Don't worry about it, I was just teasing xP. I used to be really bad about correcting grammar/spelling all the time, but my own isn't superior enough to even think about it even if it weren't a rude thing to do... And I'm all right. A little tired. I should have taken a nap after I got home but I was e-mailing back and forth with my friend... it is the main chance we get to have conversations lately, while she is at her job ironically (she works as a receptionist at a nursing home in the evenings... And often there isn't much to do but sit there.) |

Well, I could tell you to take a class or something like that, but those skills tend to be attached to a certain type of thinking, like math or music or physics...

i've taken a lot of classes for english just because i love to write and wish to be better at it.
I always get good grades... but my grammar is still failing and my spelling is horrid. I look up words in the dictionary making sure i'm spelling them right. on sites everything is shot tho.. cause I just don't care about it. |
Yeah... I still try to speak in a coherent, correctly-spelled and passable grammatic fashion, but... It is more conversational than anything, so there are a lot of things that I let go. Unfortunately I haven't successfully written in an academic context in awhile, so I fear what skills I may have possessed are disintegrating. Writing clearly takes an organization of thought which I do not possess.
And yeah, like I said, it's more about the type of mind you have... As long as you can communicate and at least appear educated, and other people can understand what you're saying... You should be fine. |

you're far more grammatically correct then most, and your spelling seems fine I know I'll be fine, but I can never truly express myself the way I want to because of the words I know and want to say but can't spell so I dumb down my own writing and then I seem more idiotic then most. and when I speak I tend to have random ADHD moments and my conversations are everywhere. |
I cut myself off - a lot - when I'm speaking. And when I'm excited about something especially I tend to talk rather fast. And loud. People hate when I get loud... Even though generally, if I'm just feeling really casual, my voice can be pretty low or people don't hear me clearly... But I digress.
Actually I sucked at writing papers. Not because the papers that I wrote came out poorly written, but because I barely eve finished them. I don't know. I just don't know how to organize my thoughts and put them in a coherent order. I try but every time I try to prioritize, everything seems to make the top of the list somehow. |

I've kinda been looking for someone who is on often, that I can trust to help keep the thread from dying. But I also wanted (maybe a little selfishly) someone who is as big a fan of Harry Potter as I am.
But then again, I've also kinda been stalking people and their conversations in here and might have a few ideas who I would like...But I still wanna have applications so that people can put in to be the head of house...I do still want to find three or four more... But I can't exactly pay like I know some threads do. |
