Suzerain of Sheol 06-06-2011 10:57 PM

Hey, I'm working on it! :p

I've gotten a surprising amount done today, actually. Been fiddling with it off and on all day. We'll see about getting it out before then. ;)

*crosses fingers that nothing else comes up that needs a ton of work to fix*

Serra Britt 06-06-2011 10:58 PM

I shouldn't be sitting here reading manga and posting on Trisphee... I should be packing for my upcoming move ><

I'm a lazy kitty...

Suzerain of Sheol 06-06-2011 11:30 PM

Oh, when are you moving, Serra?

CupcakeDolly 06-06-2011 11:34 PM

*Peeks in thread*

Stuff was scary and confusing the last time I looked in here... And Suzerain keeps morphing. @_@

Suzerain, I'm sorry! I totally thought your avi was a girl before! D=

Suzerain of Sheol 06-06-2011 11:40 PM

It was. :p

Sorry for being scary and confusing before, Dolly. ;)

CupcakeDolly 06-07-2011 12:14 AM

...It's okay... Except that I'm still scared and confused...

Dx

Suzerain of Sheol 06-07-2011 12:20 AM

Truly? Of what? :p

CupcakeDolly 06-07-2011 12:55 AM

Just kidding. x3 I just couldn't find a good spot to jump into the conversation before. And I knew those were boobs! I apologize for nothing!!

Suzerain of Sheol 06-07-2011 01:04 AM

You must have an eye for it. :p On some of my avatars, I've switched back and forth between male and female and not been able to notice a difference.

CupcakeDolly 06-07-2011 01:07 AM

Sometimes I just assume when avi's have long hair and lots of clothing, and other times I stare real hard at the waist and boobs trying to tell the difference.;; I started staring at yours when you mentioned being male.

Suzerain of Sheol 06-07-2011 01:12 AM

Ah, okay.

It seems like a lot of the items on here are either meant for females or the female version look better, so I figured I might as well go with the flow.

And, you know, I prefer my angels to lack defining sex characteristics, which the male base does entirely, so I changed it up with this one. :p

Serra Britt 06-07-2011 10:59 AM

@Cupcake, why were you wondering when to jump in here? I know *I* always enjoy having you around, I bet Suzerain doesn't mind either.

@Suzerain, probably going to be in about 2 weeks. I'll be close to a friend so I'll probably still have net access with the transition but I'm not looking forward to packing up all this stuff xD

Suzerain of Sheol 06-07-2011 12:12 PM

Well, I'm not one to turn away any company in my threads (for the aurumz!) but, seriously, Dolly you're more than welcome to hang around.

And, good luck with your move, Serra. I hope it goes well.

Serra Britt 06-07-2011 02:31 PM

We're not moving far, just 10 miles or so to the next town over where I'll be neghbors with the friend I originally moved out here to be near, as well as it being cheaper since it's not the central town around here. (150 population on the city limits sign lol) I just have...a lot of stuff. I am very much a packrat and a huge game/amine/manga collector so I have a lot of it to put back into bins and boxes >> The only really hard thing to move is my king-size bed, which feels really silly to have since I don't technichally have anyone to share it with anymore. But it's alright I'll get it done eventually xD

Suzerain of Sheol 06-07-2011 02:36 PM

Mm, I was like that until a month or so ago. I ended up repainting and carpeting my room and in the process threw out 15 years or so worth of accumulated junk. It's much more orderly in here now.

Serra Britt 06-07-2011 02:40 PM

When I first moved out here last year I did that too. I STILL have a ton of stuff and I left quite a lot behind >> But I am a little more organized, or at least I like to believe so.

Suzerain of Sheol 06-07-2011 03:03 PM

I did keep a lot of my stuff, but I have it in bins stacked to the ceiling in my closet. 'cause, you know, I just like the idea of having it, even if I likely won't ever open said bins again. :p

And I really need to get to work, I haven't made any progress on my game all day.

Quiet Man Cometh 06-07-2011 07:27 PM

I live! Mostly. Still subsisting off of chicken broth and freezies but I think my headache is down to just a caffiene headache and not dehydration nastiness.

I had a funny dream about RPGs. stuff gets kinda wierd when I'm sick.

Suzerain of Sheol 06-07-2011 07:35 PM

Glad you're feeling better from yesterday.

And you just reminded me, I actually had a dream about Trisphee last night. Talk about weird.

*may spend way too much time on this site*

Espy 06-07-2011 08:26 PM

Bahaha. I was daydreaming about playing Ragnarok Online with my friends a couple nights ago, fell asleep, and had a dream that picked up right after the daydream.

Quiet Man Cometh 06-07-2011 08:47 PM

Heh. Ragnarok online a good game? One of my friends was trying to get me to play since it's free and therefore cheapter than WoW :). Part of it was also likely due to the fact that being a Horde person msyelf, we wouldn't have been on either others side if I actually did get into WoW. He's an Alliance man.

Suzerain of Sheol 06-07-2011 09:20 PM

Suzerain's thread is running away from him... *watches thread run away. Shrugs*

I'll just lean against the wall here and count to a million. Don't mind me.

One, two, three, four....

Quiet Man Cometh 06-07-2011 09:44 PM

Slipperly little thread isn't it?

Suzerain of Sheol 06-07-2011 09:45 PM

Three-hundred ninety-four, three-hundred ninety-five, three-hundred ninety-six...

