Hey guys, just an update, my mom recently went home after taking care of me for a bit and I'm in counseling. Have only had one session and still working things out with insurance so we'll see how it goes.

as it turns out, they've changed the models again. it goes up the coast until about NC/VA and then goes out to sea... so i should be okay in PA. (sorry Tiva! stay safe! come visit me!)

Yeah I am just hoping it is accurate. My cousin lives on the coast and she is on call for if the hospital gets locked down. She will have to stay at the hotel next door working 12 hour shifts and sharing a room with another nurse (or 2) until they take the hospital off Emergency lockdown mode. Makes sense, still sucks because she could be there from Friday Night until Tuesday depending on how bad the damage is

You guys have Monsoons technically…. Don't ask me the difference there isn't one but they have different names. But yeah, from where they have the Gulf (full of Warm Water) they can get pretty bad over here.

Typhoons are the same as hurricanes, and monsoons are just when it brings torrential rain for a long period of time.
So you are right with us having mansoons XD Apparently "They are called hurricanes in the Atlantic, eastern and southwest Pacific and Caribbean"
