Mizuki sighed as he rubbed his eyes giving a slight yawn as he did so. "If your that tired go to bed silly" He heard from his right side. Looking over he looked right to a smiling women who bent over and gave him a disapproving look "I will I have just a few more pages to read for tomorrow" Mizuki siad with a tired smile. This though caused the female to stand upright and lock her arms together "And you know as well as I do that you can read those pages thousands of times but with how tired your mind is you will not retain any information and all this trouble will be for not" She said and Mizuki sighed "Yeah I know..."

Shaking his head he put the book down and stood with a stretch his long braid falling off of his shoulder to land down his back. It was long and landed softly down to mid thigh. Looking to the female he nodded his head "Alright well im off to bed" He said heading towards some stairs on the left side. "Good night Luna And thank you" He said heading up the stairs after a little bow. Luna shook her head as he did it "Its been three years Mizuki...I think you have thanked me enough" She said cleaning a little before turning out the lights and fallowing.

Mizuki sat on his bed in the dark as he thought of everything. It was not that long ago that he didnt have a bed to sit on or a warm house to be in. No it was a harsher fate back then. It was shocking to him how something so grand could go so wrong over a simple thing. Mizuki shook his head. There was no sense in thinking of such things. The past made a person and Mizuki was a good one. At least he thought so.

Moving down he laid on back as he hummed lightly to himself. Tomorrow was a brand new day and new things could happen. Something better could come from that day and that was the only thing he thought of as he fell asleep.

The fallowing day brought sunshine and birds singing. Not only that it brought a squeeling Luna into his room. Shooting right up he panted "What!? Whats wrong? Whos dead?..." Mizuki began as Luna jumped onto his bed her short raven locks bouncing as she did "No one silly guess what I bought for us?" She said with a happy grin.

This was when Mizuki realized the female had her arms behind her back and not once had he seen her hands. "I have no idea but if its not a sleeping pill you can get out of my room" He said with a groan as he rubbed his head before looking at her "No its better!" She all but yelled as she handed over a case from behind her back.

Taking it Mizuki turned it over and looked at it. Reading his heart all but stopped and his eyes grew "You have got to be kidding me..." He said looking at the box "Is this really...." Though he was cut off from Lunas scream "ROADS OF MYTHICA!" She said throwing her hands into the air. Mizuki smiled "Wow...." "Thats not all though!" Luna said with a smile "I got the special collectors addition! The last two they had!" She said with a smile "It allows us special characters that no one else can have" Luna said.

Mizuki frowned a little "What do you mean by that" He asked and she smiled "Here look" Take the box she opened it and took out a little book and flipped to a page where to began to read "For special collectors boxes we have something special for the extra cash. Never before used races will appear on each disk. Though only two and these two are the only two of their kind in the entire game. No two races repeat of the special promo characters. So pick wisely for once its picked you cant go back" Luna read and Mizuki smiled "Well lets hope we get what we want then" He said "Now get out so I can get dressed so we can play" Mizuki said shaking his head as she all but ran from the room.

Thalion sighed heavily before kicking the hunk of metal he had been working on an regretting that action mere seconds afterwards. "Damned thing!" He finally blurted out before giving up on it for today. Rubbing his forehead he finally decided it was time to call it a day. Felix said something about wanting to show him something or whatever... he had just gotten back from some championship somewhere. What was it again, oh yeah some grand pvp match from some game he played. Felix spent way too much time on those things.

Leaving the shop, the only job he had after he failed at keeping the one he got some odd years ago, he started down the street to the apartments where Felix was rooming at. He barely managed to get one knock on the door before Felix dragged him in. "You! Sit, and don't question anything just hang with me on this crazy idea for a moment." Not like Thalion had a choice as the other seemed to keep talking.

"Remember I went out of town for that game thing that you said was stupid and a waste of time? Well my team came in first!" He seemed excited about this little fact. "And... this means something to me?" Felix waved off Thalions comment as he went on. "That is does, it means that you are going to be playing this game with me." He said holding out a game box before he started up again. "But before that you have homework, your off tomorrow so don't go trying to say you don't have free time."

With that Felix handed over a small booklet, a guide on the game and its functions as well as the classes and races and weaknesses and yep this was homework. "Wait who said I agreed to this? You know I can't play these games worth anything, besides its even got that pvp you always talk about.. I'm going to be slaughtered."

"No thats why you have the champion pro with you duh! Now you get home and get reading, you remember how to do that right?" Seemed like he wasn't winning this conversation. "My computer isn't-" "Took care of that." "Wait you broke into my apartment!?" Felix held up a key before shaking his head. "You lose these all the time, I think I have like six to your place."

Though with that Felix added that the headset worked now and he better be on or he was going to go to his place and make him be on. Either way he rushed him out the door and said he'd talk to him tomorrow and expected him to pick something he might like doing seeing as the game was limiting you to one character.

After Thalion got back home he flipped through the pages briefly before groaning a bit. "This thing is thicker then some of the college books I had good lord.." Listing off all the gods, the bonuses and anything else you could think of. He did try reading some of it, knowing Felix he was going to try to quiz him on it over the phone.

Though he ended up falling asleep in the process hardly understanding most of what the pages were saying seeing as he didn't often play games, only when Felix dragged him into it. Though morning came all too early as he gave up ignoring the phone for the fifth time knowing who it was.

"Alright I'm up!" He said answering the phone as Felix was on the other end. "Finally, you'd sleep your whole day off away if I let you" "Indeed I would.... I wonder why." He had to drop the college classes just to keep up with his work, and seeing as it was a decent pay he couldn't complain too much... "Now get on and get on mumble so we can talk there without killing my phone bill." With the Felix hung up. "Demanding much .. " None the less it was better to give in for now and just say he didn't like the game after a little bit.

Mizuki cracked his neck as he sat down at his computer. Looking up and over it he looked to Luna who sat on the side "Okay lets see what this game has to offer!" The game itself took awhile to download but when it was over it was a meer second before it booted like nothing. "What kind of characters did you get?" He heard before looking up "Hang on I got..." looking down Mizuki clicked and there it was "I got a Magical high elf or a master dwarf" He said with a little frown "you?"

Luna looked up "I got a Dragonoid or an Orc barbarian" She said laughing a little "Can you see me as an orc?" She said causing Mizukis head to shake "No but I can see you as a dragonkin" He said with a nod "Me on the other hand im all about the magic" With that Mizuki clicked on the high elf. The next stage was to build your character. With the pack they bought they could make their character anyway they could think of. So Mizuki made his to his liking. Pale skin, long ears, long white braid and light lavender eyes. Everything screamed Mizuki.

After setting up the profiles it was time to test it "Well are we ready?" He heard Luna and Mizuki nodded "Yes lets start shall we" He said with a smile. Placing the headset on he jumped a little as the laser zoomed over his eyes. "Thats new" He said blinking. The instrucktions of the game were simple. Play with your controls and keep your mind open. Leaning back in his chair Mizuki watched as right before his eyes the world loaded.