Yep. I don't mind, though. I don't have much to talk about anyway tonight.

Quiet Man Cometh 06-07-2011 10:15 PM

You know there's a thread already doing that in the forum games. ;)

Suzerain of Sheol 06-07-2011 10:17 PM

I'm a misanthrope! I play alone. :p

Two-thousand, four-hundred and eight, two-thousand, four-hundred and nine....

CupcakeDolly 06-07-2011 10:37 PM

*pokes thread and watches it slip* o.o

Everyone's moving, sheesh. I'm trying to get my boyfriend to throw out some of his stuff - the second bedroom of our apartment has turned into his storage closet. -_-;; I do the "Hoarders" thing of holding up something and asking him if he needs it or not, and he'll stare at it for a full five minutes trying to make a decision.

Suzerain of Sheol 06-07-2011 10:44 PM

I was like that when I threw out my old NES track pad and flight sim. controllers last month.

...might have taken ten minutes (and a trip to Ebay!) to consider. :|

Quiet Man Cometh 06-07-2011 10:54 PM

We have a semi-hoarders situation going on here. Though part of it's existance is due to being lazy or busy with other things. Like internet sites.

CupcakeDolly 06-07-2011 11:08 PM

Oh, Quiet, don't blame the internet. =P

And hell yeah, old school NES stuff is in high demand nowadays.

Quiet Man Cometh 06-07-2011 11:21 PM

Contemplating getting rid of my game boy pocket and my old pokemon games. Not sure though, since it's hardly a problem to store. Need to find my charger though. It's awol in the swath somewhere.

Suzerain of Sheol 06-07-2011 11:31 PM

Actually, those two special controllers I had weren't going for more than thirty dollars or so on Ebay, new.

Mine were in rather poor condition, especially the boxes. I was kind of surprised they weren't worth more, though.

Serra Britt 06-08-2011 01:08 AM

Quiet~ -wait a moment then pounces on her- Nice to see you again, I missed you ^^

Ragnarok Online is a very simplistic game, one of the first MMOs if I remember right. But it's cute and has a lot of variety, and there are a lot of free servers for it too. I prefer Trickster myself, they have a lot of similarities but there's not as many servers for that one. I haven't actually played WoW so I can't comment on if it's better or worse :P

@Suzerain, I cannot express how much I started laughing when you started counting to yourself. I was afraid I was going to laugh myself to death I couldn't breathe xD I have no idea why I found this so funny but I did. And now I want to hug you but I have a sense you won't appreciate that as much as some others xD

@Cupcake, NES has moved right into the "collector" phase by now. Kind of makes me want to sell a few of my NES games. (I found them while reorganizing some stuff for my move). Actually I should sell a lot of my old stuff, unless I somehow find a job here.

Quiet Man Cometh 06-08-2011 02:31 AM

I've steadfastly avoided WoW, mostly because it was really popular when I was in college and University and my grades quite possibly depended on it. Everyone at the game store I used to go to DnD nights with played, and it wasn't unusually to hear the chat going back and forth while the game was being set up.

The most I've done online in terms of multiplayer games outside of facebook was a couple Halo games but the people playing were of the "slay all noobs" variety which pretty much soured the whole thing. My friend and I figured out pretty fast they they were playing together in what was supposed to be an "every man for himself" game so we managed not do get too pulverized. Well, I managed not to, he could hold his own well enough.

Suzerain of Sheol 06-08-2011 10:57 AM

Serra, you just made me go on eBay and look up prices on all my NES and SNES games. I could probably make $1,000.00 selling them if I wanted to. My complete set of Dragon Warrior 1 through 4 seems to be worth a fair bit.

Then there's my Tactics Ogre PS1 disc, which is worth 70+ dollars used and without a manual, which is how I have it. And the PSP version is so flat-out superior I'll never use it again...

This would involve work, though, selling all these...

They're just sitting in boxes, though. I don't even have the systems to play them on, anymore, and if I ever do feel the overpowering need to do so in the future... well, half of them have been remade, and for the other half, there's always emulators.

*thinks it over*

CupcakeDolly 06-08-2011 04:44 PM

Yup, it's work to sell them, and then ebay takes a fee on top of it.

Suzerain of Sheol 06-08-2011 04:54 PM

Do you know how much the fee is? I haven't gotten around to even taking inventory yet. And is it a fee just to list it, or if the item gets sold?

Serra Britt 06-08-2011 08:23 PM

I've only sold a few things on e-bay, I think there's a list fee, plus a percentage of the final selling price, but it's been a LOOONG time since I've used e-bay.

Suzerain of Sheol 06-08-2011 08:30 PM

What I really need to look into is how much envelopes or boxes to ship them in will cost, which could cut into profits a fair bit, I imagine.

I might just end up selling the pricier ones, in that case.

Unfortunately, a some of them are in terrible condition, since I've had them since I was 5 or so.

Oh, and I just remembered by collection of old strategy guides, too, which are in a lot better shape and seem to sell for a lot as well. Kind of awesome to learn.

Serra Britt 06-08-2011 08:42 PM

Suzerain, for shipping games you can use the flat-rate box from the post office, the box itself costs you nothing and the brice is the same regardless of weight. In general the buyer pays shipping, unless there's been a major change on e-bay from what I remember xD

Strategy guides too, would probably fit easily into a shipping envelope which usually aren't too expensive.
