Another Newbie?
 

Hi everyone. I'm Anatidae, although you can shorten that however you please. I answer to just about anything. Well, anything within reason that is. As you can probably tell (what with me posting in the Welcome Wagon and all) I'm new here. I've heard some good things about the site (particularly the layering system) so I decided to give it a whirl. :)

Don't mind me. I'll just be plodding through the site, slowly but surely getting used to everything. If any of you are curious about me feel free to ask, I'm really bad at introductory threads.

So how are you doing today?

I'm doing very well thanks. I got an unconditional acceptance to one of my university choices so I'm in a really good mood. :) How are you doing?

Nice. Congratulations on receiving an acceptance from the school. What school and program major is it for?

I'm doing good. Looking forward to tonight since I'll be going to watch Les Mis at the theatre. >w< And since it's Tuesday, I only I have to pay forty percent the normal cost! Hooray for saving money! :P

Thank you :) I'm studying Sociology in Abertday (which is in Dundee) if I decide to take it. I still have three other unis I need to hear back from though. I probably will pick it though just so there's no pressure to get grades this year. :)

Oh exciting! I really hope you enjoy it! :) I've hears some really good things about Les Mis, I haven't seen it yet though. Saving money just makes it even better! :)

Nice. Sociology sounds interesting as do its fellow social sciences. >w< What else did you apply for or are they all sociology related? Uh, where's Abertday and Dundee? :o I'm going to take a wild stab and guess Australia cause Dundee sounds Australian. XD

I hope so too. I've heard many good things about it as well. >w< Another good thing about going on the cheap day is if I end up not liking it, at least I don't feel as bad about going to see it since I didn't pay the full price. ;3

Dundee is in Scotland and Abertay is a part of it. :) I'm not sure what modules are in the first year, I'd have to check the website again. I studied Sociology before at the level before degree and found it really interesting though. :)

True that! I hate paying full price for movie tickets. Luckily I haven't paid and not liked a film in a while. The last film I saw in the cinema was The Campaign and it was surprisingly good. :)