It was like he was there, standing in that feild with the sun on him. Hearing the birds sing and the feeling of the wind pushing his hair about. Mizuki couldnt believe what was happening. It was like he was actually in the game. "This is weird" He said to himself as he looked around noticing his staff in hand and white mixed lavender robes hung from his body.

Felix has installed the game the day before knowing that Thalion would never waste the time to do so. Ok so maybe going to Thalion's apartment was taking it a bit far but Felix swore the guy needed to have a little fun. At the least he couldn't complain that there was nothing to do. There would be plenty with this game. Though the races seemed a bit limited at best and there were only basic classes. "This is the game you've been hyped about? It doesn't seem that much better then .. what was that last one." Felix right away spoke up over the mic. "Its a whole lot better! Ok so the collector editions were better but I figured if you played it for over a week I'd try to hunt one down or something." Good point not to waste the money. "Besides whats wrong with the basics? I have full access to the races and classes and I'm going to be a nord barbarian." Felix seemed proud of this fact.

".. so a over sized human with a giant weapon? Thats your pick heh.." Felix nodded on the other end not that Thalion could see this but he went on. "Well lets hear what your going with, I at least expect that you read the character reaction section... the controls should be similar to the other game I got you to play." Thalion sighed a little as he was still debating what to make, also as a bonus for the ones who won the match and were able to grant access to a friend of theirs there was a added option that the friend would start in the same area. Though this meant that whatever character he made was starting in the nord area.. where ever that was. Though from what he gathered most of the starting zones were near one another within the first ten levels or so.

"Ok fine... whatever " He said clicking a few things before setting up a character appearance and rolling his eyes a bit. "There done happy?" "You never said what you made though!" Thalion smirked a little before speaking up. "Guess you'll have to wait and find out." "Why do I get the feeling I know already... and you know thats a bad idea giving where we are going to start right?"

"Eh its a game, whats the worse that could happen?" With that he waited for Felix to enter the game first before hitting the enter button. Though the scanning process from the headset seemed different. He had used one of these before but still. Maybe it was a upgrade or something? Didn't matter as after a few moments the world seemed to come to life though he was really regretting the choice he had made about now.

"Ok ok your right.. bad idea." He said wincing at the light. "just .. ow.. thats not right they should have tat as a warning in that book you gave me." Well this would suck till nightfall when he could see properly. Though that's when Felix laughed before speaking up. "Well I tried to tell you-" Though the last words after that seemed to crack up a bit as Felix tried to speak again. "Somethings wrong.." The world seemed to be glitching, probably to be expected as people were logging in. The game was expected to need a bit of work still.

"Lets - ju- " He gave up on trying to talk. He was going to say that they should just hang here till things calmed down on the server end. Though that seemed to be when the server crashed and a sudden jolt ran through the headset to anyone connected to the game. About the similar moment that a massive world wide blackout happened.

((figured it was safe to do that so they actually were in the game xD it might take them a few to notice that they are really in there/the world around them was turned into it))

Mizuki was walking through a wooded area. His first thought logging on was to go and find Luna. At least then he could be with some one that he knew. With that thought he headed towards the mountain from the wooded area that he was in. It seemed logical to him. Sighing he rounded a tree as he heard a roar of something ahead. He was on guard the moment the sound reached his ears.

Slowly he peeked around a tree and before him he spotted a large dragon. Black in color with a blue hue and white spikes it was a sight to see. Watching he saw as the beast lifted its head and sniffed the air. Suddenly a high pitched whine sounded as a flash of light fallowed with his name. "MIZUKI YOU FOUND ME!" Was all he heard before he was on the ground with an excited female over him. "Yes it would seem that I did" He said with a nod s he looked to the now human Luna. Even being in a human shape she was far from it.

A long tail thrashed about as the female stood. This was accompanied by scales and claws and finaly horns atop her head. Mizuki stood "Not bad not bad" Luna smiled "I like it!" She said bounding up and down "Well thats all that matters then isent it?" He said getting a nod in return.

Just as he was about to say something there seemed top be a static noise before an over all glitch that fuzzed his vision "Whats happening?" He asked Luna turning to look at her "To many people on the server" She said looking around as different things glitched and pictures broke. "We should log out for now" She said and Mizuki nodded.

After a moment or two he looked over "I cant log out it wont let me" He said and Luna nodded "I know...thats just weird" She said lightly. Just as the words left her mouth the ground under them shook and shuddered "What on earth-" Though his words were cut off as the world around him blackened and the two fell to the ground.

Around the world the same thing happened to many people. The game glitched and power was stopped. Though something else seemed to happen as players couldnt log out.

Groaning Mizuki turned his head before sitting up right suddenly with a gasp of air. "What the hell..." He said as he looked around and realzied the time was late. Stars shone above him and the moon gave an eary glow to objects about them. Looking over he gave Luna a shake "Wake up!" He said and listened as she groaned and moved as well "What on earth happened?" He asked Luna and she shrugged "Your guess is as good as mine" She said as they both stood.

"Hey you alive?" A bit of a kick towards Thalion as Felix was trying to see if it was worth his time. "Damn it you better not be dead..." Though a slight groan from the other answered Felix's question. "What the hell... my heads killing me... Did you get the name of that truck?" Felix smirked a bit before speaking. "No but I got that guys number you slept with, maybe you shouldn't drink that much." "wait what?!" That got his attention well enough as Thalion got up before wishing he hadn't moved that quickly.

"ugh.. is .. whats going on? Is this normal?" Felix shook his head a little "I don't think so... I dont or rather can't access any menus and logging out seems a no go. Let alone everything feels.. er real?" Thal gave him a bit of a look before shaking his head a little. "Real.. right.. " Though looking around he quickly was reminded of this races light sensitivity.

"Ok... its worse then last time." "Well thats not good.. cause we kind of have company..." Felix said pointing towards a small group of what seemed to be wolves from the looks of it. Felix already had his two handed axe at the ready as he waited to see what was going to happen. "So if this is real.. dying is a bad idea isn't it?" Felix nodded a bit. "Well before the character just died and you made a new one.. but now I think rules have changed."

The pack leader of the wolves seemed to dash forward before the others charged in as well. Felix took care of a few before Thalion got the duel blades drawn and moved forward slaying down the lead of the charge. Though this was hardly the end of their problems as more seemed to come out of the darkness in the snow covered forest.

This pack was followed by a much larger wolf, this one was pure white and had horns on the top of its head as well as a line of ice blue fur running from the horns down its back. "Um.. something like that is not suppose to be in this area... run!"

Felix said before turning and running, Thalion followed that idea before the two ended up cornered in a pass that was covered in rubble so they could not pass. "Oh great!" Felix said turning about the same time Thalion did. "Well.. it was nice knowing you heh." Thalion laughed a bit finding this funny. "Like hell im dying here. You dragged me into this and no matter what the hell is going on-" He said before darting forward and taking out a few wolves in the process. "I'm not dying in this bitter ass cold area to some mutt with a bad temper."

