Damies: Right? Stupid apartment... 8P

Kitty: Back pain sucks. In my current case, it's because of a lower back & maybe upper thigh muscle strain from falling hard on the ice Monday morning. But even normal back pain can suck. :c

I have back aches a lot due to mt weight and massive boobage. I reeeeeally need to get in the habit of walking more for exercise. ;n;

When I'm not causing myself actual harm, I have back pain because both of my jobs require me to spend 99.9% of my time on my feet and I can't afford a car, so I can be on my feet anywhere between 5-14 hours a day up to 7, but usually only 6 days per week.

My back ache is due to strain I think, so lately I've been using a pillow for my back whenever I'm sitting upright and hand sewing etc. ;u; It's been helping. <3 (Sadly I don't have a desk in my room or chair and prefer sitting on the floor when sewing and stuff >< )

Omg. You never realize how much of your body is effected by a sneeze until you injure your back.

Ugh, I just realized I have no clue where the yarn I need to finish a dragon is. But my back actually feels a lot better today, so I might be able to dig around in my bins to find it between jobs.

I don't expect it to last long. Unless the one guy does it, I'll have to do set up for a baby shower at my one job tonight. XP But I do get all weekend off to rest my back and heal up, so that'll be good.

I went to my favorite burger place, an hour drive away, only to find someone had driven into their side wall/windows and they were closed cuz it had just happened. So we had lunch at the other diner in that town and it was super disappointing. ; n;

Also I started working on my desk today and 10 minutes in my back is like "Uh. No?" but I really wanna finish the blackening!

So after taking a hiatus from the forum for awhile, I'm back... been working on a hat to cover my now-shaved head. and worked on some costume stuff, and avatar items for here, which I need to get to Glitch and Galla at some point...

So i'm getting my hair professionally dyed tomorrow! Plus we're getting a switch!! I'M EXITED!

I feel so accomplished today! Made a test bowtie for Derpy, just needs a pin backing so he can wear it.
Might attempt to make one a tiny bit smaller, but idk.
And also made some progress on my apron from the craft along from what....2.5 years ago? Lol. Or maybe only 1.5 years ago? I don't remember exactly, but it's been a while...
Anyway, I need to get up to Joann tomorrow for my schedule and for maybe 1/4 yard of interfacing for the apron waistband and I will finish it finally!

Soo....actually, fun fact, one of my coworkers at Joann was kind of low-key trying to shame me because I don't have a husband and kids because I'm "at that age where you're supposed to be having a bunch of kids". And I was just all "but I don't want a husband and kids, thanks." Of course this all came about because I gave my honest opinion about kids (that they are disgusting parasites). Of course, despite my opinion, I am still nice to kids. As with most humans of all ages, I may not like them, but I can be civil and even somewhat friendly.

I am so good at procrastinating by making other things instead. Should be making wings for a dragon and other crafts with deadlines, but instead I finished my apron from forever ago and made a (just awfully stitched at the waistband) skirt.

Ooh! Brilliant idea, the print might be a bit too large, but I should make Derpy a matching skirt and then a bowtie for him and a hairbow for me! (Even though I doubt I can get a bow to stay in my hair...)

For the bow, it might help to keep it in if its made with an elastic hair tie or something that would keep it in. this way you get the cuteness of the bow without the struggle of keeping it in your hair.

Eh. Hair tie bow wouldn't show in pictures though.
...not that I anticipate pictures, but I might attempt a cute selfie with Derpy.

Well see...I grew up in a family where my mom and dad both sucked at even just basic ponytails so they were no help in learning to do hair stuff and my older sister resented my existence, so she never helped me learn hair and makeup so....yeah...on a good day, I can kind of do a mediocre pony tail.
So I keep my hair mainly chin-length and jist basic flat because I don't know how to do anything with it.
