As the sunlight dimmed and the sky darkened, a lone, white dog slows its pace through the city. The claws clicked with each step on the pavement, but such sounds were drowned during each heavy breath that Rez took. He had attacked a group of vampires just outside of the city earlier, but the victims turned the situation in their favor and fought back, forcing a hasty retreat for Rez. It was a hard lesson learned, where he found that those who had numbers could overpower him in a short time. Luckily they didn't bother to follow him back, which he figured was because he had just jumped from the frying pan and into the fire. The smell of vampires was all around, and he knew he was surrounded, and a wrong move could spell his demise. Unbeknownst to him, it was even more dangerous for the fact that he was no longer in his home territory of the Blood Clan.

Uncertainty and fear crept through every fiber of his body, as the incident had left its mark on him and paranoia had settled in. However, Rez knew that he needed to rest to ensure a safe escape from the vampire-populated area, in a potentially worse case scenario. The dog turned a corner in a place that didn't seem like it had a lot of foot traffic and promptly sat down, continuing his efforts to catch his breath and to lick whatever blood remained on his fangs and fur. Though his ears perked up as soon as he realized that there were people talking not too far off from where he was, and his gaze immediately went to the direction of the source.

Sunset..

Resting a hand against her hip as the streaks of orange and red not only went across the sky but reflected through her curly strands of blond hair, Chloe watched the fiery orb do it's slow descent. To many humans, the setting sun only brought fear, many made haste back to the safety of their houses a hour before they knew the sun was due to set. Only the brave few would venture out past sunset, everyone knew that you didn't go out at dark unless you were apart of group for more protection or were just damn crazy. Chloe was neither, she was in fact, human. She bled, wasn't scared of daylight and could enjoy a pizza with all the garlic she wanted.

As the sun lazily slipped beyond the horizon and the streaks of red and orange disappeared from the sky, Chloe still didn't feel threatened, she carried enough defensive weapons on her that any vampire would wish they hadn't thought of messing with her.

Thank you Daddy for all the marital arts lessons, they really paid off...

Seth stood in place after a few "minutes of conversing with himself for only a moment. "Claire..." the name of the women brought a strange feeling to the pits of his undead stomache region. Could vampires really show emotion, or was it just an illusion to ease the mind of those turned that choose not to let go of the past. Nevertheless Seth quickly dismissed the strange event letting out a small huff he turned and began down an alleyway. "Has the blood who used to be are brehern really suddenly became are enmy? Tis quite the conundrum..." The smell of cold blood alerted Seth he quickly held his hand out with his palm towards the ground. "Hello?" He questioned the darkness in front of him.

As soon as Seth came around, his eyes widened and glued themselves to the danger approaching. He struggled to keep his breathing under control, uncertain what types of awkward abilities or weaponry the stranger would unleash upon him if he discovered that Rez was not a normal canine. slowly, he lifted himself off the ground, standing on all fours and prepared to take any quick action that may be needed to avoid receiving any damage.

With Seth's gestures, Rez could tell that Seth was well aware of the presence in the alley way, but not enough to be able to tell if Seth could see him. For a few seconds, he stood still, just assessing the situation before him. Soon, he decided that just standing there was probably going to be worse than just moving out of the way, and finally he trotted out of the alley, hoping that Seth wouldn't bother with him. Still, he couldn't help but try to keep looking at Seth to make sure he wouldn't do anything.

Claire

As the sun set upon the human populated town humans scattered in every direction, some would stay on the streets but not many, Claire was on of those few people. With a small slip of paper clutched in her right hand she slowly and weakly walked towards the middle of the town to a spot, she was told by a vampiric knight of the moon clan to rendezvous with a red haired ill tempered women by the name of "Chloe". Claire was used to this, her sickness made her weak and easy pray for those of the blood. It was the moons thoughtfulness that made them so persistent that she be escorted during the night. "What a bother... I don't even know this Chloe women.. Why couldn't they just stick me with someone i know.." Claire knew that answer the refused to pair her with a friend knowing that it might distract her in the long run and endanger her life. "Well i hope this Chloe doesn't mind a sick dying women that speaks her mind." a sigh slip from between her lips and she made it to the specified spot but no one was around. "Shes late.... pfft... Its just like humans to leave a women waiting.."

Escort..

Chloe had been informed she would be escorting another human by the name of the Claire. Just what she needed.. someone to slow her down. She already knew she was late, being on time wasn't one of her qualities she cared to boost about.
"I hope this Claire can fight." Chloe grumbles as she makes her way to the meeting spot, her eyes and ears alert for any sign of danger before her eyes narrow at the girl waiting, "You Claire?" her voice had a degree of ice in it, she was not one of those warm and loving people. She had a job to do and she was going to get done even if she had to carry this Claire girl over her shoulder like a sack of potatoes...