Moving he avoided a charging wolf as Felix moved to try to go after Thal so he didn't get killed. He was going straight for the lead wolf as he met the beast half way about the time his blades sparked a bit of fire and caused the beast to flinch in it's attack. The halt in the attack gave him plenty of pause as he avoided another smaller wolf and slashed downward driving a blade against the lead wolf's neck.

After the best seemed to fall the smaller wolves retreated and the two of them stood there for a moment. Felix shuddered a little before laughing suddenly. "Well... heh... um.. so I was going to question is boss monsters were real.. that answered me. But what did you?" "I never got to ask you why there was a fire tree in the skills.. " Felix shook his head a little laughing again. "So .. your skill tree was glitched? man.. what in the world is going on here... " "I dunno but its freezing can we go now please? Let alone my eyes are killing me..."

Mizuki and Luna looked about before walking. "Okay so...according to everything the systems running fine but I cant access my menu at all" Luna said with a frown. This made Mizuki frown a little "Hey...remember that book I gave you to read a little while ago. The one about those kids playing a game but then something happened and their minds got stuck in the game until it was beaten?" He said looking towards her just in time to see the nod "I think this maybe what is happening" He said lightly.

"Wait wait so your telling me that we are stuck in a game? More like our minds are stuck in a game?" Luna asked and got a nod of the head from Mizuki. This in turn made Luna laugh "Oh yeah so if this is like you say this would really hurt" She said taking out a dagger and cutting the palm of her hand. After a few seconds she cursed "Shit that hurt!" She said looking down at the blood dripping from her hand.

Wait so if she felt the pain like she would if it actually happened does that then mean that it did happen and what Mizuki saying was right? No it couldnt be "Wait...so...this is no longer a game?" Luna asked and Mizuki shook his head "No...it seems now its a fight to the death" He said "At all costs we must stay alive...if its anything like the book...we die here....we die" He said sighing.

After that the conversation on where to go and what to do came about. It was decided that they needed to practice and level up if they were to make it to the end of this game. So killing all the deamons along the way the two of them made it through the forest to the other side of the mountains. By this time it was approaching night fall and the area began to get colder. So...it would seem they headed north.

Looking about Mizuki heard a noise. Grabbing Luna he forced the female back into the trees "There is some one out there" He said lightly and he watched as he eyes glared a little as she gave a nod. It was time to take out the first obstical in the game. Listening he heard the foot falls of two players. This was going to be interesting.

Hiding from his place in the trees he watched as a drow and a barbarian made it through the first part of trees. An interesting combination to have but who was he to judge. Watching as they headed down the path way Mizuki began to go over the spells he remembered reading about. Yep it was time to have some fun.

Casting his first spell he send some douple gangers of some medium sized dragons into the trees. Giving them the color of dark moss green he gave them the look of forest beasts. "Now...lets see how good this goes" He said lightly to Luna at his side before he sent the three beasts towards the two males. "As soon as they are dead we attack" He said with a smile getting a nod. When it came down to games there was no better team then himself and Luna and the fact that they had characters unique in the game made it all the more fun!

Still recovering from the wolves the two were hardly ready for a second fight this soon. "Aren't there... you know others?" Thalion had brought up the question that was on Felix's mind. "There has to be, there were the preorders and the rest of the winning groups from the event I went to..." There had been three winning teams, each team being of at least five members while others had over that to a max of seven. "So where are they? we haven't seen anything besides ... whats that word you like using mobs." Thalion was picking fun at Felix's terms again.

"Not sure... I mean I know Neimi was suppose to meet me out here, she knew what I was going to make. Knowing her she made a human or something so she probably had a heck of a walk to get to this area... um well that was before the surge or whatever happened..." He looked down at the ground thinking on it. Knowing his team mate she was a cleric ... there might be no way she made it this far if the rules to the game changed.

Though that was when Thalion stopped having heard something. "Hm?" Thalion waved his hand at him trying to keep Felix from talking. "Thought I-" That was cut off as one of the three beasts made itself known and lunged forward nearly landing a blow on Felix. Both fighters avoided that dragon though the other two soon made themselves known. "I thought you said there wasn't dragons this early!" Thalion said barely avoiding another swipe from one of the newer dragons.

"There isn't suppose to be, rules have changed. Just don't-" He started as he swung his weapon landing a decent hit on one of the beasts side as it let out a roar and avoided the follow up strike from Felix. "don't get hit." "Noted.. like I couldn't figure that out." Thalion said almost sounding cross but avoiding another strike from one of the beasts.

"Better idea we need to run, three is" "Shut up and stop explaining everything." Thal said half shoving Felix. He didn't need to spell out the obvious, this wasn't a game anymore and they needed to watch what they faced. Three dragons even of this size was a risky gamble at their power level. Well he was guessing there was still some sort of level involved. Maybe not.

Though the two ended up cornered at a rock face. "Mr. pvp champion and we're going to get eaten by dragons... you-" Thalion started as the three dragons walked closer. Though they backed off as a sudden bright bolt landed at their feet. Though the bright light did make the dragons back off Thalion was not nearly as happy to see it as Felix. "We seem to have some luck after all." Felix said as a young girl slid down the rock side and stumbled a bit before standing next to Felix.

"You looked like you needed help. You might be the pvp god but you have not a clue when it comes to pve." She laughed before spinning her mace once and launching another light bolt at the beasts feet to keep them at bay and blinded for a short while. "I thought you were dead to be honest, its good to see you Neimi."She nodded happily. "Yeah I kind of missed you too, though you two are a odd group. The last drow I saw was dead, theres quite a disadvantage at being out and about during the day without being a high enough level to have a resistance to it." "found that out... snow hardly helps." She laughed agreeing with that.

This was when one of the dragons started forward again as Felix met it head on and drove his axe head into the beasts frontal chest area. Just missing a claw swipe from the creature. "Well thats one down." He breathed out before jumping back before the other two seemed to close in. Neimi squeaked a little as one of the beasts charged forward though Thalion got its attention at the least to keep it from her. In the process of the dragon switching targets it quickly slammed its tail into Thalion and forced him against the rock wall near by.

"Ok... confirmed.. that hurt a lot." He said wincing as he tried shaking the blow off as quickly as possible. This reminded him of the sparring sessions he use to do. Being short had a few disadvantages. Ok not overly short but compared to most of the guys he hung out with he was shorter then them. Probably odd for a elf to be short unless it was certain races.

"Hey try that glitch again, they look like fire might be their weakness." Felix suggested as he stood between the third one and Neimi. She would never live through a blow like that. "No good, I'm not sure how i did it last tim-" The dragon quickly charged again before opening its mouth and spitting some odd goo from it. Though once it hit the ground Thalion cringed at the thought of that hitting anything but ground. It seemed to be acid.

