Adelais glanced from Aaron to the woman, "That's because I don't really have an order on her...you've met her once before...in your apartment after your 'boss' paid you a visit." He sighed a bit, looking back to Aaron, "She's a very dangerous...creature...but for the most part, her and I are on..mutual terms...thankfully." He shrugged, "Either way, we don't need to talk about the likes of her.." He chuckled hearing a low growl echo through the building, knowing full well she had heard him even if he was speaking rather quietly.

"Oh ya. She healed my side." Aaron nodded. "I see. Well then.." He cleared his throat as the waiter came asking for their drink orders. "I'll have a glass of Coke." He smiled a bit. The male nodded and looked the the black hare male.

Adelais looked up to the waiter, "Captain and Coke please...and don't you dare use Pepsi.." He narrowed his eyes as the waiter skittered off. He turned his attention back to Aaron, "It's a shame I can't get drunk anymore...you'd like it." He winked then looked down to the menu at the salad section.

Aaron chuckled a bit, "I get very lazy when I'm drunk." He smiled. "But ya a drunken Adelais would be interesting to see." He nodded as he picked up the menu to look it over. He was in the mood for chicken, "Hmmm..." He looked over the menu and smiled as he found what he wanted. Fettuccini Alfredo and Chicken Parmigiana. He did feel bad for eating meat around Adelais, hopefully the male didn't mind. "Do you mind if I order something with chicken?" He glanced up from the menu. "I don't know if your that type of 'vegetarian'." He bit his lip.

He held up his hand, "Your eating habits are none of my business...after all..you know of..mine.." He set the menu down after folding it back shut, watching Aaron with a slight smile. "I like meat, don't get me wrong, but it's just so...'dirty' nowadays what with all the growth hormones they give the animals...but I will not stop you from eating what you wish."

Aaron closed his menu and crossed his legs under the table. "Well the only reason they do that is so they can pump out more animals and such." He shrugged a bit. "But... Thank you..." He looked to the waiter as he placed down their drinks. "Your welcome sir, now are you ready to order?" He pulled out his notepad. Aaron nodded, "Yes, I will take the Fettuccine Alfredo and Chicken Parmigiana." He held up the menu for the male to take.
The male scribbled down Aaron's order and looked at the black hared man. "For you sir?" |
Adelais was about to speak when the waiter had come back. Once Aaron had placed his order, he looked up to the waiter with a slight smile. He could tell the man was a bit unnerved by his previous behavior and his eye patch. It was flowing all throughout the man's mind. "I will have the Mesclun Salad, please, but if you could leave the pin nuts off I'd greatly appreciate it." He looked back to Aaron, "Can't pass up fresh strawberries~"

The male nodded, "Of course sir." He wrote down the order and skittered off to tell the staff. "Strawberries are very good." Aaron smiled. Gene would be so happy that this is working out. He thought as he took a drink of his soda. "We can't tell Gene any of this." He chuckled. "She would have a field day." He shook his head with a small smile.

Adelais chuckled, "It's a good thing she isn't a vampire..she'd prod through your mind in a heart beat to figure this crap out." He took a long drink from his glass before continuing, "Plus, she's be so bad at 'vampire mannerisms'..she's too..I don't know..creepy..or something.."

"She probably wouldn't be nice about it either." Aaron chuckled a bit. "Hmmm she's more eccentric then creepy." He smiled taking another drink of his soda. "Then again she does have some creepy qualities." He shook his head.

Adelais chuckled, "Yes, very eccentric." He ran his finger around the rim of the glass, pondering a moment. One the third round, he looked at Aaron with a serious expression, "I have a question for you Aaron...and it's going ot be rather uncomfortable... I know you're not one for relationships, and neither am I for that matter, but..I am curious..." He paused a moment, taking a drink, "..would you be willing to have a relationship with me? Now, I'm not saying you have to decide this very minute, or even in the next few days..it's a rather intense decision. I would like to know if it'd be worthless to try and...'pursue' you.."

Aaron bit his lip when Adelais mentioned relationships. He took a drink of his soda and sloshed the drink around in his mouth as he thought. "It wouldn't be worthless to 'pursue' me Adelais." He licked his lips. "Because I am interested in a relationship with you." He bit his lip again. He couldn't believe he said that, those words have never passed his lips.

