This has been the past month for me lol

Tiva 08-25-2016 07:01 PM

I am so glad it was only a week.

I got some big fun news today (yesterday really). My oldest friend of 20 years is getting married and I am going to be the maid of honor, kind of. She is asking her sister in law to be her Matron of honor, and she is going first but I am the one who is helping with a lot of the planning. And much to my 'i don't need a special title' she is calling me the Maid of Honor.

A bit bitter sweet planning another wedding but I am super happy for her and I am more than willing to help her out. She is slightly amazed on how much I have pulled in less than 48 hours. But that is the wonders of Type A planning, and I am really type A on that.

Glitch 08-25-2016 08:58 PM

that is very exciting news! ^_^

I've only been invited to one of my friend's weddings and I was the best man for him! His fiancee didn't really like that and insisted I wore a dress even though I wanted to wear a tux for best man roles XD

SparX 08-25-2016 10:14 PM

We offered our mutual longest best friend a choice between bridesmaid or groomsmen XD She picked bridesmaid because she couldn't afford a tux at the time XD But said at the renewals she's probably gonna be a groomsmen

Tiva 08-26-2016 12:36 AM

That is hilarious, I would probably do the groomsman but wear a pants suit.

Alistair Fawkes 08-26-2016 01:04 AM

Just introducing myself. You guys seem pretty active. Hope we can be friends!

Glitch 08-26-2016 02:08 PM

I took him to a strip club and tried to do it all right being the best man and everything.

There's some pictures of me looking pretty upset in my dress XD

Hello there

Tiva 08-26-2016 02:18 PM

The flowers…. they are a bit much.
I would have been unhappy with it too don't worry

Hey Fawkes

Glitch 08-26-2016 02:28 PM

i think i was a big spoil sport about the whole thing XD just because i wanted to wear a tux!

Tiva 08-26-2016 02:49 PM

You still look adorable in it

Glitch 08-26-2016 03:30 PM

I even tried cutting my hair short to try and get out of wearing the hair flowers xD they just stick it up with bobby pins!

. . .

This is probably why nobody else has ever invited me to their wedding

Glitch 08-26-2016 03:49 PM

I'm 13w3d now and I've gotta tell ya . . .

Aside from occasional stabby pains in my belly and still being really tired all of the time (and this inability to breathe that might be some new allergies i never had before) I don't feel pregnant anymore. I'm like "is everything ok in there?"

Is that normal? XD

Tiva 08-26-2016 04:07 PM

It is fine to feel worried about it in the first trimester because you don't look pregnant and the baby doesn't kick yet so you have no outward proof outside of symptoms. Once you get the bump or the baby starts moving you will feel it all of the time.

Glitch 08-26-2016 04:17 PM

such a stressful time!

xD

Tiva 08-26-2016 06:40 PM

You will get through it just fine! But I would start thinking about the babies room and collecting things once you hit 16 weeks.

And also giving my your address….

Glitch 08-26-2016 06:56 PM

ho ho ho babies room? XD

I live in a 1 bedroom o3o

. . .

I need to move ._. pref. somewhere with a backyard so I can let Digit become the outside cat he has always dreamed of. He bites when he doesn't get the amount of attention he thinks he should be getting and I am worried he would bite the baby D:

Tiva 08-26-2016 07:08 PM

Worry less about that, because really I am super amazed that Zeus is so lovely with kids. A lot of times they love them.

Glitch 08-26-2016 07:10 PM

also. my dog will 100% hump the baby if given the chance.

She humps Digit all the time, endlessly. She humps stuffed animals.

And one time my friend brought over their 1 year old who was just learning to hold themselves up on the edge of the table. . . she humped that poor baby.

I don't know what I am going to do about that D:

Tiva 08-26-2016 07:44 PM

That happens…. but it is part of life.

MonBon 08-28-2016 02:00 AM

Reminds me of my cat, who humps my stuffed cat, my leg, my pillows, etc.

SparX 08-28-2016 02:40 AM

You guys have some weird animals XD
mine just lick everything.
Unless it is a specific cat who bites and chews on everything.

Lawtan 08-28-2016 01:02 PM

I'll admit, our animals don't hump things much. Then again, our last Husky was a bit of an uncontrollable "chase and catch" fellow. And that can be scary - to have a pet that you have to keep an eye on to keep them from hunting.

(Still loved him, though.)

Alistair Fawkes 08-29-2016 12:16 AM

I've never owned a dog. Or even a cat. My mother has always been allergic. But now that I'm on my own I've been seriously considering it. I'm just not sure what breed to get. I would LOVE a husky, but I'm afraid the Texas heat would just be too brutal for it.

I was thinking maybe a German shepherd. They're gorgeous, and I hear they're super smart.

I wouldn't trade her for the world though

trystan830 08-29-2016 12:49 AM

Alistair Fawkes 08-29-2016 01:23 AM

They're so cute!! I want an animal so bad. lol

One day soon!

MonBon 08-29-2016 02:46 AM

Aww you guys are making me want to post the foster overload pictures I have (I foster cats/kittens)

trystan830 08-29-2016 10:13 AM

thanks, Alistair!

sure, MonBon, go for it!

i wouldn't do well fostering cats or kittens... i'd just want to adopt 'em all! =^..^=

Glitch 08-29-2016 01:42 PM

i would also want to keep them.

Glitch 08-29-2016 06:52 PM

I NEED IDEAS FOR SPOOKY BACKGROUNDS

This is just for me.

I can't think of anything aside from creepy trees and like everybody draws creepy trees.

SparX 08-29-2016 10:29 PM

Haunting house
A hazy wheat field at twilight with a blood moon rising
Walls of corpses on the cliffs of hell (I am playing dantes inferno)
Bloody murder scene
My house before I clean it

ROFL!!

that could be my house too. XD

Glitch 08-29-2016 10:56 PM

ok the queen of darkness on an episode of hoarders.
got it.

Tiva 08-30-2016 10:54 AM

So many pretty things!! I want the puppies

Do not get a German shepherd until you have more experience with training as they need both a lot of exercise and discipline. I would suggest a larger Terrier breed if you want a high energy large dog.

Brick walls… the stuff of your night mares Glitch.

And I signed up for an Airline School today. Small loan to do it but then I can come visit Glitch!

Glitch 08-30-2016 01:17 PM

Oh ho awesome tiva!

Hopefully I have a place to live by then xD

Tiva 08-30-2016 02:43 PM

Hoepfully… cause if not I will be waving to you from outside your tiny little apartment.

Glitch 08-30-2016 03:11 PM

they just sent us a letter, rent is going up $60 a month ;~;

Tiva 08-30-2016 03:29 PM

Really? This is why I have a lease locked rent

Glitch 08-30-2016 03:50 PM

Mine has been month to month the entire lease time. So they do what they want X(

But it is supposed to be housing for income assistance type persons so I think it is pretty uncool they raised it that much. Last year they only did $30. Initially rent was $875 and it went up to $905 and now it is going to be $965. Not to mention they include the cost of sewer in your required monthly rent payment which they never tell you what it is but it is usually aroundddd $27 so I always send about $30 extra to cover it so now rent is basically $1000!

I'd try and get a two bedroom for $1000 T_T
(if any were available >.<)
((Why did everybody decide to follow me when I moved here!))

Tiva 08-30-2016 05:58 PM

Where are you again? I am sure you can get one for 1000 but it may be further out.

Don't forget to try Zillow
