My roommate worries endlessly about me overdoing it.

I only have 46 pearls left but I'll probably get another 100+ from the contests. I plan to donate stuff to Ginger's newbie charity.

Batty was planning on getting two full sets for the charity so I was going to just send my extra pearls right to her.

Personally I'll see when it comes, I think Alexis and DarkWolfrin managed to get quite some pearls already with their art selling, so I may end up not giving all that much to them afterall ^^;;;

I read a while back that the currency will be different anyways. I don't know if that's still the case, but I guess we'll see when they get around to it?

I'll try to remind you if I notice. Pretty much as soon as the event is over and I get my pearls from contests I'm shipping them all to Batty so I probably won't have anything to worry about XP

It would be nice if they kept the pearl stuff for sale at least a week after we stopped getting pearls, maybe two weeks even.

Ya, I totally agree with you on that, it gives more time for people who may leave for a couple of days after the event to come back to buy some event items ^^

I did end up buying something for my roommate since he DID at least come on and post a little. I made him sign on to Tris to accept the trade before he left for work so I didn't have "pending trade" staring at me all night too XD

Lol! Well, at least he participates a bit in the forum, that's good ^^

Mostly in the Boy vs. Girl game, but sometimes he gets out there and posts a little in regular threads. I try to help him a long but I'm a lot more social than he is ^^;

Ah, right, it doesn't help...perhaps he should try joining a group, it can help...a lot lol.

Yea, I'm not really sure what to do. He tried to make an RP but he never tried asking anyone (except me) to join it. And he rarely goes to post in the clubhouses or other forums. I think he's afraid of failing, but I try to tell him if he at least tries maybe he'll have less problems trying again in the future. -shrugs-

Oh...ya, it's bad when no-one answers your thread...or when you kill threads...doesn't make you feel like posting anymore...

I don't always get answers when I post but I just try again somewhere else or in the same thread if it's really interesting. But that's just me XP
