Riyo comforts him while they wait by rubbing his leg a bit. It's subtle enough to not get noticed really. "I'll get you a treat after this if you're going to be good." He teased, though depending on any diagnosis, it might be a healthy variety. They finally get called in, waiting for the nurse to arrive in the small room.

Vivi leans into him a bit, his tail curling and uncurling anxiously. He just nuzzles into Riyo a bit, trying to calm down. And then they wait in the room while Vivi sucks on his fingernail.

And the nurse finally comes in. "So what are we here for today?" She's just get ready and taking the basic vital signs for Vivi, blood pressure and all that. During this, Vivi is stay relatively calm....minus the tail curling and the sucking on a finger nail.

Riyo looks at the nurse when she comes in. "He's been a lot hungrier and a little sleepy today." He noticed how Vivi hadn't wanted to get up even though they went to sleep early for them. He watched as she did the basic tests. "Might as well get my stuff checked too? I don't think I have a record here yet." It was a good time to get both of them some medical records.

Vivi loves his sleep. He just stays quiet right now because what does he have to add?

"Anything else?" The nurse has to make sure. You never know what might be important. "Well, did you get him recently? And where did you get him?" She's making notes of Vivi's vitals and takes Riyo's as well.

Riyo thinks for a moment. "Online, and a little more than a week ago." He finds the site like off of ebay and shows her. "He may be a little....tender in a few places too." He didn't want to have to add that in, but he would have to since it would maybe help narrow down anything that could be wrong. He wondered if they'd get physicals or not too. He would feel awkward getting naked in front of anyone but Vivi.

No physicals today....if ever since Riyo isn't in sports, so he wouldn't be forced to get one. The nurse looks over it a bit and sighs. "Considering where you got him from.....there have been some problems to say the least..." Vivi kind of whines softly with his ears flattening back a bit. "There have been rumors of inhumane treatment there. I don't know how true they are or aren't.....but I suggest some blood tests. It could just be he's low on a vitamin or two...or considering some rumors....it could be that." She's a nurse. She can say that. Also, she's on the side of nekos being equal to humans since they would be if raised essentially like a human is.

Riyo wonders what the 'that' could be, hoping nothing serious. It was probably something he least expected. "Oh? There's really a funny story behind how we met too. I originally thought I bought a mail-order-bride." He blushed lightly, seeing as it was awkward to talk about. In a way he'd gotten one. "But somehow ended up not buying what I original thought. But he's adorable either way." He pet Vivi. "what's 'that' other option...?" He looked worried, since it seemed like it could be bad or just odd.

The nurse just covers her moth, shaking a bit before she bursts out laughing. "That's a story to go on the internet." After she's able to stop the laughter, she get serious at the last part. "There are rumors that they did certain experiments on some of them, but I don't know how true that is since it isn't like they sell as many nekos compared to other animals out there used for experiments. It.....just depends on the experiments they might have done." Which she's heard of the hormones they tested on some of the young nekos and all. So she's going to test for many things. She doesn't want to say anything until the tests they're going to preform are done.

Vivi whines a bit as now he definitely knows he wasn't what Riyo ordered...though he expected it the entire time. Though he leans into the touch a bit anyway.

The nurse gets up. "Come on. Got to go to another room to take the blood tests." Vivi obviously doesn't like that idea, but he isn't going to fight about it or anything.

Sure Riyo hadn't wanted a neko, but he couldn't live without him now. Could he? No. He doesn't ask any more until they get any results. He just knows if something is good? or bad that is going on he'll still have to stock up the fridge. Less junk so Vivi won't get overweight or anything. Right? He didn't have a clue. He stayed by Vivi's side during the tests, not looking since this was the least favourite of things to watch. So he thought anyway.

Well, Riyo is one of the few that would keep him. There are plenty that would send him back without a second though....or giving him any food or water before doing it. As the nurse sets everything up and gets ready to stab Vivi with a needle, he buries his face in Riyo essentially. He doesn't like seeing needles....or his blood coming out of him due to the needle. So, the nurse takes a few vials before bandaging him with tape and a cotton ball. "I'll call when the tests are done. Depending on the results...you might need to come in."

Riyo nods, feeling a little pale as he looked at the vials. "Alright. Let us know as soon as you hear anything. Or nothing. We'll be trick or treating and at the bonfire tonight though. I won;t be able to respond this week until after Mid-terms. So mainly after 4:30 pm since a few are two in a day." He told her, though he gave her his cell and told her to text if she heard anything back and he would set up an appointment then. "you did really well. Now let's go get you that treat. Hmm?" He kissed Vivi's forehead and cuddled him before thinking of ice cream.

The nurse chuckles a bit. "Will do. And if you don't answer I'll just leave a message. And if you need to come here, just come when you can and we'll fit you in somewhere." They always do find someway to fit people in if need be. She writes down the cell phone number. "Have a nice day." Then she goes back to her work as they go on with their lives.

Vivi just hugs and nuzzles him a bit. "...okay." He doesn't feel so bad....since he didn't see the blood coming out of his arm. He ends up poking at the cotton ball thing a lot. It's just one of those things.