Neimi started to chant a few words before she managed to form a bubble around the other two. "There now hurry up and kill them!" She felt herself low on energy. Felix quickly disposed of the one he was facing off against as a medium sized dragon wasn't much to a nord barbarian. Though Thalion had to get close enough to hit the damned thing. Avoiding another spit attack as the beast lunged forward to try to bite he dodged that and quickly got a fatal strike into the dragon's neck. Following the first strike with the second blade through the gland sack located in the creatures neck.

All three dragons finally dead Felix moved to lean against the stone wall as he panted a bit. "Well.. that was fun.." Thalion glanced at him before shaking his head a little. "Fun? Your definition and mine must vary." He breathed out before wincing a bit form the impact against the wall not too long ago. Seeing as they had a moments break it was a good idea to take it as he sat near where Neimi was still by a tree. "We were nearly killed twice within what a hour or two span? I don't call that fun. I could have been enjoying my day off but no." Felix started laughing at the complaints before Neimi spoke up. "This the none gamer friend you always talk about?" Felix nodded still trying to catch his breath before anything else happened. "Aye.. a wiz with his hands though, can repair about anything." Thinking on that they might be thankful of that skill if this was the 'real' world.

Mizuki watched as everything before him took place and as one by one of his dragons fell to the ground. "Interesting" He said as another person joined them "So...a cleric, barbarian and a drow..." He said looking to Luna with a smile. "Should we continue?" He asked her and all he got was a smile before she moved and was out of the tree before he could even say anything else. "I will take that as a yes then" He said with a shake of his his.

Mizuki then moved and left the cover of the tree. Falling to the ground he landed softly on cloth clad feet. One good thing about being a high wood elf...the trees were home and the ground was silent if you knew how to work it and Mizuki knew how to.

He was silent as he moved through the trees. Pulling his braid over his shoulder he placed the hood on his head so all others saw was a pail mouth and a long braid while he saw everything clearly. Staff in hand he figured it was about time to scare the three of them. Nothing like a good scare in the morning.

Walking slowly out of the trees with his staff in hand Mizuki walked into the clearing infront of the rock face where the three of them stood. Here he took a couple steps then stopped. Listening to the conversation before him he just stood there and waited to be noticed. This didnt take the three of them to notice.

Mizuki stood there and watched in laughter as the three right away gathered weapons and stood in a deffensive matter. Okay time for the scare. Stepping his leg out he planted it onto the ground just as he rested his staff on the ground. At the same time a large roar shook the area around them and Mizuki smiled as the ground shook when Luna landed down behind him with her wings arched high in the air with her tail thrashing about and her head coming up to the side to roar at the three as Mizuki placed a pale hand on the massive head.

"Well well well...." He said in a soft silky voice "What do we have here?" He asked as he rubbed the pale hand down the females head "Seems to me we have some out of range of their home lands" He said tilting his head lightly "Should we correct that?" Mizuki said lightly

Oh course they weren't going to get a break why would they. Neimi flinched as the dragon roared again. "Oh great.. collectors." Felix sighed a little. "Well I'd like to see you try it." Neimi punched Felix in the arm as she glared at him. "You might have been mr hot shot during the matches but things are different now there is no restart button.." She hissed at him as he took the hint.

Thalion stood hardly caring about the dragon or who the hell this guy thought he was with his pet. "So what we going to stand here and watch the guy try to kill us or are we going to make the first move? Personally after dealing with wolves and dragons I'm about fed up with games for a life time." Felix smirked a little. "You would be, admit it this is better then whatever you would have been wasting your time with on your day off." "I dunno.. watching porn can be entertaining.." Felix blinked a little he should expect a smart ass answer like that. "Is that-" "No...I'd still be fucking asleep for starters..."

"Guys.. bicker like a married couple after we get rid of the wood elf and his dragonkin." Neimi said before braving a step forward. "What do you want anyway? Your rather bold to be going up against a group of three, let alone a group with a healer. I'm assuming the dragons before were yours? nice trick." She was on guard and she wasn't sure what these two wanted really. Though they were a bit cornered still.

"Right right..." Felix started weapon still in hand. "well if they want a fight so be it. Even after the previous fights and with a drow thats half handicapped in the light I think we can win." Thalion glared a little at Felix. "thanks for pointing out that weakness there.."

"Hmmm...." Mizuki hummed lightly as he looked at the group before him before the female took it upon her self to speak. "Well...if I am not mistaken this is PvP....and if it is the way that its supposed to be then in order to win players must kill players" He said with a little nod of his head as the feamle spoke once more. "Yes they were mine...such a simple yet effective spell" He said with a smile his lips curling a little as he spoke.

Mizuki loved games. It was the one place in this world where he didnt have to be himself. In the game he was stroong and somebody...in the real world barely even knew of his name. Mizuki tilted his head a little "Experiance comes from another apponate not the monsters that litter the feild" He said with a smile.

This was when A flash of light came from behind him until Luna joined him at his side her tale slashing side to side as he wings folded on her back. Cracking her neck she gave a whine "Come on master im bored" She said slightly looking to him "Alright alright...have fun" He said before Luna smile and with a simple nod of his head she was off. Heading towards the three it was her plan. With one well aimed attack the three were split and the battle was on.

Spell after spell Mizuki did simple yet affective spells. Ones to bend the rock and shadows around them. Reaching, winding, grabbing he made sure not to let anyone get near him while all the while paying attention to Luna making sure the female was alright as a grunt of pain reached his ears.

"Neimi stay back" Was Felix's order as the dragonkin managed to split the group. "I'll distract the lizard girl you deal with it's partner, our better suited for it." Thalion was glad Felix thought so, he was unsure about this idea. Little choice they had. Was this how things were going to be every time they encountered another player? This seemed pointless just to kill everyone in your path.

Either way he was glad he had stayed in shape all of these years. Sure the race he was seemed to help with that speed and ability to dodge, but most of it was from his training some odd years back. When he could afford such things. Getting to the mage? No this was a different class, he wasn't sure but Neimi mentioned a collector... so a limited class then.

Either way getting to the target was a challenge as he kept having to avoid spells and make sure he didn't have the dragonkins attention as well. He finally got annoyed enough as a cluster of roots wrapped around him for a moment. "Enough already!" He growled before the roots seemed to spark into fire and he broke their hold.

This allowed him to get close enough to strike the mage though he paused as the caster backed up again and the hood moved back down. Was that.. there was no way. He hesitated, that was his mistake. But what if this was? That was over seven years ago. He had looked he had no idea. That or his mind was playing tricks on him. Also possible.

Mizuki growled as the drow seemed to leave his attention on him. Great that was one thing he didnt really need. Casting a spell he watched as roots from a near by tree came fourth and soon began to wrap around the males feet. Though the shout caught him unaware as he had limited time to back up as a swing to the head was avoided.

