Blah I have to take my dog to vet in 15 mins T.T She threw up 5 times yesterday and keeps whimpering and I'm super worried T.T

i'm sorry about your doggie, i hope it is ok! i freak out whenever duchess isn't acting normal. Like a couple of weeks ago my bf went to pick her up and she wriggled out of his arms and landed on her back and i was sooooo freaked out she was hurt. Turns out my freaking out was making her freak out and she wouldn't come out from under the table all night but the next day she was trotting around like no big deal.

I spent 102 on her medication and exam. She came home and threw up 2 more times, even though her injected her with anti-nausea and anti-diarrhea. if she isn't better by tomorrow afternoon I have to take her to get xrays X.X
If it keeps up I won't have anything to surprise serg with for our anniversary T.T

That really sucks :( It's possible they ate something like a towel and it's caught up in their intestines.

I work later tonight but currently I'm picking up around the house.
Just finished cleaning the turtle filter system too so hopefully the tank will clear up, New tank syndrome is the dumps T.T
on the plus side, I've done enough math and calculations that if nothing else goes wrong this year that I'll have to dish out more then 2k for, if I adult hard enough I might be able to purchase a hot tub before the end of summer *x*

ah as a former hot tub owner, they are incredibly expensive. I rented this house that had one and I was super dupe stoked right, it was a little two person one. Soooo fun.

Well.

I was informed that you can not turn it off if it is cold outside. You must keep that sucker running all winter long. So my power bill went from $79 in the summer when I could turn it off, to over $200 a month. I was not a happy camper! And the amount of cleaning you have to do on those things. .. I tell you what I felt like a PH pro. xD I didn't use it all for the first couple of months and then I opened it up and the water was green. I about had a heart attack. So I went out and got the kits and did all the chemicals and stuff to get the water right and I checked it the next day and it was super clear. I felt insanely proud~~ but also kind of grossed out because the stuff that made it green was still in thereeee even if it was in the filter. xD

My parents had one quite a few years ago, I remember the amount of effort into it XD My big purpose for it was either I spent 2,100 on a specific saltwater aquarium setup, or 2,600 on a 5 person 65 jet tub. Not everyone was to keen or excited about my salt water project >.> I grew up with 2 150+g tanks full of saltwater reefs, so it is a big thing for me. Or I could get something that would be beneficial for the entire household since we all work and need to de-stress, plus added therapy for surgs collapsed discs.
I remember my parents had these really good smelling tubes of stuff for the hot tub to make it aromatherapy too =O later in life I found similar packaging at lovers in the lube section 0.o
ALWAYS look at the wording of the package.
To this day I question if that stuff was actually for the hot tub or not....

hahaha i bet they knew what they were up too.

I bet I DONT WANT TO KNOW and I will continue hopping those were really spa fragrances.
Sidenote- found cause of dogs whimpering. She has an exposed quick. So the cause of the whining is the quick, and hopefully the medication will take care of her tummy issues. slightly less worried now.

So lucy is eating food(rice and hamburger) now and hasn't vomited since I left for work apparently so I won't have to take her in for xrays!