"Leave that alone, it'll have to stay on for a few hours possibly." Riyo teased as he ate his chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. He waited for Vivi to choose a flavour seeing as it was a treat for being brave in a strange room. He would drop by the other meeting place at the coffee shop after the ice cream to see what everyone was up to before meeting for Halloween to start. "hmm I should look on the tv when we get back too, see if I can record any good movies while we're out."

Vivi makes a bit of a displeased noise. He kind of wants to take it off already. It's bothering him for some reason. He randomly steal a lick/bite of Riyo's ice cream before smiling and getting the same thing. It was calling to him, but he wanted to taste it first. And then he starts munching on his ice cream happily. "Nothing too scary?" He knows Halloween is about the scary things....but that doesn't mean he wants nightmares for the next couple of days either.

"alright. Maybe just the michael myers movies then." Riyo teased. "nah there's kids movies that are good too." He thought of halloweentown and other movies of that sort. He liked watching those as he normally did. "Shall we walk to the cafe and see the gang before the meet up?"

Vivi whines a bit, his ears going back, at the mention of Michael Myers. They brought one of those movies once....he decided he didn't like scary things like that anymore after that experience. "Yeah let's go." He says after like attacking a chunk of cookie dough. Yep, the perfect ice cream if he's worried about his weight....but it tastes really good so he'll ignore it.

"I was joking about Halloween recording. I'll find something mild and fun. Kids halloween movies are perfect for those." Riyo said as he finished his ice cream a block away from the cafe. He texted to see if anyone was around. So far it was just the other two who got up their nerve to tell everyone their relationship. He decided to visit anyway. They stayed there for 15 minutes, talking of the meet up and if they were going to the bon fire. After, Riyo decided it was time to get ready for some lunch. He also told Vivi how the candy system worked and how the students wouldn't be giving out candy, just the teachers assigned to each dorm area.

"God....it gave me nightmares...." Vivi essentially inhales what is left of his ice cream while Riyo isn't looking. He just follows Riyo and leans into him a bit as they talk. He doesn't really have anything to say at this point. He just watches and listens. "Mmm....okay then." He just smiles a bit as Riyo explains. "Will there be any reeses?" The humans learned to keep any and all reeses about two miles away from him if they didn't want him to eat them. Those are his favorite.

"Of course. Those are one of the best reasons to go trick or treating. Though the disappointment is all the chips. I rather the candy cause most chip brands suck." He figured a fruit salad and a smoothie of sorts would be good and healthy to counter-act the candy rush. How was he going to sleep tonight. He did not know.

"Yay!" Vivi's tail is swaying a bit. "But what's wrong with chips? They're a good snack..." Especially since Vivi's been hungry lately...if he had a little baggy of chips...at least once he wouldn't have to wake up Riyo or anything to get food. "And reeses are the best things ever! They brought some home made like reeses....those were even better....wish I knew how to make it..." Because those would be so friggin good.

"Depending on the test results, you may not be allowed to have too much of that stuff in a day since it isn't healthy and is full of sugar. So don't expect too much. Maybe a piece a day, if there is something like that going on." Riyo said, stroking Vivi's back as they walked back to the dorm. "how does a fruit salad and yoghurt sound. And a smoothie for a drink. That will counter-act with tonight's sugar hunting."

Vivi's ears flatten back and he makes an unhappy noise. "But.....I like the reeses." One piece a day would just be depressing....and he'd put off eating it because it's his only piece for the day....which means he'd probably never eat it. The depressing idea of one piece of candy is enough to keep him from purring right now. He just shrugs a bit at the question about food. He isn't picky about his food really. It's food he'll eat it.

"It's not an actual plan yet. Don't worry. But still whatever you do have, will be counter-acted with healthy things too." Riyo agreed to that at least. Once they got back, he checked out the guide, recording a few halloween kids movies and specials. He then started on the food making, finishing up in 10 minutes. He stuck slushi straws in the smoothies. "there. All done."

But Vivi's going to think about it now. He can't help it. If his reeses intake is diminished, he will be very sad about it....and like creepily stare at the candy for like ever. Once the chocolate is gone....it wouldn't bother him so much. It's all about the love of chocolate. Vivi just curls up on the couch, watching Riyo.

Riyo finishes his meal, waiting for Vivi as he hands him the healthy yummy stuff. He waited til he was finished before placing all dishes on the floor and pushing Vivi down to rest on. He rummaged through his bag first, opening a pack of 4 king size reece's. Biting half and shoving the other into Vivi's mouth before taking the opportunity to kiss and steal some more for himself. He wouldn;t go far, just enough to get a little breathless at most.

Vivi just munches a bit until he's pushed down and he squirms a bit. He's just a bit surprised. If Riyo doesn't move fast, that reeses will already be heading down Vivi's throat....which the reeses stops him from squirming. Vivi just kisses him back, licking at Riyo's lips a bit. "Tastes like chocolate." And Vivi likes chocolate, and Riyo.....to say the least.

"The funny thing is regular peanut butter and chocolate is kind of gross but reece's somehow manage to taste awesome." He manages to steal part of the pieces before Vivi ate them. He gave the last two to vivi just for himself as a reward. He figures now's a good time rather than next week. He clamps down on Vivi's neck in a good spot, leaving a nice ownership mark before kissing it. "There."