SETH

Seth took a deep breathe in through his nose after hearing the patter of small feet, the smell of several vampires flooded into his nose, this was strange for such a small spaced area. "There is no use of running, your soaked in the stench of my brethern.. You are obviously not of the shadow clan you have no honor being a coward and running and the moon are to good to spill innocent blood.. So, You must be of the blood am i correct?.." Seth continued speaking into the darkness as below his palm shadows cluttered together creating small shurikens that spun at a fast pace but oddly enough stayed completely still. "Show your self of i will be forced to use lethal measures to lure you out cretin.." The look on seth's face was serious he wasn't going to think twice about slaughtering another he knew how war was.. he knew that if he didn't kill the chances were he himself would be killed..

Rez curled his lips, then followed with a low growl as he moved into a better lit area so that Seth could see him. Then he started to walk in a circle around Seth, "Clans? I don't know of any clans..." Rez didn't have much knowledge about the world, after being locked up behind bars for so many years. He had only obtained his freedom just over a week prior, and that was enough to at least give him some basic skills and knowledge, but not enough to know about the current events and culture of the world around him. Though, it was a miracle he was still alive after acting hostile towards everyone who encountered him.

He began to growl more loudly than before and snapped, "If you know what's good for you, you'll shut up and walk away quietly!" Of course it was a bluff. Rez knew that Seth had the upper hand, but Rez didn't want to appear weak and defenseless. He stopped walking and finally faced Seth, almost challenging him, "Well? What are you going to do?"

Claire

Claire jumped from he sudden sudden sound of a voice breaking the silence of the night. She quickly placed her hand over the hilt of the sword around her waist. "That all depends whos asking?" Claire slowly turned towards the voice quickly examining the women from head to toe. "You know for a vampire, your quit humanly" Claire giggled in sarcasm she knew the woman was human but she enjoyed teasing others from time to time "Chloe i pressume?"

With an raised eyebrow at Claire's comment, Chloe crosses her arms over her chest and glares at the girl, "If I was a vampire, I would of found that quite rude and insulting. I'm not here to play babysitter nor form friendships, this will probably be the only time I'll have to escort you so my name should not slip off of your tongue after this if you value your ability to speak. You keep up or else you cover your own ass."

Turning her attention to make sure nothing was in the shadows before beckoning to Claire, "Come on. We can't afford to waste time and not sure about you, but I don't wish to be a midnight snack for any vampires in the area."

Seth examined the others as he circled him in attempt to frighten seth away, a grin flew across the male vampires face revealing his sharp and pointed teeth. "So, you are uneducated by the ways of the clans hmm? Well, let me teach you about the clan from which i hail.." seth twisted his palm to the side as the shurikens dropped there form twisting and turning molding together to form a sword in his hand "first we of the shadow clan are well known for our ability to use the darkness of the night to our advantage, as well as our knack for deadly occular abilties.."

Seth gripped the sword tightly in his hand while staring the other coldly in the eye. "Lesson twk we are a clan known for our honor in battle as well as our ideals of shunning those who dare run from a challenge" it was then at that moment seth twisted his body in a jerking motion and instead of swinging with his sword hand like a normal first move would be he swiftly brought his boot into the air and towards rezs temple attempting to push the other back.

Rez froze as he realized that he had picked a fight with the wrong individual. He didn't think that the person before him would go out of his way just to have a fight with someone that he only met recently. His body then jerked back in surprise as Seth launched his attack, and the next thing he knew was a 'boot to the head' ((lolol xD...I couldn't help it -D-)). Though before it could make contact, he jolted and swiftly pulled himself back a few inches, opening his jaws and baring his sharp teeth for a counter attack. Rez, unfortunately , had miscalculated and instead found his opponent's foot inside his mouth. While he could have clamped down and dragged Seth around, he was too shocked by how quick everything was moving and also by the very idea that he had just accidentally accepted the chef's surprise dish, le bootsies hors d'oeuvres.

Claire

A giggle escaped Claire's throat at the sight of chloe trying to scare her. "Vampires wouldnt want me as a snack im to che..." before Claire could possibly finish her comment blood flooded the back of her throat and all in one motion shes cpughed into her hands filling them with blood she turned away from the woman and quickly rubbed her hands off on the side of building trying to hide the evidence of her illness but unfortunately she only smudged the blood blood in her hands across her wrists.