A rather dark smile came across Adelais's face, "Oh really?" He leaned forward, his eye sparkling with curiosity. "What makes me so special compared to the other guys, save for my being a vampire." He finger lingered on the edge of the glass while he watched Aaron.

Aaron leaned closer to Adelais, "Yes really." He smiled. "It's because your not like other guys Adelais." He nodded. "You don't give a shit about how people look at you." He bit his lip a bit. "That is why you are so much more special." He smiled.

"I could really care less how the look at me and what they think..but there are plenty of other men that also think that way. What else?" He loved grilling Aaron like this. He loved hearing the man's heart race as Adelais's questions got more and more complex, while remaining very short. "Oh, I know, it's the eye patch..isn't it. I knew it."

Aaron nodded, "Well..." Before he could continue Adelais cut him off. "No it's not the eye patch. It's just... that you understand me. I mean yes, I may not be a vampire. But we understand things, plus we both like to kill." He smiled leaning back and taking a drink.

Adelais's mouth hung open for a moment, "I-it's not the eye patch...? Damn, I thought I had you figured out." He chuckled a bit, staying forward as his icy eye watched Aaron intently, "You know, you would make a very interesting vampire...you already have no problem killing another human...you're well acquainted with a very powerful vampire...and not to mention, you're rather..easy on the eyes to begin with.' He trailed off leaning back in his chair, day dreaming now.

"Well the eye patch is a big turn on." Aaron chuckled. He leaned forward a bit, "Thank you." He smiled a bit. "If you want to turn me into a vampire you can." He nodded. "I don't mind either way." He smiled as he took a drink of his soda.

Adelais shook his head, "I will pass on that offer..." He finally leaned back in his chair, glancing over as the white haired woman stood from her seat. He narrowed his eyes as she looked his way, his lips moving ever so slightly as he spoke in tones too low for Aaron or any other human to hear. Their silent conversation only lasted a few moments before he was smiling back at Aaron, "I apologize...she made a rather rude comment.."

Aaron shrugged a bit, "Like I said I don't care either way." He took another drink of his soda. He glanced back at the woman then back to Adelais. "That's fine, as long as she doesn't come over here and kick your ass. Everything is fine." He smiled. He looked at his glass, he was gonna need a refill soon. "Hmm, weird..." He mumbled as he swirled the soda that was in his glass.

"I'm insulted...I never 'get my ass kicked'.." He chuckled with a slight a sigh. "What's weird, if I may ask?" He glanced to the kitchen curious as to when he'd receive his salad. It sounded delicious and he wanted to try it.

"I never said you have." Aaron chuckled a bit. He looked up at Adelais, "It's nothing really... It's just that I have never, ever been on a 'second date' before. And I don't know the... rules or whatnot." He shrugged a bit.
The male waiter came back with Adelais' and Aaron's food. He gently laid the plates in front of each male. "Enjoy, and would either of you like a refill?" He pointed to their glasses. "Yes please. And go lesser on the ice please." Aaron handed the glass to the male. |
Adelais looked to the waiter with a sigh, "Yes please, and if I may ask your bartender to add a tad bit more of the rum I'd appreciate it." He smiled a bit then looked to Aaron, "I have no rules, if that makes you feel any better. I mean, we've already...'broken the ice' on...certain issues...I don't really see any reason to 'make rules'.." He shrugged, taking the last sip of his drink before scooting his glass for t he waiter to take.

"Of course sir." The male nodded. He grabbed the glass when the black hared male drank the rest of the drink. He skittered off to get them refilled.
"Well it does." Aaron nodded. "Well more like broken my..." He trailed off waiting for the waiter to go away. "My ass." He chuckled a bit. "I have no rules either really." He shrugged a bit as he picked up his utensils. "Smells good." He nodded as he cut the piece of chicken. The waiter came back and placed the glasses down and bowed a bit before he skittered off again. |
Adelais took his fork, stabbing a few pieces of the salad and bringing it up to his mouth. He purred a bit as the rainbow of flavors rolled over his tongue. He smiled a bit, speaking once he had swallowed it, "Mmmm..You did some lovely damage yourself, but, I can heal..unfortunately for you.."

Aaron nodded as he chewed his piece of chicken, after he swallowed it he took a sip of his soda. "Thank you, well you can always heal me if you did to much damage to me." He smirked a bit. "But then again I do love some pain." He bit his lip as he swirled some pasta.