Though as he moved sharply to avoid contact his hood moved and fell down to rest on his back. Pointed ears dipped down as light lavender eyes looked out towards the drow. Growling the staff in his hand moved. With a quick movement and a chant the head of his staff rammed into the males stomach sending him back is a bolt of ice.

Mizuki stood there panting as he looked to the male infront of him with his brows dipped down. His ears fallowed as he looked to the male infront of him. There was something that he couldnt place his finger on. Something about this drow that struck a cord in him. Shaking his head Mizuki couldnt afford to think of that as he was already casting another ice spell.

It was wasn't it? There was no way this wasn't but if he didn't say anything. If he was wrong. He had already paid the price of hesitating. That last shot on top of the blow still recovering from the dragon. To say the least he was in pain. But he couldn't just blindly attack the other if it was who he thought.

"Mizuki?" He had to know, if he was wrong he'd try to recover from this. But he'd never forgive himself if he kept attacking and it was Mizuki. "Thal what the bloody hell are you-" Felix started before avoiding a attack and having to focus on the dragonkin again.

Neimi started to move but stopped. She'd have to trust that Felix's friend knew what he was doing. Though Thalion never dared to move, he had righted himself from the blast and that was it. Please be him, Thalion was almost praying he wasn't wrong. But to what end? He had failed Mizuki, he had looked everywhere and if he was here...the other didn't have to leave before he told him that!

Mizuki was about to cast another spell but the mention of his name from the drow made him stop. How on earth did the male know his name? Still in an attack mode he looked the drow over. There was things about the male that made his mind click but he couldnt place a finger on it. Who was this male? Then it struck him and his eyes widened. No....it couldnt be...

Taking a step back Mizukis next words stuttered "Th-thalion?" He asked lightly. No...this was a blast from the past. As he got his answer his mood changed from shock to anger "YOU BASTARD!" He shouted before darting forward and attacking the male with his staff. Mizuki knew that his hand to hand was nothing compaired to his magic but at the same time his anger took over.

Striking left right and center Mizuki began to yell at the male "You asswhole! After all these years!" He said striking again and watching as the male blocked it "Out of all the people in this world it had to be you!" He said as he landed a blow to the males head forcing him down to the ground.

Mizuki didnt attack again no instead he gave a whistle and jumped back as Luna changed her attack to a running charge changing her form before picking Mizuki up. In her current energy state she wouldnt last long in this form but enough to get them away from where they were. The whistle meant leave so leave they did.

Landing in the forest a little ways away Mizuki leaned on a tree panting as Luna sat on the ground "What the hell was that about?" Luna asked and Mizuki growled "A ghost from my past" He said lightly causing her head to tilt. Shaking his head he moaned "Thats a story for later right now we need to get out of here" He said with a nod pushing off of the tree to start walking.

Yep he saw this reaction coming from miles away. "Mizuki wai-" He was going to try to defend himself but he didn't. He could have he could have stopped the other but he didn't. To think he ran across the one person he had accepted he never would see.

Though as quickly as the fight had happened the two were gone again. Wincing as he forced himself up before taking Felix's hand that was offered to help him up. He seemed a bit defeated really, the thought never dawned on him what he would do or say to the other. His former best friend. He could think of a million things they had gotten into. All in the past.

"Are you crazy? He could have-" "But didn't.. I would have deserved it if he did." He breathed out before shaking his head. "Take it you knew him?" Neimi asked as she walked over casting a small healing spell to cover any healable damage. "Well come on staying here is asking for trouble. We need a town for supplies. Food won't be easy to come by in the forests here."

They seemed to agree on this. Though it hurt more then he expected. He didn't want that to be the last time. He had to make things right even if that meant the other killing him in the process. He had pleaded with Mizuki not to leave before, the other insisted he had to find a job to help with rent. Back then Thal was still in college. A year before he dropped out.

Mizuki and Luna walked knowing that they couldnt stop "If the area is anything like the previous game we should be reaching the northern village soon" Mizuki said looking to Luna who seemed to be dragging her feet. "I really hope so I dont know how much longer I can walk" She said in a little whine causing Mizuki to smile.

A little longer was all it took as they came through the last layer of trees. Walking through them the village came into sight and just in time to as the sun began to get lower and lower. Night was approaching and they needed a place to stay "Come on...the inn for a rest but we leave first light" He said and the female smile "Oh hell yes...a bed" Was all she said and Mizuki nodded "A bath" This caused Luna to smile as she shook her head.

Mizuki and Luna walked into town and headed right for the inn. Together they had enough gold to get a room with a bath chamber and two beds with enough left over for something to eat. Heading to the room Mizuki sighed as they entered. Walking over he placed his staff on a bed as well as his cloak. Stertching he smiled "Time for that bath!" He said looking to Luna who all but fell onto the bed grumbling something about sleep.

They had walked for hours, Neimi seemed to know where she was going having come past this way already. Though as it got darker Felix smirked a little. "Least you can't complain about the light anymore." He laughed a bit after. "No cause I'm already blind..." Thalion sighed a bit still trying to grasp that Mizuki was right there. Had it been his fault all those years ago? They both applied to the same job he had no idea Mizuki had applied there. Yet when he got the job he tried to tell Mizuki staying for free was fine, it was a decent job and with them both in classes it wasn't like they had a outrageous rent or anything.

Yet all the while he had insisted he look for a place, after a week he had packed his things and moved out. For a while Thalion tried to locate him or find out where he went but he had dropped his college classes and all but vanished. No one had seen him anywhere. After a few years he gave up. He had to. Heck he had to give up his own classes after the place he was working fired him for some bull report from some co workers that had a thing against him.

He had stayed silent as they seemed to be nearing the village. At the least if they were attacked they had the advantage of having Thalion being the race he was. Only a idiot would attack certain races in the dark. Though at the moment he might not be that much of a threat. Either way by the time they got to the town Felix stopped dead. "Um.. those wolves didn't exactly have gold on them..."

Neimi sighed before pulling out a coin purse. "You are worthless Felix.. a barbarian with no gold, really... kill some player or something and steal it from them next time." Not that she got hers that way but still. It seemed in villages was the only place safe from people killing one another. There were some other players here from the looks of it but the guards kept a close eye on everything going on. Probably a good thing.

"This almost makes me want to visit a dark elf city." Felix smirked as Neimi seemed to question him as they started towards the inn to see if there was rooms. "Simple they take men hostage... I could live with that." "By the... " She sighed before looking at Thalion who seemed amused by this exchange. "Oh and what do you have to say? Smirking over there you must like that idea too, your both pervs.."

"I never said a thing, I think I'd rather stay away myself. Not everyone wants to be chained and whipped thanks." Felix thought on that a bit before laughing weakly as they got to the counter. "You did read a bit didn't you... yeah thats .. um never mind."

