even besides the gender characteristics, individuals are so unique and different, it just takes a lot of time i guess...so, dont make stereotypes and try to get to know everyone? im not very good at meeting people, especially now in college. its so big!!

Obbiesan 10-27-2011 11:52 PM

Well i know i never would call a girl names or anything o_o i try to be as respecful as i can. What got me with my ex was she alwasy seemed to turn the blame on me and never really owned up for mistakes she made but then again i might have been not paying attention.

I feel i need to find a girl who likes games like i do and can help me communicte a bit better

Echo-chan713 10-27-2011 11:54 PM

My problem with mine was that the more time we spent together the more different we actually are

Zenella 10-27-2011 11:54 PM

@Lost: I don't get to meet people in college at all xD Well not face to face anyways, I do an online thing. I sometimes feel like I did go to an actual college, I might have a real chance at meeting someone but meh, too scared of all the people lol

@Obbie: It's nice that you at least try. Most guys don't even do that, you know?

Lost_Ninja9213 10-27-2011 11:55 PM

thats really good :) im sure youll find someone who appreciates you and who likes games. I've been having trouble finding fellow nerds though, maybe depends on where you are...
edit: i have heard that long term relationships generally do better when the couple is similar to each other. its interesting to be with someone with different hobbies and such, but it can become a problem. not that its impossible..and there are so many people, but there are quiet spots that i can sit at and go online

Zenella 10-27-2011 11:57 PM

Well...anyways.

Speaking of games, I'm going to go play one. Bye y'all.

Lost_Ninja9213 10-27-2011 11:58 PM

bye!! nice talking with you!!

I have little to no interest in getting married as the institution stands in our society xD.

What institution are you from?

femme gauche 10-28-2011 12:10 AM

The marriage institution...

Echo-chan713 10-28-2011 12:15 AM

ok, cause when I think of Institution I think of the Latter Day Saints (a.k.a Mormons)

femme gauche 10-28-2011 12:30 AM

Oh hell no, I'm atheist. I just think that the institution of marriage would benefit in our society from some... alterations.

Not surprising on a site like this, I mean there are definitely Christians aroudn but generally they don't tend to attract the uber conservative sort. But there are also wiccans and pagans and other more dynamic, less controlling religions.

well and we don't really see it when someone posts something that can give them a major sign that he/she is a conservative Christian.

Religion is a major turn off in an avatar site

I miss it to and i just broke up with the girl. I feel i need someone to just cuddle and spend time with like a really close friend who is a girl but nothing sexual -w-

My brother needed me to do things for him, but now I am back.

Long as it isn't one of those games where if I wanted to do something with you...I wouldn't be able to drag you away within an hour....I don't have a problem with gaming. I like video games. I play one player stuff mainly...but that's because I'm usually alone.

Nothing sexual? I can do that lol

What I am saying is that there are aspects to these sites which would repel the more conservative types. "It takes all kinds", so as long as people aren't intolerant or proselytizing I'm good.

I feel as if I have an addiction to rping? We all have our problems.

There's nothing unhealthy about video games or mine...but we need to balance real life having a social life with our video games/rps....which I need to follow my own advice >> <<

Obbiesan 10-28-2011 01:11 AM

Yea and im trying to be more social i know games dragged me away from tris and i really love it here heck i wanna try to make Mod position

femme gauche 10-28-2011 01:13 AM

Hm... well, I have somewhat of an addiction to just being on the computer, not so much an addiction in that in pains me to be away from it, but it is more of a habit and I spend a lot of time on it. But I just don't want to go out and meet people, really.

Yokuutsu 10-28-2011 01:15 AM

I feel deprived away from my computer. It is my social life currently .-.

Gas costs too much and no one lives in my city/town/village/whatever That's my friend really. And there isn't anything to do in my town or its twin city....except go to wal-mart pretty much .-.

I agree with this i hate goign out cause i dont like spending money every day or time i leave the house and it always seems to happen

Yokuutsu 10-28-2011 01:26 AM

I don't have money to spend....I don't have enough money for the vitamins I need .-.

femme gauche 10-28-2011 01:32 AM

My friend lives in another state. It wasn't until last year we first met in person though we have known each other since '05. I don't drive anyway so the cost of gas doesn't matter, but there is nothing to really do around here, either, even though I live in a large suburb.

Yokuutsu 10-28-2011 01:40 AM

My city has a population of 3k.

I bet you have more to do than us-which it may not be exciting or anything, but I bet ya'll have more.

femme gauche 10-28-2011 01:43 AM

Oh I definitely have more; by about thirty times over. But it is half old-school, snooty suburb, half arabic ghetto*, with a little bit of run-of-the-mill averageness XD.

*Note that I mean "ghetto" in its original sense of an ethnically isolated neighborhood and in no way derogatory.

Yokuutsu 10-28-2011 01:46 AM

Hey, technically the wal-mart that is the only thing to do....isn't even in my town. Arabs live in your area? The only ones I see are the ones that go to the university in another town...

femme gauche 10-28-2011 01:50 AM

Yes as a matter of fact I think a lot of people have probably heard of Dearborn for that very reason. I think about 30% of the population is arabic.

Yokuutsu 10-28-2011 01:58 AM

I have no clue of Dearborn -lives under a rock...and wishes it was warmer there-

femme gauche 10-28-2011 02:07 AM

lmao I don't think most people have, but those who follow the news closely might. But recently that "Pastor" Terry Jones came here protesting the Arab American Festival... He got a ticket I think because the mayor (who is not arabic, I feel it worth noting) was like, dude you don't have a permit. He really was trying to start a riot, I think. But nothing happened. so good on those people for taking the high road. Anyway we are right bordering Detroit.

Zenella 10-28-2011 02:12 AM

Tons of stuff to do here, even though it's a small town. Just not enough money...or friends to do them with lol

I played WoW for a bit >.> I wish I could continuously play it, not like for hours in a row, just that I can't pay for it but I'd like to keep playing it. :/

femme gauche 10-28-2011 02:31 AM

Aw I'm sorry to hear that :(. Yeah I am limited to places I can walk to or get a bus ride or bike to... and all there is to do around here is pretty much shop.

Lost_Ninja9213 10-28-2011 09:40 AM

wow....this is all very different, i live in a very crowded and "important" (government s*** is close -_-) area. Every kind of people are around here...

Yokuutsu 10-28-2011 11:10 AM

I live in a rural area. Under 3k population : D

FUN! WE HAVE NOTHING!

Lost_Ninja9213 10-28-2011 11:38 AM

we have stuff but also...TRAFFIC. D: and these idiots squabbling and attacking each other, very politically charged area -_- (doesnt like the govt..) i dont like getting into debates where everyone has no repsect for each others opinions and tries to talk over them, etc. of course these people are everywhere, not just here...

Yokuutsu 10-28-2011 12:04 PM

Everyone's a democrat here....except for me. Which I'm not really a republican either...

Well, if I talk over you....it's because I need to say it before I forget it. I could forget it by the time you're done.

I don't care about politics so I'm independent or I just neglect myself from politicians because they are so corrupted so that way they can get a next big check

Yokuutsu 10-28-2011 12:11 PM

I'm not voting anymore considering how the last vote went and how nothing has changed (I voted the opposite). Though you can't say that's Obama's fault unless you think it's because he pissed off his own party....because aren't democrats still the majority? -can't remember-

ANYWAY! I got my coke rewards bag in today :3

Echo-chan713 10-28-2011 12:18 PM

I never vote cause I feel like my opinions don't matter.

It's the Republicans that's the majority (It's a religion reason).
