I'm good. I was able to sleep until noon even though a certain cat I might skin later got me up at six to feed him. ^_^ The most I've done today is make dinner. I love days like today. Did you get any more of your paper done today?

No, I traveled for 4 hours after having a second turkey day with my other grandparents. I didn't get home but about an hour ago...

O.o Two turkey days? That's one heck of a food coma. ^_^; We just had one. And a light dinner using left over turkey tonight. Turkey makes surprisingly good chicken and dumpling soup.

I have two sets of grandparents, so they each have to have a Thanksgiving...I end up having 5 Christmases though...

We have to appease family, or we would only have one.

I don't have that much family. At least, not any family that close. The ones I'm close to live too far away and the ones that live close have their own family and we're not that close relationship-wise anyways.

Yeah, my family is all 4 hours way. We only get to see them around 4 times a year, so we do what we have to do to make them happy. Me and my sister are the only grandkids to my grandparents, and I'm my great grandpa's favorite and he's like 96, so we do what we can to see him before he's gone.

I don't have any grandparents left. The last one died when I was about ten. And most of my family is sixteen hours away in two different directions. One group in Alabama and one in Iowa. |
Oh goodness. That is a LONG way away. And yeah, he had a fall a few years ago, and he's almost bed ridden.

Yeah, we visit each side of the family every other year. This year was Alabama, so next we'll go to Iowa. Everything is far away when you live in Texas. ^_^ Ah, I see.

Yeah. I'm kinda glad all our family is close, but then again, it sometimes drives us nuts cause they think we can come in anytime we want...

Sometimes I wished I had family close by. Then I think of all the family functions I'd have to go to and I change my mind. ^_^

Yeah. We kind of got lucky in getting out of a Family Reunion due to not being able to go in for one night in the middle of the week.