Claire looked down with a depressive and embarresed look on her face. "Go ahead run away tease me make a joke like everyone else" tears began to form under the eyes of the grown women. "Just leave me to be vampire chow, you obviously dont wanna be here... I rather thar then have more humans stare at me like some freak..." Claire wiped the tears from her face looking up with an almost emotionless expression. "You heard me.. leave.."

Seth winced for only a moment in anticipation of the others fangs to sink into his foot, but as he realized his oppenent wasnt going too bite seth took advantage of his foit being lodged in Rez's mouth by slamming his foot downwards towards the ground below at taking the other with him. "Looks like you have bit off more than you can chew" seth looked at the other with a distastefull look. "Ill give you this one chance to back down now it would be a pity to get your blood on my clothes"

Rez yelped and whimpered in pain, the sensation of his lower jaw slammed into the ground with such force made him fall to the ground with it. His eyes rolled up, barely able to even look at Seth's knees as he wanted to show his opponent just how much he wanted to kill him at that moment. "Arreh raw...?" he stopped the moment he found that he couldn't speak with a mouth full of foot, other than incoherent garbled words. What he wanted to say was that it was Seth who had assaulted him first since Seth was now making it appear as though the fight had been started by him. Even more so that Seth had made a speech about looking down on people who chose to turn their backs from battles presented to them.

He tried to wiggle his jaw free, but all he managed to do was move his jaw across the ground by a few centimeters, which just infuriated him even more. "Reeh meh!" Rez shouted in frustration, pressing a paw against Seth's leg to get him off. Rez made a cross between a low growl and a whine and finally he relaxed himself, breathing heavily as he awaited for what would come next.

Claire

Claire clenched her fist hearing the other talk to her like she w as some helpless child, she stood for a moment trying to collect herself from yelling at the other, After a deep breathe she began to speak. "Who are you to tell me how to live!? Why should people like me who suffer physical and emotional pain everyday not knowing which breathe could be my last stay inside trapped without freedom! When people like you get to stay alive and prosper enjoying the beauties of life?! You explain that to me and ill go inside never to peak at the light of day again!!" Tears rolled down Claires cheeks as she fell to her knees in emotional agony. Claire knew she should have been unside but sge didnt care enjoying life was important to her and another who understood nothing about her wasnt going to change her mind otherwise.

Hearing Claire's angry words, Chloe turned away from her, not wanting the other girl to see the pain in her eyes. Not many people knew of Ava, Chloe had spent many of nights up, comforting her but in the end.. her eyes closed as the memories returned, her younger sister had took her last breath cradled in her arms, the person that had promised her, she would be cured was the one in the end, had to close those innocent green eyes when death came calling.

Opening her eyes again, she takes a deep breath, "You know nothing of my past. I refuse to answer your questions. Get up and we'll get back to the others. Your just advertising there's a free meal to any vampire around with that blood on you."

Seth once more looked at the other with a look of pure disgust. "Didn't your mother every teach you not to talk with your mouth full" a swift smirk flew across the mans face as he brought up the boot that Rez was attached to and kicked it forward throwing the pther off his boot. "Oh look you scuffed it, now i have to aquire new boots.."

Seth took a few steps backward keeping a catious eye on his foe. He proceeded to take his free left hand and run it through his black hair with redend higlights pulling his bangs over one eye. "You have two choices at this point run like the coward i assume you tp be, or prove me wrong by showing me your honor and skill. You are clearly ignorant to current events so let me enlighten you. Currently the three clans creayed by the triad are at war which i have been dragged into.. Which means i have no time to be battling cowards who cannot back up a challenge they were clearly making" seth clutched his sword tigher and shrugged his shoulders "So either show me your not a waste of the time i have used on you, or leave now and pray that i never sed you again, because next time i wont hesitate to plunge my blade into your dead heart..."

Rez yelped as he was thrown to the side before he recovered and got on his feet again, snarling at Seth, "You're just no better than the rest! All of you should just die!" As far as Rez had seen, Seth was on the same level as the very vampires who had locked him up and abused him, knowing that they were picking on someone who couldn't defend himself and taking pleasure in it. He didn't care about what Seth said about family he never knew, or the war that he has just heard about, all of it seemed to roll off his head as he turned his focus on satiating the rage that he was feeling towards Seth.

Soon, with a swift bolt, Rez had lunged through the air and at Seth. His jaws were open and ready to chomp down on the confident vampire, aiming for the throat. He knew from his past fights, that people dropped faster after clamping onto the neck than clamping onto any other body part. Though he was too upset to show any sense that he had originally been wary of Seth's display of skills and had forgotten that he was in a battle against someone that could easily claim his life with little effort.

