"My name is Makoto. The Hunters call me Dal Niente. I don't care what name you use." She never liked other people than close friends call her by her real name. At this point, she didn't care what people called her.

Makoto followed Jayden, and listened to the sickly girl complain about being teased. They passed by an electronics shop, and noticed a campaign message from the Skull Hunter leader. Hmm? Those look like the Skulls we took out a few hours ago... whatever. What happens to them isn't my concern.

"Most people call me Jay for short," Jayden shrugs, before pausing a moment to watch what was on the tv in the electronic shop, "Man, what a sick world we live in." he comments drily just as his cell phone goes off, "Excuse me a moment."
Pulling the phone out, Jayden steps a bit away from Makoto and Avalon and hits the answer key, "Sup?" after a small pause, "Yea, just saw that and no, I don't know anything about it either so don't think about asking. And you need to tell the school to stop sending your sister home," pauses again, "Yea, she's here right now. What.. are you serious. Look we will talk about this later okay, I have police business to take care of. Yea, I'm taking back her to the flat so don't worry. Bye."
Jayden hangs up and rejoins Makoto and Avalon, who has stopped whining about all her ailments. "Sorry about that, flatmate lost her cell."

Chloe places the receiver back into it's cradle, picks it up and drops the coins in before punching Yamazaki's number in. She listens as the phone on the other end rings.

Roland nodded as he grabbed a loose cigarette from the top of the tv and placed it between his lips. "Its been happening for awhile now." Sitting back down he found his mind was filled with unwanted memories. "Its not a place you want to be taken to, Maki."

Roland snapped back when he heard Maki speak. He quickly adjusted his expression in response. "I just realized that I forgot to take all those cigarettes from the fire base..." He sighed deeply with a slight pout.

After a moment Roland lit his cigarette and inhaled deeply then exhaled a cloud of smoke. "Those who don't care about the fates of their comrades is soon to share it."Realizing he was out of line he shock his head. "Forget I said anything." Roland stood up. "You can sleep here on the couch." He then pointed to a door in the hallway. "Blankets and pillows are in there. Don't go snooping around..." Roland then started to walk to a pair of stairs leading down and disappeared from site as he went down them.

"Don't worry about it." Makoto sighed, and looked away from the television. "I guess there's things I don't even know about the Hunters. That facility they showed on the TV is new to me."

Makoto scanned her surroundings, making sure no one was following Jayden, the girl, and herself. That campaign made her feel uncomfortable. Even though that thing's supposed to instill fear, there's no way every Skull gang would just go into hiding...

"Let's hurry along. The faster we get to your place, the faster your friend here gets her medicine."

KYD

He held the smoke uninterestedly between his teeth and propped his head up with one arm, fiddling with the cellphone with the free hand. It was...nothing special. Not what you'd expect from supposedly-smart Techies.

...Eh. Whatever. No harm in keeping it for a while, until he could find someone who wanted it.

He sighed and nearly choked. Sitting up, he grabbed the cigarette near the base of the left fingers and covered his mouth with the back of his hand, hiding the coughs. Urrrgh. Roland should teach me how to get used to these... But then again, he was sure Roland had regular smokes. And just the thought of asking that prick for a favor nearly made him puke.

He sighed again and leaned as far back in his chair as he could without tipping over.

"I'm sure it's more than just the hunters involved," Jayden says quietly, thinking of all the friends he had made during his stay in Japan, many were involved in the skull factions and he hoped none of the captured were people he knew, "You will be surprised by how much yen will make a good cop turn bad. Seen it happen in London all the time. Same with the government, just takes one bad apple to oppose an idea like that and they snap the idea up."
Avalon was glancing at the tv with wide eyes, "Does that mean we have to go in hiding?" she asks in a very serious tone before hurrying along behind them, "I've taken all the medicines I need for right now, I take enough I could supply a local drug store with enough business for years to come."
Jayden chuckles, "Are you a skull?" he directs that to Avalon before answering Makoto, "The flat isn't that far through if you find something hairy and grunting in there, just ignore. It's most likely King Kong coming out for a feeding. And as far as I know, all her medicines are up to date."
"No, I'm not a skull and I wasn't preferring to me, you know who I am preferring to, Jayden, don't act dumb." Avalon muses before going quiet, not wanting to say anything more around Makoto.
Jayden pulls out his flat key when they are about a half block away before scanning the area for anyone else, in this area, you never trusted your neighbor. Seeing no one around, he goes up to his flat door and unlocks the door.

Makoto's eyes narrowed. The young girl's words bothered her. What's this? Are these two associated with a Skull? She looked at the girl carefully, and then Jayden, as he opened the door to his home. I'll keep quiet for now.

"I'm not surprised. I knew people like that." She smiled as she thought about her past. I killed them all. Someone didn't want them around anymore, so the client paid me to take them out.

