a bit confused with trades
I wanted to send some money from my mule account, but I don't get how to put them in trade. Are there any instructions or sth? |
It is very easy. :3 1. Click on the trade tab, if you don't know yet. 2. Start a trade - put the user's name that you want to trade with in the box and then click start trade. 3. Check the Cash on Delivery and place the amount of Aurums you would like to trade with your mule. 4. You're done now, go on your mule and accept the trade and you're ready to go! |
No, I wanted to send this amount by my mule and when I've put the amount I wanted to trade, is classifies it as if my mule wanted me to pay this amount. 0_O' nvm, I decided to make it different way. The result still feems to be the one I need. |
That's weird. Try the other option. Not the standard trade. You should also report this in the bug forum. |
Okay, other thing doesn't work either >__> It shows completely different picture on my mules account. |
I have been trading with many users and it is working with me when I send gold directly to them. I think it is just you? Because there also another user that wasn't able to trade just money and it asked me to pay him instead. I guess the only way you can do this is standard trading and add an item to it or something. |
I tried this way as well, but when I looked at my mules trade notification it shoed 0.00 auras there >__>' |
Umm. I can't think of nothing anymore, it is probably a one person bug or something. |
This is too weird. |
I'm trading with Celeste right now and it is working fine for me. |
Standard trade: This is the "normal" trade where one side add in items/gold, the other side accept, then the Original Sender accept again to finalize the trade.
Send items immediately: This is where you input items/gold and click "send". Then the recipient will only need to accept once and the trade is done. Cash on delivery: This is the trade that DEMAND the gold. You input the amount in the gold you EXPECT to receive from the one who receive the trade from you. The recipient then enter the amount of gold that was input by you and send you that gold. |
Thank you Toriki. I'll check it out now. And I have another question about donating. I've donated 2 dollars, but it seems that I have to report/wait till it will convert into runes. Where can I find more information about it? |
|
Thank you, Panda :3 I remember I've seen it before, but I got lost this time :'D Toriki, It still doesn't work. I can't put (equip) money to the trade for some reason... I don't get it. When I click start trade it shows that no money is in the trade 0_O' |
Did you click the revise button afterwards and added it in the top, in your trade box and such?
|
I wonder, did you input comma or period to seperate the gold amount? That might be the cause of the error. Can you tell us step-by-step of what you did during trading process?
|
1. I click the Trade button. 2. I put in the username I want to trade with. 3. In the options I chose Send Items Immediately. 4. Then I put in the cash amount I want to send in the box below the Options sign. 5. Click Offer trade. 6. When I check my pending trades it shows that I've put 0.00 aurum. |
In the aurum offer, did you put in any comma?
|
yes, I did that. |
Try to trade without comma or period.
|
I tried those things as well. It is not like there is a big amount of aurum, but It will annoy me in the future while trying to trade with others D: |
I tested this myself, It isn't broken. So I am wondering if you are putting the aurum amount in the box between the trade windows. That is the wrong box if you are. You need to type in the amount in the box that is in your trade window then hit confirm.

Yeah, it actually helped me. Thank you very much! I was trying to put my aurum amount in another gap. |
I'm so glad! It can be confusing. xD My first trade, I stared at everything and went... 'Hmmmm.' |
I honestly haven't even tried out the trade system yet, so that helped even me. XD
|
Maybe I should put some help information on the page if it's causing this much confusion...
|
Yeah, the first time I tried to trade I was putting my aurum into the other person's box. xD Coda, I don't know if you can do this, but maybe if the other person's aurum/runes could go inside their box? I think that since their aurum/runes are right below the trade options, people are thinking that's where they're supposed to put their money : )
|
It DOES go there on normal trades.
Hmm, here's a thought: If I change the COD label to "Require Payment" it might be more intuitive to people who have never heard of COD before (which is the standard term used in the shipping industry, and also what's used in World of Warcraft), and if I make the aurum/runes boxes there only appear after you've selected this option it would attract less unwanted attention. |
Oh oh oh oh oh!! I think I actually JUST figured it out for real. *headdesk* That little box in the middle is JUST for the CoD trades!!! Now I get it. Hahaha, I'm sorry, I'm an idiot. xDD Yeah, if you make the box just appear once you've selected the CoD option I think that would probably help : ) I don't know if you need to change the title; I personally think it makes sense but if it's confusing people then maybe it needs to be changed : )
LOL I'm just glad I get it now. I thought I undertood it before but I didn't xD |
There, now it appears only when needed. Let's see if this helps people. :)
|
Hee, awesome. You rock, Coda. n.n
|
yay! Now it is a lot less confusing :3 Grazie! |
