I have a tv, but it only has video games, not cable. I don't even have netflix; I bum off of my fiancee's roommates, who are in turn bumming off their brother, for that. XD

I haven't had. Television in a year and it makes me sad because I'm not seeing new series or even new episodes. I wish i can watch anime on my Netflix but I don't like dubbed and theres no option to change it to "ova"

I really wish I had television to watch The Last Airbend: The Legend of Korra. D: I can't wait for that show.

I'm just sad that they may discontinue deadman wonderland, high school of the dead, and panty and stocking with garter belt all because of the new law Japan passed about anime

That it's a series is too mature for kids to watch whether it's too violent, too sexual, etc. then the government has the right to pull the plug on the series. In which some series hasn't passed their first season because of it

But psg is changed their tactics to keep on show like some of the scenes are going to be in live action.

And funimation bought the license to psg

The government shouldn't be able to cancel mature shows. that's what TV ratings are for. :<

well for me it's along the lines of the time slots they should put the mature series in. Don't put mature series in a slot where kids are available in.

As in, put em after 8? 9? 10? The question is of the limits, but those for canceling probably just can't take it.

I remember one of their laws being that they can no longer have anime in which explicit violence happens to children, or characters under a certain age, but I'm not sure if it was passed or not.
In my oppinion, the Animators would find it more beneficial to continue developing their shows, such as HSD, and sending them to the USA and other countries, since they cannot air them in Japan.

XD i have not seen that one, but I read Deadman wonderland and recently watched the Anime. I must say it made me gag and want to vomit at times and well I have seen a lot of gore movies in my day, including Saw and hell raiser and the like. And sadly it was just seeing a guy getting his skin peeled that sent me over.

I do not think that companies can license direct to american companies. I mean even studio Ghibli has to go through Disney in order to show a movie.

Those have been out for a year, which make me doubtful...

I think airing mature anime during safe harbor hours (or some Japanese equivalent) would be a good compromise.