Jayden pushes open the door and stands aside, "Ladies first." he says.
Not wasting any time, Avalon hurries in and a few minutes later, the faint sound of a door slamming shut could be heard.
"Wouldn't surprise me if she's dragging out the voodoo dolls again." Jayden comments to Makoto, with a shake of his head, "Wish she would use manners when we have visitors. And I think everyone knows someone who is corrupted. I was sent here cause my supervisor didn't want me to spill the apples on all the bribes he took."
Yet, Jayden hoped that Makoto hadn't caught wind of what Avalon meant, he really needed to tell Avalon to watch what she said around other officers and hunters, not all were as neutral toward skulls as he was.

Makoto looked at Jayden, and then the inside of his home from the front door. That Skull comment his kid made... I better be careful. She walked into his home and scanned the area. "Ojamashimasu (Please excuse me)."

Makoto looked at Jayden again. "I have some questions for you, regarding that other officer we saw in front of the Fire Skull's base. You got anything on him. A name would be good."

"I honestly don't know him," Jayden replies, shutting the front door, "I haven't been here long enough to know half of the police force yet or I would love to provide you with that information."
He walks into the living room of the flat to make sure everything is in order, "Feel free to have a seat." he gestures to the sofa and the two arm chairs, "Anything particular you like to drink? And I doubt either of my two room mates will be bothering us, King Kong rarely makes any movement out of his room unless it's food or bathroom duties and Cho will be out for most of the day and I honestly don't think Avalon will be back out any time soon."
Besides the sofa and two arm chairs, there was a flat screen tv and a few tables, littered with an arrangement of photos, many school photos of Avalon as well as professional photo of a young, curly auburn haired girl of about two holding a small infant in her arms.

Maki sighed and wandered over to the closet. "That habit of yours just might kill ya someday, and when it does I'm doing a hostile takeover of this place," she said as she rummaged through the closet. She tossed a couple of pillows and blankets onto the couch, then started doing exactly what he'd told her not to do- snoop around.

Most of what she'd found was what she'd expected to find; odds and ends, spare ammunition, and storage boxes. In the back of the cabinet she found a pack of cigarettes taped to the inside of a box of old books and stuck them into her pocket.

When she was crawling back out, she felt a soft spot at the bottom of the cabinet. She felt around and discovered a secret bottom. She lifted it up gently and raised a brow when she saw an information file. She pondered it for a moment before deciding what to do. She took the file, and in its place left the pack of cigarettes she'd found in the box. "He'd probably rather have the coffin nails," she thought to herself as she tucked away the file, replaced the false bottom, and replaced what she'd disturbed in the cabinet.

Edge diverted her eyes from the Toxic Skull before their eyes could meet. A waitress soon came over and said, "Welcome to Bon-bon Burgers. What'll ya have?" "Cheddar burger and a small lemonade," Edge replied. The waitress left her alone and Edge glanced back at Kyd; she knew he'd seen her when he bent backwards to stretch. She didn't like dealing with Toxic Skulls, but she knew Kyd wasn't the type to pull a stupid stunt in public. After all, you didn't get to call yourself a Skull for very long if you did stuff like that.

KYD

He stopped mid-stretch, arms still over his head, and blinked a few times, then shoved his hands (phone and all) into his pockets and kicked the chair back upright.

What a fucking pain in the ass.

He hadn't bought anything to eat yet, but his appetite'd already fled, so there wasn't any point anyways. He trudged out the doors slowly, then scrambled hand-over-hand up a couple of stories of a nearby run-down apartment and kicked in a broken window. he landed with a slight thud and winced; his leg still smarted incredibly.

That Punisher...what was her name again? What did she want with him?

Not getting answer, Chloe waits for the call to go to voice mail where in under so many not polite words, she tells Zaki to damn call her cause it's freaking important and leaves the flat's phone number, figuring the machine will it pick the call up if she isn't there.
Setting the phone back into it's cradle, Chloe heads back to the table to finish her coffee.

KYD

"Oh hey, enter the rich kid! ...The hell do you need?" he asked, his back to her. He did his best to hide the fact he was cradling his leg as he stared at her shadow, sprawling across the ground next to him.

"Damn. That's unfortunate." Makoto huffed in frustration. "I'll pass on the drink. I'm not thirsty."

She walked around the room, looking at the decorations and photos around the room. Makoto stopped, and faced Jayden. "Is it possible for you to get me some documentation on that officer?" She crossed her arms. "Though, I won't make you break your personal morals. You don't have to do it if it makes you uncomfortable."

I can't pull a gun on this guy. He's my only way to get into the police records... unless I can get some dirt on him.

Jayden sits down on the arm of the sofa and takes off his sunglasses before pulling a cigarette out and lighting it, "All depends on what documentation your seeking." he glances at Makoto, "If your wanting the computer files, I wouldn't be able to get those till tomorrow when I return back to the office or if you don't mind going the illegal way, I can ask Avalon's sister to get them when she gets back in. And don't worry about breaking any of my personal morals." he says quietly, before glancing at the photo near the sofa, "You end up losing those when you come a parent, if I wasn't an officer, I would be doing everything in my power to find Roz and Dawn, last I heard, their mother, my ex had gotten involved with one of the skull factions shortly after that photo was taken, I don't even know if Kim is still alive. Haven't heard anything from her for over 2 years. Don't even know where her parents live, they live somewhere in the city, if I could find them, I could find out where Kim and the girls are." He puts the cigarette out in a tray.