They seemed to be in luck there was two rooms, one Neimi could have and the other the two guys would share. They could have saved a little gold and gotten a room together but Neimi said he was not going to listen to Felix snore all night. She had done so when they were at the matches and that was not happening again.

After they were settled in the rooms Felix yawned before flopping on one of the beds. This was when Thalion stood up and started towards the door. "Where are you going?" Thalion shrugged a little. "A drink. I'm assuming they have something strong enough to make me forget I gave up my day off for this shit." Though it was quite the story to tell going over it in his head.

going down the stairs there was a small assortment of races here. Human, dwarf, beast kinds. There were a few elven races as well but he wasn't sure on them exactly. He wished he had read more of that book now. Maybe he could bother Neimi later to get some more information or something. It seemed like they would be here ... a while.

Though this was when he noticed someone. It seemed that he couldn't get away from the other now. Mizuki was sitting off at a far table eating from the looks of it. He could maybe take this chance to- no. Things were bad enough running into him once today. A second time was asking for the other to try and kill him. He tried to ignore that he saw the other as he went to the counter and got a drink.

To admit he liked this part of the world already, no id checks and there was no questioning if the stuff was that fake crap or not. Some of the light weights back home would have already been out from the first spit of this stuff. Though this was a bad habit he had picked up a few years back. Around when he stopped looking for his lost friend. Now it was the way he escaped his own mind. He had a mid level job, no college and lived in some hole of a apartment. Heck now he was stuck in this world as a race that most hated and with a weakness in the sunlight till he built that up enough. Not to mention the last person he thought he would ever see was here.

Mizuki washed and bathed for a while. As he left the room he sighed the moment he heard Lunas snoring. Groaning he put his cloak on and grabbed his staff. Heading down to the tavern he thought it would be good to eat something.

Grabbing a simple meal of bread and meat he made his way to the far left hand corner. Mizuki kept to himself most of the time. Going through what he did the out spoken man he was had left and in a hurry. Keeping his head down Mizuki listened to everything around him as he silently ate. Taking a moment he paused his eating to look up as he grabbed his drink. Though his reach stopped as he noticed the drow enter and grab a drink.

Mizuki sighed. Seeing him once meant now that he would be seeing alot of the male didnt it? Right now that seemed to be the one thing that was happening. Mizuki shook his head for he knew what was coming. He should of knowen that this was coming. Mizuki did thats why he ran when he first realized who the drow was.

Mizuki didnt know what to do...he knew the talk he was coming and he didnt want it to happen but it was going to. Finishing his meal Mizuki decided to take the first step. Standing he picked up his staff that was against the hall and headed for the door. He made a point to brush Thalions back as he walked past the male and out the door.

He was making it a point to avoid the other. He knew how Mizuki was when he didn't want to talk. There was no point in trying, not at the moment anyway. So instead he kept his attention on whatever he had ordered. Though he was a bit disappointed that it wasn't stronger. No wonder the dwarf not far from here was complaining. He did recall that from one of Felix's rants about different races. Though personally he thought he picked a good choice for his own. It matched his normal personality really well at least.

Either way he had no intention of talking to the other or so he thought. Mizuki seemed to have other plans as he brushed past him before leaving. That was as good a hint as any to follow. He was expecting to be yelled at or lord knew what else. Either way he was expecting to be chewed out and then for the other to storm off again. But Mizuki had the right to do so. Maybe he should have looked harder or something and things would be different.

Sighing he finished the drink before standing and following the path Mizuki had taken. Once outside he noticed the other walking off a little. You know whats coming so why bother.. he kept telling himself as he followed the other till Mizuki stopped finally. There was that awkward silence that he hated. It didn't matter who it was with he hated it.

"Ok out with it, you already called me a bastard, what else do you have on your mind that you want to say." There was no point in trying to say his side of the story unless Mizuki asked for it. He knew the other well enough to know he was hard headed and a bit blind sighted when it came to certain things.

"Or if you feel like striking me again go for it. I'm not going to block it. Maybe your right and I am a bastard. Its not like I planned to run into you after all of these years." He clenched a fist finally before speaking again. "Hell I had no idea what happened to you. I looked everywhere I asked everyone and no one had seen you." Well so much for him not saying his five cents on the matter.

"Every damn day I expected to run into you somewhere or expected a phone call or hell for you to come back. I never changed addresses for that very reason. Why the hell did you leave and then call me the bastard? I told you that you could stay." Ok so maybe that drink was kicking in a bit, speaking his mind was one thing but he normally didn't speak it this much.

"Anyway thats all I had to say, you wanted to talk so start talking. Or if you wanted to drag me out here just to kill me an thin out your competition go for it. Hell if I care."

Mizuki stood there with his back towards the male as he listened to everything that was being said. Yes it was true that he could of gone back but at the same time Mizuki was to proud of it. He was going to tell the male it was alright but as Thalion spoke he began to grow a little angry until it just came out in a heated moment.

"You looked?" He asked "Not hard enough" He said turning "Want to know what I lived in for five years?" He asked the male looking at him with a tilted head "I lived under a bridge in a card bored box the days I was lucky" He said "The days the gods shone down on me was the days I ate" Mizuki said in a little broken whisper "And every day I prayed to whoever or whatever was listening in hopes that you would find me...shit I even looked for you but everytime I tried I found nothing so I gave up...clearly you didnt want me to find you" He said with a little laughter.

Shaking his head Mizuki didnt know what else to say really "I looked and worked at what I could but in the end I lost everything" He spoke "My home...my friend...the person I care for most...all gone and with in moments" He spoke lightly with a cringe "And I could do nothing to prevent it" He said lightly shaking his head. "I lived and worked those streets everyday for five years until Luna found me and took me in" He said "Never had I been so greatful" Mizuki said looking to Thalion.

Mizuki then stopped talking for a moment until he spoke again "I blame my self for everything" He said "I was to proud to do the things you said I could...and in the end it costed me my life I loved" He said painfully dipping his head as his ears flattened. "I tried everyday for years to correct it and nothing came of it...nothing did" He said "So I gave up. I came to the conclustion that I was going to die on those streets" He said with a nod of his head.

Mizuki then stopped "The past is the past..." He said with a nod "The past shapes the person to be what they are today" Mizuki said with a hard placed smile "So in a way I am greatfull that I was forced from the home I loved and the person I cared most for in this world...then again.." Mizuki paused here "I cant help but to wonder...what would of happened between us...if I stayed" He said lightly.

After a moment of silence Mizuki moved and began to walk past the male and back to the inn "If I had stayed...what kind of man...would you be today?" He asked lightly as he passed Thalion and walked into the inn. He didnt want to hear the answers the male had. No his heart was aching as it was. It was time to leave and he would the moment he could.

"Tsk I knew you would say that. Didn't look hard enough. I got fired from my job in the process of trying to find you. The one time I thought someone might know where you were and I nearly got killed because of the section of town it was in." Though he waved off the joke that the other would care in the slightest.

