. |
At least those people are automatically thinking of one of the best Doctors.

Not about the Doctor, just about the scarf! :P. Missing out on the heart and soul of it. Oh well, now I am sounding like I am knocking something that I'm not, or don't mean to do...
What do you think the next companion will be? Know for sure that in the coming season Rory and Amy will see the Doctor for, presumably, the last time. |

I wish, but I don't think they've taken the show to that level just yet. Then again, at the rate they're going the next Doctor may be a teenager! Haha. There are a lot of great British women that could totally be the Doctor... and I'm sure many more I've never heard of.
