that's what i feel. this way, yeah it hurts now, but at least there's still enough good memories (i think) that we'll be able to be friends again some day. if we let it continue chances are it would only have gotten worse. i probably would end up killing myself and then he'd REALLY hate me.

i think so too. of course that doesn't make it hurt any less and it doesn't make me feel any less awful, especially since i'm the one who pushed him into the relationship to begin with. i knew what kind of person he was, that he wasn't expressive like me, but i thought we'd be ok if we loved each other enough.

love is just the outskirts of the city of a relationship. if that makes sense. there's so much more inside that needs to be taken care of and present. love is just "the scenery", as it were.
