Star Trek: Into Darkness
Considering how campy the film could have been given what they were doing, they actually pulled it off really well. I'm not really a Treky but I live with a couple of them so I can appreciate some of the stuff. Quote:

Most recent I went to see in theaters was "Catching Fire", le hubby took me for my birthday. The last movie I watched was Resivoire Dogs? That's the first one that comes to mind. Gotta love Netflix. :)

I, Frankenstein...
It was better than the Hobbit...but a complete ripoff of Van Helsing (Frankenstein in Van Helsing: Wanted by the Dracula to power the corpse laboratory of his vampiric children......Frankenstein here: Wanted by a demon prince to power the corpse laboratory of the dead for possession by demons) The scenes were even near replicas... But, it was campy and fun, and if you get past the bad CGI, it is a modern angels vs demons action-fight-win. At least I wasn't overly bored. (That said, Frozen was better) |

Not as amusing as I was hoping but was alright. I'm curious as to how Frankenstein or his monster get into a film about angels and demons. |
Well...the whole "Devil can't create what God made (life)" is sort of the point. A scientist not influenced by god was able to give something life, so all hellish things want that...

So my friend and I usually have a movie marathon when we are at her house because I do not have cable and I do not keep up wit movies.
So I watched Wreck it Ralph, Snow white and the Huntsmen, After Earth and StarShip Troopers. I like Wreck it Ralph, fell asleep during Snow white. AFter Earth was strange. It was not as bad as people say it is but I am glad i did not pay to watch it in theaters. And I have not seen Starship troopers, and did not get to finish it. |
I just saw I, Frankenstein, it did have some nice fight scenes and whatnot but as soon as my friend Bryce pointed out Frankenstein was doing the Batman voice I lost it.

Last movie I watched in general was Pacific Rim, which was silly as heck but a lot of fun.
Last movie in the theaters was The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. Seven times. Pretty much my new favorite movie. |
I loved Pacific Rim. Took me a while to figure out who the characters were and why I should care about them, but giant robot freighter smack! The "Honest Trailer" on youtube for it pretty much covers everything one needs to know about the film. The awesomest dumb movie ever! Or dumbest awesome movie. Take your pick.

After seeing all the hype from my friends, I finally got to see Frozen. And I have to say I really enjoyed it, although I think my hubby secretly enjoyed it more. He was completely sucked in, and I got to laugh at him for how intense he was when Anna met Prince Hans. He literally jumped in his seat hands out stretched like he was trying to catch Anna. >w<
Oh, and I've had "Do You Want to Build a Snowman" stuck in my head ever since. *hums absent minded-ly* |
The Lego Movie
Not sure what I was expecting. It took a few to get used to the animation such as Lego piece fires and waves, but it definitely had it's moments. A little slow to start, I found it took a bit to get into it. Yay Batman and Unikitty! :D |
The Croods. Didn't know what to expect, but once it picked up, I definitely loved it. It almost made me cry. I would definitely recommend it, if you like goofy animated comedies.

It was a really scary ghost story about a group of friends who went inside a museum which was named 'a house of wax' and disasters kept happening! ; ^ ; -shivers- gahhh....scared me pretty nicely D; |
Lego Movie
It really sells the 'regular guy in the wrong place' shtick quite well, and hits you with some feels that you are completely not expecting. And makes fun of everyone who is super serious about Legos. |
The last movie in the cinema that I saw was Robocop. It was okay, it wasn't great but it wasn't terrible either. Although the action scenes were scarce and lackluster. I much prefer the silly tone of the old one.
The last movie I watched at home in my own time was Puppet Master 4: The Demon. I really like puppet movies but this one was baaaaaaaaaad. :T |

The Lego movie....EVERYTHING IS AWESOME!!!!
Okay I do not know what to properly say about this movie. It was rather hilarious and half the experience for it being funny was enjoying it with my friends and children in the theater who have a certain level of cynicism. I do not understand the lesson to be learned in the movie but it was a hella awesome acid trip at some points. |

The last two movies I watched were Man of Steel and Turbo. I loved Turbo to bits it was so funny. and... Man of Steel just... I did not like superman before this and this made me like him less.

The last movie I watched was Kick Ass 2. I liked it alot so violent so stupidly funny and dramatic where it needed to be. I like how they picked goofy actors for all the serious roles and I think they pulled it off. Jim Carry was not his usual amount of crazy. |

Just finished watching The Lion King (Special Edition DX) with the kiddos. I like the original release better. "The Morning Report" gets on my nerves. |

I liked it although it was kind of sad. The art is amazing. |
Erm, let me think.... Its not often I watch a film. I actually dont know. Probably some romantic comedy though my husband prefers action so it might have been some action film.