Makoto uncrossed her arms and reached into her pocket. "Then do it, I don't care how you do it. I want any information on the Skull Gangs, that police officer, and the Skull Hunters." She took out a small device from her pocket. "Also, here." She tossed the item to Jayden. "Use that to contact me when you get what I need. Just press the device, and I'll track your location."

Makoto started to walk towards the front door. "It's late. I'll be on my way."

Jayden catches the small device before glancing at his watch, "I shall let you know when I have the information, and yes it is late." He gets up from the sofa to walk to the front door, "Will you be alright walking home by yourself? You could just spend the night here, there is a spare bedroom at the end of the hall, I don't see any fuss of letting you use it."

Realizing how late it is, Chloe reaches into her pocket and throws enough to pay for the food on the table, scooping up her takeaway before stopping to apologize to Ashton for having to run. Pulling out a small piece of paper, Chloe sprawls the flat's digits on it and hands it to her before nodding at Harlie, "If you need to reach me, just call that number."
Hurrying back the way they had came, after a few unpolite cursing at the balance beams, Chloe manages to reach the block where the flat is located. Pulling out her key and twisting it into the lock, Chloe opens the door to find Jayden and Makoto in the hall, "Oh hello?" she glances at Makoto, not really recognizing her without her armor before giving Jayden a glare, "Kind of late for company, I hope your not letting her walk home alone, Jayden."

Makoto raised an eyebrow at Jayden's comment, but right before she could respond, another woman entered the room. She scanned her physical features, and realized that Jayden's roommate was the frustrated woman she saw after her run-in with the Punisher Skulls. Hmm. Things have gotten interesting.

"Jayden. Is this Avalon's sister? The person you said that could help me?" Makoto stepped to the side, clearing the hallway for Jayden's roommate. She looked at Jayden, and then at his roommate. "I can get back on my own. I'd rather not have either of you follow me to my home, and expect you two to return here safely."

Jayden nods to Chloe, "Yes, she is Avalon's sister," he replies, "Cho,this is Makoto and Makoto, is this Chloe or Cho. And if your sure about that, this neighborhood isn't exactly the safest place to be past dark."
Chloe raises an eyebrow at Makoto's comment, "Believe me, I have no interest in where you live and if I wanted to know, I don't have to damn follow you to find out, I have my ways of finding out what I need or want to know." she says in a cool tone before heading into the kitchen to sit the takeaway down and heading down the hall to pound on Avalon's door, "Come out and eat your dinner." before coming back down to the hall way, "And Jayden's right, this isn't the safest neighborhood for any young woman to travel at night, even I can admit I don't know the area as well and I have lived here for over ten years." she pauses, narrowing her eyes, "And all depends on what you need help with, if it's information involving a case or a certain person, than yes, I could help with that but if it's involving any of the skull groups, than no. I already heard what happened at that Fire Skull base and I have no interest in seeing that happen to any other skull base."
The door opens and Avalon, her long black hair pulled into plaits and in pjs hurries down the hall, stopping to make a face seeing Makoto still there and slips into the kitchen.

Makoto focused her gaze on Chloe, almost glaring at her. "Why can't I ask about the Skull Gangs? Are you a Skull, protecting your fellow gangs?" Makoto paused and looked at Chloe and Jayden before she started laughing. "Kidding. I don't need information on the Skull Gangs. I just need some information on a certain police officer." She cleared her voice, and spoke in a serious tone. "I don't have a photograph of the officer, but all I can say is that he has a light hair color, light-skinned, has blue eyes, and is a few inches taller than I am. He also smokes and wears a bandanna with a skull on it. There's something...sketchy about him, and he's given me a few problems already."

Makoto steps out of Jayden's apartment, and turns around to face Jayden, Chloe, and Avalon, who slipped away into the kitchen. "I appreciate the concern, but I'll be fine. I'll find my way back to my place safely." She bows slightly. "Good night."

Makoto left Jayden's apartment, and returned to her own apartment. She placed her gun on the table, and took off her jacket. Makoto took a shower, and headed off to her bedroom.

Chloe had raised an eyebrow at the question Makoto had thrown at her but doesn't say anything.
"Alright, night." Jayden replies and shuts the door behind Makoto, locking it before turning to look at Chloe, "You and Avalon really need to watch your mouths around other people."
"Hmm?" Chloe stares at Jayden before glancing into the kitchen and telling Avalon to get to bed, "I'll look the information up tomorrow morning on that officer and you can tell your new friend to stop by whenever to pick up the information."
Before Jayden can respond, Chloe gives a small wave and walks into her bedroom to call it a night. With a sigh, Jayden walks down to his room and gets himself ready to retire for the night.