Claire wiped the tears from her face looking up at the other with no emotion. "And they call vampires monsters they have it wrong, its us humans who are the monsters and people like you prove it too me." Claire stood up and turned away from the woman. "Orders or not i have no need to be around a women like you, i can protect myself" Chloe gripped the scabard at her side and began walking foward away from the woman. "Have a good night escort, you may go on with your human life and leave me be" Claire stopped at the end of the alley to look back at chloe then to a ladder on the side of a building, She sighed grabbing the edge of the ladder and pulling her self up to the first step and proceeded upwards.

The look on Seth's face went quickly from a look of disgust to a look of interest. "Sloppy.. You are letting your rage run your body... Yet, i admire the fact you can still come up with a clear strategy while under the state of anger. Going for my neck is a great move, Though your technique flawed." Seth smiled and stepped to the side waiting for the other to come in close range he swiftly brought up his sword arm up as if going to swing his sword toward Rez, But instead Seth brought his elbow down upon his opponents cranium. "I admire your skill you are obviously not apart of the bloods mindless drones, who just jump into battle without a second thought."

Seth smiled quickly shuffling around to face the other. "You are wounded, Shall we find you someone to feed on?" The sword in Seth's hand quickly faded and turned into a mist like substance and quickly dispersed into the air. "I mean that is unless you would like me to actually want me to quit making bruises and start making gashes?" Seth may have been part of the war, and this other clearly having the prowess of the Blood brother of the triad. Things were different the other had nothing to do with the war and Seth rather not be involved in a way they had something in common, They were in a war that was forced upon them whether they wanted to or not. "I suggest you make you decision quick the sound of battle echos through this land at night.."

Seth place his hand against his face and shook his head in disappointment sighing. "Where are my manners i engaged you in battle and never even told you my name, I am Seth and you are?..."

((*eyes widen at the wall* Whoa. You're on a roll xD ))

Rez was about to turn his head to snap back at the arm but found that he had been bonked over the head. He landed, forepaws first on the ground and turned to face Seth once more, though the expression on Seth's face and the change in the mood more than threw Rez off. Never had he faced an opponent who would quickly have a change in heart. While he was still upset, he at least regained enough of his focus and attention to the things that came out of Seth's mouth since Seth made himself appear less hostile. Even more puzzled by the offer of food, or a person, and none had so generously given it to Rez. Of course he had been hungry, otherwise he wouldn't have attacked the group earlier, and such an offer was an enormous temptation despite being angry with Seth. He knew he had better chances of getting what he wanted if Seth helped him, and soon tried to set his desire for retaliation aside.

Rez growled, then licked his teeth as he approached Seth more slowly, but came up to Seth's side and fully expected that they would depart immediately to go find the said meal, "My owners call me Rez." He groaned, thinking about the name. He never was sure if the name was some sort of derogatory word or was an actual normal name.

As Claire reached the top of the ladder, the breeze of the wind rode across the brim of her neck. The moon shone upon her sickly pale skin showing every detail of her eyes and hair. "Great this is all i need wind to carry the sent of blood through town." Claire place her hand over the bottom of her neck gently. "Sometimes i think it would be alot safer if I would have forgiven Seth that night..." A frown flew by Claire's face but just as fast as it came it left and turned into a scowl as a yell escaped her throat "WHAT AM I TALKING ABOUT THIS IS RIDICULOUS, HE ALMOST KILLED ME!" Claire shook her head trying to get the topic off her mind and took a few steps forward.

Before Claire got to far across the roof top of the alley building, The sound of Several Blood hungry chilling voices broke the wonderous silence. as Three Vampires jumped from an opposing roof adjacent to claires to the one she was currently standing on. "Well, Well Look we have her a sickling ripe for the picking." The first Vampire said with a wicked smile on his face not to long after the second one chuckled in "You should have stayed in your house little mouse the big cats are out to night and were hung..." Before the second vampire could finisht he other piped in. "Can we just eat her now? Freaks like her need to die quickly..."

