Because they resolved to discuss it in person tomorrow. And I want to quit so I don't have to be in the middle of it or choose sideses or what have you. bluh bluh

Insurance - All you need in some states for pregnancy medicaid is a positive pregnancy test. In NC anyone can get it even if you don't need it as it offers partial assistance and become a secondary payer if you have another insurance.

I qualify for CHIP in Oregon and I could do that but if I wasn't working I would probably have to move home to Idaho. Which is fine and everything - I miss it - but they didn't do the medicaid expansion. So I could still get CHIP but they want so many months of established residency before they will allow you to apply. I cried to my mom about it yesterday and she is going to look into it more for me >3>

Yeah the residency is a bitch you are better off staying where you are at. You could stay with your job til you gave birth, and because you have been there for a while you will qualify for FMLA (meaning they can't fire you til you get back)

ah but you see he would say I quit or was laid off. My boss aside from putting the required posters up does not follow any labor laws. We don't even get brakes on our 10 hour shifts. (However everybody but me smokes so they all go out for cigarettes) My boss already established he wants me to quit before I get "fat tired and lazy like how women tend to do." And has been sending gals in to give me their resumes.

i have decided to quit my job.

now i just have to work up the nerve to turn in a resignation letter D:

and then i need to find some work from home stuff i can do and find a way to work on my crafts and hopefully sell those toooooo xD

I'd get a little part time job but no car and i'd have to quit in 3 months anyway so I would feel guilty :X

man I feel so bad for brady today.

He was the manager you know and in charge of all the stuff and since two weeks ago the boss has just been taking everything one by one away from him. Nobody knows why, nobody knows what Brady did. Brady doesn't know what Brady did. The boss won't tell anybody what Brady did. He just gives him nasty looks all day. The party went well yesterday and the boss was really nice to everybody and Brady was feeling conflicted that maybe things were going to be ok. Well we get to work today and the boss is doing intake which he had said just a few days ago . . . was the one thing besides budtending Brady still got to do. So now nope Brady you don't get to do intake. Now he just works 120+ on salary which puts him at $13 an hour which is $2 less than everybody else makes.

I also got in trouble for something stupid the other day.
On tuesday he asked me to make signs for the party.
I made said signs but he had left so I left them on my desk for him to look at with a note.
Well little did I know, the other receptionist put them in a drawer so he never saw them.
On Friday he calls and asks me to order them so I think everything is peachy-keen. We discuss how many to order and which ones and I email the files to office depot with a note that I will pick them up Saturday morning. So then the boss goes off on Brady for my not having ordered the signs (this is why i decided to quit), just reems him for not having me makes sure they'd be done on time. Saturday comes, I pick up the signs, we put them up for the party, no big deal. Don't know why he got so mad.

Today, the boss comes up and asks me how to log into his email. The same email we have been using for the past 3 years. I tell him, well, it went to the "do you want to add a phone number for account recovery screen" omg he freaked out. Came back up telling me it was wrong didn't work went somewhere weird. I go back and hit the done button. Then I have to log out so he can prove to me that it is messed up. It wasn't, it was fine, he had to type the password again and it went right to the email. Then he gets upset that the password isn't autofilled. "I can't do anything on this damn computer, I've told it to autofill lots of times but it is so messed up it never does it. It's supposed to just go to the email when I click the button!" Well the computer he is using is also the one he had assigned to Brady. So Brady had logged out to check our other store's email for a product list he was looking for and hadn't logged back in yet. So more trouble for Brady. It's just like omgggggablreraehlasg.

And anyway from there, the boss was doing intake right rightso he comes up and tries to teach me how to upload the forms to google drive. Like I haven't been the only one doing this for years now. But I bit my tongue and did it while he stood here watching me. Then he didn't bother to put vendor purchases in so the next time he tries to do a profit/loss it is going to say only profit on these things. I told Brady since I'm not really supposed to be checking that stuff but I don't know if Brady is feeling brave enough to tell the boss either.

Brady wants us to just leave right now and be done but I promised to not do that so I can't, even if it would be fun. I'm also still feeling anxious about handing in a resignation letter. More so now that I am afraid Brady is just going to book it. Bluhhhhhhh

essentially - Yarn Olympics! my yarny forum, Ravelry, just finished the Ravellenics Games, which are kinda like the Olympics, but with things like Toy Toss, Frogging Trampoline, WIPs* Wrestling, and Afghan Marathon. i 'medaled' in all of those, actually. =)
