61 oh i was here for both of the worst fires in my state. a year apart from each other...i had to go to work when the sky was this nasty orange-yellow hue. like the skies you see in apocalyptic movies and you couldn't breathe because there was zero oxygen in the air.

they're made out of a special something - like the 'glass' in a welder's helmet. it's so you can look directly at the sun and not screw up your eyes |

Sunday brought rain and thunderstorms, so right now it's still a decent temperature. But yeah, I've seen a few "grab a good book and set up camp in the cellar" days. |