"You didn't have to leave in the first damn place so don't go blaming me for you living under a bridge and going hungry. Hell Mizuki I begged you to stay I had the bills covered but you were too damned stubborn." He snapped a little, not that eh normally kept his temper in check but that drink certainty didn't help it.

Though this was when Mizuki spoke again saying that he couldn't have stayed and that he blamed himself for what happened to him. Maybe that drink was getting to him more then he thought because he was debating if this made any sense about now. First the other yells at him and then almost says that what he yelled at him for wasn't his fault.

What would have happened? Simple he wouldn't be here a lot would have been different. Hell he might have finished college and kept that other job. Though what did it matter now. Though he did hear what Mizuki said as he walked by. He shook his head a little before he started walking the other way away from the inn. What kind of man would he be? Simple one that didn't lose his best friend, one that didn't quit school or get fired from the job he had. One that didn't work nearly everyday just to scrape by.

Felix wouldn't have to remind him to get out of the shop once in a while. Heck he might be a bit nicer instead of bitter as well. But things did a 360 almost when he finally gave up on looking for Mizuki. Maybe that was his fault. He should have turned down the job and maybe the other would have been hired or something. Sure the past shaped people but it also hardly mattered now.

Now he seemed happy with his new savior or friend or whatever he wanted to call Luna. Fine glad that was all out in the open. Maybe karma would stop being a bitch and let them go about their own paths and avoid one another.

It was probably the middle of the night before Thalion even got back to the room. Felix was half awake still as he sat up a bit. "Where did you run off to?" Thalion shook his head a little. "No where just needed to walk a bit." He sighed before half flopping on the bed. To be honest he was sore his eyes killed him and biting hit twice in nearly the same spot today. He was lucky nothing broke.

None the less as active as his mind was he didn't get much sleep. The past was haunting him again as it did every so often. He use to have dreams of Mizuki in trouble or something or needing help and he never could get to him in time or find him. Those came back with a new vengeance. He was probably lucky Felix was a heavy sleeper or he might have woken the other with all of his tossing and turning.

He did manage some sleep so by the time Felix and Neimi finally woke up his eyes didn't hurt as bad but he knew that would change soon enough as they started traveling again.

Felix and Thalion were in the lobby of the inn as Neimi seemed to almost make a checklist they had everything. "wraps.. salves.. um.. food, water." She seemed to nod to herself as she tapped a finger on her lip. "I think we're good to go." Felix shook his head a bit. "Good cause we've been standing here a hour at least."

Thouh as they started out the door someone barged in and nearly ran Neimi over. "S-sorry miss, trying to get this news posted to warn people." He seemed a bit shaken up as he went to the inn counter and spoke what he needed to say. It seemed there was a small group going around killing anyone they crossed.

"Guess we better watch our backs.. least we fair better then most being in a small group." Most were probably traveling alone, or in pairs. Thalion smirked a little trying to forget last night ever happened. "Pff lets see them try, I say today we upgrade and take out a high dragon or something."

Felix laughed before following Neimi and Thalion. "Right if we see one we can certainly try and turn tail and run like little girls after we find out our weapons are useless too."

Mizuki panted as he stood where he was if you could call it standing. He was hunched panting and bleeding from everywhere that he could see and looking to Luna she was no better. It still shocked him how this group got to them but in the end he didnt care. All he knew what that they needed to live but right now that didnt seem to be the fates plan.

"Well would you look at that" The neko said as the male walked forward his claws bloddied "Seems to me the mage here is giving up" The cat character said with a smile then other voices joined in "Yeah seems that way about time to I was getting bored" He heard from behind him and Mizuki growled "Giving up...thats funny" He said lightly.

Mizuki knew that he was not going to last much longer and he should just accept what was coming but he couldnt. Something was telling him to hang on for as long as he could "Aww so you still have some mirth left eh" another said from the side. Mizuki huffed. This was never a good fight to start with six and two...who would win? Not only that but being snuck up on and taking the first blow sealed their fate.

"Not mirth..." Mizuki said with a smile "Just pissed off that a low level demon character like yourself snuck up on me" He said with a little laugh leaping back as he was slashed at though he couldnt dodge the first to the side of his face from one of the others.

Catching his balance on weak legs he spit out a mouth full of blood to the ground "Aww cant...handle the truth" Mizuki said. Mizuki knew that he was just sealing his fate but he figured if he was dead anyways might as well have some fun on the way out. Though the thought of fun ended as his mind betrayed him and thought of Thalion. At least he was able to tell the male he didnt blame him. With that that he finally let himself go and fell to his knees panting.

They had been walking a while. Debating where they needed to go. They could finally leave this blasted cold area. That was Thalion's five cents to add. Though Felix said that they should explore more they had supplies so why not see if they could find something out here. With it being cold there might be less players as well till they got more use to what was going on.

Though Thalion got distracted as the other two debated between themselves where to go to next. Maybe a better question was what to do. Either way he saw a little bit of blood on the ground, some leading a sort of trail like someone or something was wounded and running. For now he ignored it paying it no mind as he tried to push the thought from his head.

Though walking a bit further he stopped finally and cursed his own thoughts. What if it was Mizuki, there was the group reported that was attacking groups and what if those two. "Damn it.." He hissed before he caught up to Felix and Neimi saying they had to go back. "What for?" "i just need to see something ok." He'd never forgive himself if something happened when he could have stopped it.

Either way they agreed to go back a bit, not like they had a real direction anyway. Though the further they went the more blood that seemed to be showing up. That was not good. They stopped once they saw figured and heard voices. Cat creatures? Were they players or something else he didnt recall a cat race but that hardly meant anything.

But that one fallen figure that just dropped to his knees.. that was.. there was no mistaking that outfit about now. Neimi gasped a little. "isnt that the shamen and the dragonkin? They don't look so good. We need a plan though there are still only three of us and six of them." Also the fact she couldn't really fight.

"Felix you take- wait where'd Thalion go?" Felix pointed before getting his weapon ready. "you just get to the other two we can handle a few kitties." Felix joked before following in Thalion's lead.

The one that was close to Mizuki readied a blade as he smirked. "Say good night mage" Though the blade suddenly made the sound of it connected with another. This caused the cat to back up before it started laughing. "find your own kills drow." Thalion shrugged a little taking a step forward being almost rash with this little assault. "Oh you can kill them, after you get through me."

This made the leader of this pack look at the others before shaking his head. "You have a death wish that I will gladly fulfill. fighting during the day hours." This made Thalion smirk all the more. "I figured it might make this a fair fight."

About that time Felix cleaved two of the other cat creatures. Killing one and wounding the next. The leader hissed before lunging forward and trying to get rid of he new pest he found. Neimi had just gotten to Mizuki and Luna as she shook her head a little. "Oh thats a lot of blood.. " She breathed out before holding a hand out towards the both of them and muttering a few words under her breath. It wouldn't fully heal them but it was a start.

