Yeah, but one can never have enough books. >w< If I could afford to have a ROOMFUL of books, I would do it. >w< (When I say roomful I mean completely full, down to the last crack, including the walk-in closet.) *w* <3

Quiet Man Cometh 11-08-2012 12:00 AM

Well my mom bought a book store at a flea market. We've gone through it a few times, including looking up every author in goodreads to see if they where any good, and have gotten rid of some 30 boxes so far. We still have a couple walls of shelving, double stacked, with novels and such.

Arikana 11-08-2012 12:05 AM

Nice. I should find and head to a flea market too to see what they've got. >w>

Belial 11-08-2012 12:34 PM

I love flea markets, and thrift shops.
Soo many wonderful bargains to be had. . . .

Arikana 11-08-2012 02:32 PM

Why's it never gonna happen? Can't Dk just build and put them in herself? :o

Nice. That sounds awesome. :D
*kidnaps all your books* >w>

Demonskid 11-08-2012 02:37 PM

I live in n apartment building.. tearing down walls just to make them into bookshelves is against apartment rules AND section 8 rules since they pay most/half our rent x.x

Arikana 11-08-2012 02:38 PM

Aw, that sucks. D: Though I was mainly referring to buying the kind of bookshelves that one can easily assemble and getting a lot to fill your room so that it's almost like having rows and rows of built in shelves. :P

Demonskid 11-08-2012 03:46 PM

those cost money xD and i have 1 of them for my anime dvds.. need to get 2 of the kind mom has for my manga *n*

i'm using modified kitchen cabnets for my manga and other books right now.. and their too small >x<

Where i have about 65 manga .. she has over 300 last time i talked to her and that was 4 years ago.. ._.,

Belial - ._. those stairs are AWESOME!

I need a proper book shelf for my manga mainly because the taller books like the ones from June Manga and my Aoi House manga don't fit on the first shelf.. that and I am running out of room on that old kitchen cabinet xD

Arikana 11-09-2012 03:16 PM

300 mangas?!? owo
Are they all she reads or something? owo
I think she's crazy. >w>

Demonskid 11-09-2012 03:28 PM

lets just say.. she borrows anime dvds from friends and copies them to tape (cutting OFF the opening and ending themes which pissed me off) she has about 20 anime dvds.. and 300 was what she had when i last saw her when i was 18ish. she gets about 30-50 a year. -w-, she has to read EVERY shojou manga out there.. I had gotten her a shounin ai/yaoi dvd for xmas and omg xD her dads reaction to the first episode was epic =w=,

sorry dude i ruined your little girls brain!

Arikana 11-09-2012 03:52 PM

owo

Wow, she /IS/ crazy. owo

What was the first episode of the shounin ai/yaoi dvd you got her? owo It couldn't have been that bad...

Demonskid 11-09-2012 04:30 PM

First Episode of Sukisho. good anime x3

I just want to have my favorite manga.

Ultima 11-09-2012 04:52 PM

High-school student Sora Hashiba was hospitalized after falling from the fourth floor of the school building. On his first night back in the dormitory, he wakes to find a strange boy addressing him by the name "Yoru". The stranger identifies himself as "Ran" and says he's Sora's new roommate. The next day, Sora's childhood friend and dorm manager, Matsuri Honjou, informs Sora that the other boy, whom Matsuri identifies as Sunao Fujimori or "Nao-kun," is actually another childhood friend of Sora. Sora doesn't remember meeting Sunao before. In fact, Sora can't remember much of anything regarding his past, and the series follows his quest to regain his memory.
give you an idea of the story

first episode where Sora means Ran.. Sora be sleeping and Ran on top.. i guess one could say.. humping?.. rubbing on sora? .. thats what her dad saw.. xD 2 guys doing such things..

Arikana 11-09-2012 08:11 PM

Oooh, reminds of of Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle by CLAMP. >w> Well, minus the need to gather memory feathers. >w>

XD That's hilarious. I feel bad for the dad. >w>

Demonskid 11-09-2012 08:16 PM

nothing like tsubasa xD not even close

but yea.. i haven't been allowed to be near her since =w=, omg its just a anime! not like they ever took clothes off.. the guy was only molested by his childhood friend's alter ego >.>, nothing bad.. oxo

Arikana 11-09-2012 08:38 PM

Oh. owo

XD Poor Dk, you did nothing wrong. Assuming your friend loves yaoi as much as you do... >w>

Demonskid 11-09-2012 08:42 PM

she didn't know what lube was.. or how male sex works ._., or what all males have...

I introduced her to yaoi xD i corrupted her >:3

Arikana 11-09-2012 09:19 PM

._. How old was she when you corrupted her? :o

Good, all people should be introduced to yaoi and yuri. :3
Just not be as obsessed with one or both like you and Reyo are. >w>

Demonskid 11-09-2012 09:33 PM

hey i'm not obsessed D< you should see the list of shoujo manga i have waiting to be printed out OuO

she was the same age as me and I met her when i was 16.. corrupted her at the age of 17 ^-^

first year she let me borrow Tokyo mew Mew, Fushigi Yugi and what she had at the time of Tsubasa.. kept telling me about xxxholic making me not wanna read it.. ohh and we swapped video games from time to time.. she kept telling me what happened in Final Fantasy X and X-2 so i couldn't get into them.. xp

Arikana 11-10-2012 01:30 AM

How the heck does anyone NOT know how male sex works or what genitals they have at the age of SEVENTEEN?!? ._.
Don't they teach you guys anything in high school, grade nine gym classes during the health units? owo

Yes, you are. If not to yaoi, then at least to manga/anime. >w>

Yeah, it always sucks when people spoil things for others... =w=

Espy 11-10-2012 02:15 AM

Aaaalright, I'm officially out of the Spoon Assassins game. I just sent an email to my target congratulating them on being really good at hiding.

Demonskid 11-10-2012 11:53 AM

Yay espy no die now ouo

ari - ouo, she was in 'special' classes and i dunno what they teach there.. and the school only talked about het. stuff. Shes.. a 'pure' one ouo, her rps never had sex in them at all x'D if they did it consisted of "so and so kissed and through the night made love" and then they'd move on to the next morning =w=,

Arikana 11-10-2012 11:59 AM

Aw, poor Espy. D: Maybe you'll win your KGB nerf assassins one instead? :o

Just because they only talk about het stuff doesn't mean she wouldn't know body parts. >w> Actual sexual process, yeah, they won't teach that. But she could've gone onto Wikipedia or other similar sites to learn about the actual sex stuff. >w>
Man, she was REALLY innocent. owo
