Alpha - Because I always felt Sytherin house got a bad rap -- they weren't all bigoted or evil, just some of them. And the skills associated with Sytherin aren't bad (it's not bad to be clever or ambitious)...and I think in time esp with the new Headmaster at the end of the books they'll get rid of the blood purity requireme---

Sorry I do go on about HP |D;;;; but yea I mean the Sytherin students were the ones who went to get the rest of the wizards to come to the battle at Hogwarts and so many people miss that or skip over it, they didn't just run away they went to get help like a smart person would do instead of running in to the situation without thinking like Gryffindors tend to do cough cough