Vivi just noms on the reeses....well until there's suddenly a Riyo attached to his neck. He squawks at the sudden attachment. He tries to squirm away which fails horribly obviously. It kind of hurts but also starts the warmth thing up again....but Riyo stops before it goes farther. He rubs and pokes at his neck a bit. "That hurt." Clamping down on his neck? Not pleasant. "Why'd you do that?"

"You're mine. So I figured might as well mark you as such." He kissed the mark more, stroking Vivi's head, "Sorry. I just wanted the mark to stay. I guess I wasn't as gentle as I was hoping for." He gives Vivi the other pack of mini reece's as an apology. "That should stay for more than a few weeks. I know you can get similar of an effect by sucking but, bruising is better than just red marks."

Vivi just leans into the touch. When he's given the reeses, he kind of squeals before wrapping himself around the reeses. He's obviously about the reeses as he starts purring a bit. It's probably part due to the sugar, but other than that. It's probably better that Riyo didn't suck. It would've been a bit more suggestive than the bite....and that could've ended up with a certain excitement. "Okay then...." He doesn't get the difference, but he doesn't get a lot of things.

"I'll probably add more to the collection next week using both techniques. I wonder if they have Reece's flavoured body paint." He smirked, grabbing his laptop after getting up to go and check. If there was such a think he was sure he'd get Vivi licking it off of him. He chuckled. "mmm I dunno what I want for supper before we go out for the candy. Any ideas?" He needed help deciding on what to eat and feed Vivi along with that same idea.

Vivi starts blushing a bit and he starts rubbing his neck. And Riyo would probably be right on getting Vivi to lick it off of him. "What's funny?" His ears are twitching a bit before he inhales a reeses. "Mmm....food that is edible?" Very helpful isn't he? "Something with cheese? Cheese is always good." The truth, it has been spoken. He's just watching Riyo.

"looking to see if there's reece's flavoured body paint. If so and it's at an okay price. I'm going to order some. If not. What other things do you love as much or close to the same as reece's?" Riyo asked, opening new tabs to search for those other things. He needed to stop thinking like that before he woke up somebody he didn't have permission to use on Vivi right now. He sighed. If he did get hard, he would go to the bathroom and fix the problem before going anywhere.

"Other chocolate things?" Vivi giggles a bit, watching Riyo still. He just goes over and stares at his open tabs. "Why would they have flavored body paint?" He doesn't see the point fully. Hist stomach starts gurgling as a warning about talking about reeses and other food things. That's being a mean tease if they don't stop. And if Vivi hears him taking care of that problem....Vivi might have the same problem....or die of embarrassment...one of the two.

"you'll see if there is any. I know there's regular chocolate body paint" Riyo smirked, he wasn't going to let any of those thoughts get the better of him. At least not until the week was out, he hoped. "so...supper...help me decide. Let's look for something already cooked. Microwaveable or something." Riyo tugged Vivi up so they could both raid the freezer for food they would eat before trick or treating. He had some shrimp rings in the freezer too.

Vivi makes a weird little noise of his. "But I want to know now." He does. What if he doesn't want to use it for the use he's thinking of. Of course Vivi isn't thinking all perverted or anything so maybe it's better if he doesn't know. He randomly finds the shrimp rings in the freezer, "Are these like onion rings?" Except they have shrimp instead obviously. "And can we put cheese on them?" He wants some cheese.

"nope just shrimp on a ring. no coating or anything. Cheese doesn't go with seafood. You should know that. I could try to make grilled cheese I guess though I usually end up burning them..." He sighed. "We can have shrimp another time with garlic butter." He got out a frying pan, spreading butter on the outsides of bread with cheese sliced up in it. He watched it carefully, checking on it a few minutes at a time. By the time both were made, they were a bit darker than a normal grilled cheese would be but still tasty and not even an ounce greasey accept a little but not dripping.

"Cheese goes with everything. And then why do they serve crab with cheese on it?" They do it. Especially at chinese buffets. "Cheese almost literally goes with everything...except I wouldn't want it one my ice cream." He makes a face while imagining that. "That....would be.....disgusting." The truth is spoken. "And there are fish sandwiches with cheese....I saw them eating it." Talking about humans back then. "But maybe they were weird." He wouldn't know. He starts nibbling on Riyo a bit as he cooks.

"fine fine. But I hear it can like make you sick to your stomach. Could be a myth though. Still. We can have that another time. Since these are done." He rubs Vivi's ears in a special place as payback for the nibbling. He cut the sandwiches in 4 pieces each, cheese oozing out of it all stringy-like. "eat up. The we gotta get ready and go out." It was after 4 so by the time they got ready it might be close to 5.

"Mmmm....I dunno about that. Maybe it was improperly cooked fish or something? Or maybe their stomach was going to get sick either way.....I've never gotten sick the few times I've had cheese with it..." Vivi squeaks a bit at the rubbing, wanting to pull away, but at the same time it feels good. He starts munching after a few minutes, doing the old fashion pant like thing when the food's too hot.