Claire's Entire body shivered for a moment at the other words before the word 'Freak' Was mentioned, Then the silence of the mid night air was broken by Claire clenching her fist and her teeth gritting together. "FREAK!?! DID YOU JUST CALL ME A ..." Claire went silent the sounds of running feet where in the air there were more coming. "You three tell me what clan do you reign from?" The third vampire stepped forward once "We are from the Blood not that it matters your death is near." Claire giggled and then smirked quickly unsheathing her sword and standing in a bushido stance. It was then Claire thought of the other women, what was her name?.. She walked to the edge and peered over still keeping an eye on the others and sure enough she was there still.. What a bother.. "YOU! WOMEN RUN! THERE SWARMING ILL HOLD THEM OFF YOU RUN! ITS ME THEY WANT ANY WAYS!"It was just like Claire to forget someones name in the heat of the moment. Claire looked up and took a few steps backward noticing the vampires willingness to pounce.

"Good thing you told me what clan you are from, that way i can deliver your ashes to your masters when im done with you, I hope you like garlic.." The Vampires quickly dashed forward at claire and within a matter of moments the cold dead bodies of the vampires met the edge of Claires sword and Self combusted into flames the air went stale as there ashes fell to the cold concrete of the roof tops. "You were just grunts.. You sure didnt know how to show a girl a good time.."

Okay, so the girl wasn't going to back down. Chloe just sighs before hearing something up on the roof and hearing Claire yell at her to run.
What the ... This girl didn't know Chloe very well, she never backed down from a fight nor did she run but she had no interest in assisting the girl either, let her prove.. okay, so the girl can handle herself.. Pushing herself away from the wall, Chloe raises an eyebrow and doesn't comment, right now, she just wanted to get to somewhere safe and sleep. She had been up all day..

EVENT: The sent of blood and fallen ashes cause the blood to ensue battle across the city against anyone they consider a foe..


Seth's eyes glanced to the other with a puzzled expression. "Owners? You belong to someone.. That's Strange ive never heard of a vampire belonging to someone." Seth shrugged and began to walk after a few steps he froze, standing in silence as if he was listening to someone, The air seemed different almost stale, it was then the smell of a familiar blood ran across his nose. "Claire..."

Seth looked back towards Rez and frowned. "We must make haste, I have a bad feeling things are about to get bloody follow me ill take you to our blood storage.." The man smiled walking to the wall of the alley placing his hand along the wall and tracing it. "AH! here it is." Seth applied pressure to a spot on the wall the brick, it was like one of those things you see in a movie where the brick sinks into the wall and a small torch lit corridor is revealed. "Oh and i recommend that you try not to show your blood heritage from here on out, The walls have eyes and i don't want to explain why a blood is following me around just yet.."

The man laughed grabbing a torch and slowly making his way down looking back at the other and waiting for him to catch up. "Shall we make our way now?"

The scents in the air slowly filled Ren's nostrils, making him more hungry than he was before. Though he thought either way would be good. Blood would be available in whichever place they went to. But he knew that if he didn't follow Seth, it would most likely be that much more difficult to get what he wanted. He calmed down more as he trotted closer to Seth. However, instead of walking with Seth, Ren moved on ahead of him, excited to finally get a good meal. "If things were this easy with getting blood, I'd have followed you sooner!" a tongue ran over his fangs, thankful for having such an opportunity to take advantage of a prize.

Claire

Claire sighed re sheathing her sword and walking carefully towards the ladder she had previously climbed up, with swift and precise movement she flung her self forward clinging to the bars and preforming half a front flip to land on the ladder perfectly, dislodging her feet she slid down to the bottom and looked at the other. "I may be sick, but that doesn't stop me from being flexible, and good in a fight.. Just means im a bit slow at times." Claire winked and looked up at the sky zoning in on the sounds around her.. "There swarming and i don't think im the only reason anymore, They wouldn't be stupid enough to attack the city would they?"

Claire looked over to chloe and walked to her side and frowned. "You know, not that i want an escort or anything, but it would probably be smarter if we walked in pairs.. who knows what those awful cretins from the blood would do just to feed.." Claire shuddered in disgust and fear, for someone who wished to be a vampire she sure didn't like the idea of being bit or fed on, Almost like the idea of a kid receiving a shot. No actually this was alot worse.. shots couldn't suck every inch of blood from your body..

"Plus im a lonely girl i could use the company rude or not" She giggled grabbing the others hand as she began to walk in focused direction.

Chloe just stares at Claire as if she's crazy as the other girl took her hand, "First of all, yes, if they are desperate enough to feed, they will attack the city.. plus with you taking out those three, whichever clan they came from is not going to be happy.." with a sigh, she rubs her forehead as she walks beside her, "And you would be stupid to walk alone after dark, your body wouldn't last that long in a fight plus by now the scent of your blood has probably been smelt by any hungry vampire in the area.. so I wouldn't be shocked if we get company.."
