Simple but Bold
 

Black and white. I like clean avatars without too much clutter and weird things. I don't like bright baby-ish colours a lot. And they should have a great hair style.

I like to make avvies that are somewhat simple, too. I don't mind layering, but for me, it must look like something new created, a new item of sorts. Like The oriental shirt + pandora side item. I don't like crazy color combos usually, and not really bright colors, too, unless they're balanced out by black. I usually use gold or neon-ish colors only as accents.
I don't like making hair in unnatural color, say, purple or blue. ;>.>
Good hairstyle is cool/needed, too, but sometimes hard to obtain. x3;

Last night, I use my 30k in Aurums and bought so many hair styles in many different colors. I only bought the hair style and color that I like and that I'm going to use in the future. Though, I should have wait and buy them later and try to save up for other rare items when the site fully open. I haven't use red and black for a long time now until last night when I was trying on some red items and see how good it look and how clean and fresh it made me feel.

Wow, lot of hair styles for you then. XD But congrats. C: I am sure you will earn it up back in no time. ^^ I have only basic of the hair styles I want, but I want to eventually obtain them also in blonde (since silver and lightest shade of basic are nearly identic in hairs), and maybe some random extra hair color, like natural brown or red. x3

I only bought basic until I realized that the lightest of basic was a light grey, and the only way to get real white is to buy silver. >.<

Oh, that's great. I bet you have so much commons in your inventory right now. Though I do wish one item come in different color instead of us buying each item in different color shading and all that. I am satisfy with all the hair that I bought and now I don't need to buy any more hair unless there new styles popping up in the shop.

I'm sure we'll have more hair soon. ;] I think I remember Fenris saying that she had Anlina make 70 different hairs, plus I'm pretty sure Moonykins made some more guy hairs. if I remember correctly, we decided to start with only 40 of the hairstyles (but I'm not going through the shop to count!) and release some more later.

I think there will be more hairs eventually. x3

Yes, I have lots of commons. =o=; I have collected basic, blonde, green, blue, lilac, silver, purple items (all the ones I want) and now working on sky blue, teal, crimson, special (it comes in 5 or 6 different colors C; ) and natural brown. Then I will be finished, unless I gather up also Rose stuff.
Of course, as more items will get added, my quest will get huger and huger.

The reason I don't want to buy too much commons is that I tend to sell them all back to the shop for half price and just make myself more poorer. Hahaha. I done this on all the avatar sites that I'm on, I can't control myself. I will not sell it if there no sell back option. XD

I buy only stuff I can see my self using and if I decide that I won't use it, then I stop collecting more shades of. Patch dress is one such example.

I do simple and chic styles with a flow of a color scheme (for me it ends up of black and another color) where it doesn't look busy and cluttered.

Indeed it's very nice. Simplicity is done only occasionally enough that you stand out in the crowd ;D

I keep my avatar simple in the sense I only use two colors to form the entire thing. Any more than that and I just CAN'T make it look good xP But in order to keep it balanced I end up adding a number of items that can make it look cluttered.

My current avatar for example started out with me trying to use Lunae's bundle, but then I noticed he looked a lot like one of my OCs. But in the end making my OC was a little more work than I want to do so I stuck to this one.

I like having really plain and simple avatars, all the time, and usually I try to make them look as realist (fashion-wise) as I can, I dunno why, I just like them that way. xD

I do simple designs, but I do it in bold colrs or attract one color out of a black and white pallette

Color wise? My favorites are blue, green and white with I suppose black. xD
But anything striking, I like to use.

I like avatars which has lots of clutter on the base and it turns out matching, I can't make an avatar like that, but I love the avatars other people make in avatar community sites.

If I'm not doing a character or oc cosplay, my usual color schemes are black/white, gold, or brown monochrome, or I try making rainbow avatars...

I'm not sure what my style currently is..
I like lots of blacks. I usually prefer things that are elegant and gothic. But if there were more steampunk or elegant gothic aristocrat-styled items here, I'd be wearing those more.

I tend to use more neutral colors, not too bright, not too dark, and I like to have layering and a good balance of colors and items. I don't have a lot of items right now so this was the best I could do. xD

I don't really know what I want with mine..I want to make it simple but I guess bold?...I'm digging this anthro thing...
