Too cash driven, too many hackers... it used to be a nice place ono

I like that with the cash tree you can get some free cash to save up.

The ten cents of gaia cash you can get each day from watching commercials is enough to get you a free monthly envelope each month if you do it every day.

I keep myself as far away from hackers as I can.

It slightly amuses me to get scam PMs. XD

I kept to my friends and quest thread on there and someone i never seen before hacked me.. it's like "what is the point of getting these items if I can't wear and enjoy them" cause they pick out the avi's who look expensive =/

and I think I'll stay here.. and on my clicky sites =w= no need to watch ads, no need to do hardly anything but wait for a donation currency seller ouo

I think it is a pitiful thing to be so petty as to hack or scam someone's game items or points.

yea and i was new to the internet so I didn't understand much about hacking or botting.. =/

when i got my account back a day or so later i was accused of botting and was banned.. the next account i made was banned with in 3 days of making it for botting, which i had never done before =/

so i gave up for a bit.. then came back made my Akai Tsuki Red Moon and just.. wore common items and stuff =/

Whoah! That is a bad start. The only thing I can think of that might even begin to cause such a problem with you would be if you used F5 - the refresh key - much at all. Using F5 will set off a ping in their system since it is what a bot refreshing the page looks like to them. I almost never use F5 on gaia. I click some sort of link to get places and refresh pages in order to avoid using F5.

speaking of other sites..i was just on roliana trying to recruit more people for tris.. we need this place to grow but we dont need gaians or crysandreans... we need more diversity and less trollolololols.

Gaia does get it's share of trolls. Sometimes they are fun to lurk at and see what people do. Other times they are annoying and are not worth reading their threads.

I had images not show up and someone told me to hard refresh which is ctrl+F5

=/ kinda dumb to have a button ping as a bot considering a bot is a program and a F5 button is a button a human presses

But i think the person who hacked me had did the botting and they decided to just hate on the name "Koneko Sakura"

I get my fair share of those trolls on Gaia but not only them, idiots and hard-headed types too.
Everyday there is ALWAYS a thread to move out of a forum, usually the same person whom you told that it isn't allowed, It's really frustrating. XD

On the other hand, F5 doesn't flag an account for botting, unless you do it over and over again. It's probably a 3rd party app on your browser like auto-refreshers and some people don't even know they have them. Either way, It's hard to assume what happened in the past so I'm sorry to hear about your account D:

Like Memory said, you do have to refresh real fast or a lot in a row with F5 for them to think you are a bot. The hacker probably went on a spree with your account while he was in it.

Are you a gaia moderator, Memory? Can they tell if you have a built in auto refresh tool on your browser if you don't use it?

They can't really tell if you have an auto-refresher tool on your browser, only if you use it. Some tektek app has this tool I think and users who uses the app must be careful not to use them. They use the app since it is convenient like when you post on a thread, your post designs will automatically be there so you won't have to ctrl+v all the time and also it has some smilies that Gaia doesn't have.

I don't have that tekltek toolbar, but it is interesting.

i use the tektek tool bar for auto post style, other than that i could do without anything gaia related

I don't use a post style, so I would only want the extra emotes.

I have tried the better gaia firefox add on, but I did not like how it centered the site. It also seemed slow.

However, being able to collect all your daily chances quick was great, and so was being able to select your own header.