Mizuki knelt there with his eyes closed as he heard the words from the cat demon. So it was over now wasnt it? This was how he was going to die and there was nothing that he could do about it. He was accepting his fate and just when he was awaiting the cool steel but it never came instead it clashed with the coolness of a different blade.

This was when the sound of Thalions voice reached his ears. Looking up he gave a faint smile. So now he was seeing things wasnt he? The fact that the male was there and saving him was a dream he had had many times...but it was one that didnt come true. Even as he watched the clerk and the barbarian join the fight he couldnt beleive it.

"He really did save me this time..." Mizuki said as he watched the cats fall one by one. Mizuki smiled and closed his eyes before he wobbled a little on his knees before he fell the rest of the way to the ground as he passed out.

"Hey hey no talking you. Save your-" She flinched as he fell over an sighed. "wasted my breath." None the less she kept the spell going till she was happy with the end results and waited to see how things would turn out. Though from the looks of it their side was winning.

She shook her head laughing weakly. "Though two... just rushing head long into things." Felix finished the second one he had been attacking as Thalion kept the leader busy though he was running out of support as his clan was falling one by one.

"Oh I guess the advantage of it being day time didn't help you all that much now did it?" He said cockily as he landed a decent blow on the leader causing him to drop his weapon. "Who the hell are you people!? Who travels with a drow and a barbarian. What did it matter if-"

"It matters to me, if anyone is going to kill that damned prick its me and I'm not quick ready to do that." He said before running a blade through the leaders middle tired of him asking questions. "tsk least try to grow a pair when you dying. Sniveling like a coward."

Felix laughed a bit as the last one fell before speaking up. "Your a bit scary when your annoyed ya know that?" It was probably true, though he was more worried they got here too late as they walked over to where Neimi was with Mizuki and Luna.

She flinched a little before looking at the both of them. "They should be fine a bit beat up and some of the wounds might take a few days to heal. Um.." She was thinking a bit before she spoke again. "There was a old shack I saw before we turned around. It was a bit run down but it'd help keep the weather off till they wake up."

That was their only option as it started snowing. They managed to get both of the two wounded there as Neimi went about tending t any further wounds. she could heal them with magic but she wanted to reserve it in case.. well anything else went wrong.

Mizuki slept for a good while but when he woke there was no time of slowly waking...no instead it was asleep then awake from one moment to the next. Sitting up right with a jolt he regretted it as he hissed out bringing his knees to his chest he hunched over with a growl. Yep that was sore. With that thought came the next...why or rather how was he still alive.

Looking up he looked around the little area. It seemed to be a broken down shack...there was a fire in the middle burning and crackeling. From here he could see out side and judging by the color even at night the snow was falling and fast. Mizuki groaned as he reached a hand up to his head though flinched as he heard a voice to his right "Your awake" He heard.

Turning his head he looked at the woman who spoke. Wasnt that the clerk from before...if that was the case then his dream wasnt a dream but reality. Thalion did save him...but where was the male now? "You need to drink something" He heard again and groaned as a cup was passed to him "No thank you" He said lightly but got a growl from the female "You need to drink" Mizuki sighed "No. Thank you" He said more sternly.

Mizuki was hot headed and when it came to things he didnt want to do he was stubborn as all hell. "Drink the water" the female said and Mizuki growled "I dont want any. Thank you" He said glaring at her his eyes harsh as his ears dipped back. "I will force you..." She said and Mizuki snorted "I would love to see you try" He said moving to sit up at his full hight even if he regretted it.

Felix glanced over at Neimi a she was trying to keep the mage form getting worse form lack of fluids. "Oh she has her ways... " He chuckled a little as the elf seemed determined to be stubborn. "Drink the water or I will make you drink it, puff all you want. Least your friend there was more willing to work with me." She said crossing her arms as she waited a little bit. "You know what fine don't drink any. Don't eat either. I'm almost sorry I wasted the energy to save you but I think Thalion might have killed me if I just sat there and watched you bleed out." Neimi set the cup on the wooden box near where they had set up makeshift beds for the two before going and sitting across from Felix at the fire.

"He's been gone a-" "Thal is fine, its night time and he's a drow this is his element. Anyone willing to attack him now is stupid. Besides this isn't a game anymore so ... he's the better fighter out of the three of us." Apparently they had sent him or or he went out or something.

A little bit after Neimi had settled down at the fire the door opened finally as a small pile of wood was placed next to the fire. "I hate the cold... with a burning passion.." He hissed letting out a heavy breath. "Aw... can't stand the snow?" Felix teased as Thalion shook his head. "Hell no I cannot I came from the south remember? I didn't always live in that freezng cold place you call a city."

Neimi noticed Mizuki never did touch the cup as she pouted a little. "Your friends stubborn and ungrateful." Thalion shrugged. "I'm suppose to fix that? He never listened to me either when we lived together."

Mizuki hissed as she spoke "I know my body thank you and I am not being ungreatfull either" He spoke "or would you rather want to clean up a mess of stomach bile and blood with some water I suggest you leave me be" He said glaring at the female. This was when Thalion spoke and he looked to the male "Just as you never listened to me" He stated "Or should I remark on the scars and how you got them?" He said with a smile and a tilt of his head "Minus the last what...8 years" He said with a glare.

Mizuki moved and sat up better leaning into the wall. Crossing his legs and placing his arms into his lap he sighed a little. This was all to much. First the meeting then the talk now this? What on earth did the fates have in store for him bringing Thalion back into his life. Either way Mizuki had a feeling it was going to be a long trip ahead of them.

"I can recall how I got each one thanks. Most of them I pretty much asked for and you never had to get your hands dirty in the least." He said crossing his arms before moving to lean against the wall behind him. He acted like he had more to say but stopped himself short. He did remember most of them. Heck one of them was from keeping Mizuki out of trouble. Most he kept covered up hardly being proud to say that they were from random fights that should and could have been avoided.

After a moment of silence Thalion finally moved from the wall and towards the door again. "Wait where-" "sentry duty." Neimi started to get up to stop him but Felix stopped her. After the door shut she looked at Felix before she managed to say anything. "Leave him be, he gets like that at times. It took me three years to even get warmed up to him and thats because I'm a damned pest about it."

Before Thalion was cocky and a bit rash and hardheaded but least he was social and had everything to look forward to. After Mizuki left and he lost that job he seemed to just go down hill. Felix was in his class the last year he bothered with trying to take college thats how they met. Well and the bar of course.

This was when Felix stood stretching a bit. "Well I have to say I have never seen anyone get on his nerves quite that quickly before." He had a good idea of who this mage was. Thalion had spoken on him a few times. Every so often Thalion would be caught reading over deaths and the names just to make sure that one wasn't on the list. It wasn't like Thalion loved him actually Felix wasn't sure Thalion loved anything. He was married to his work and that was because he had to be.

Mizuki sat there for a little while before he moved and layed down. He knew sleep was not going to be easy but it was better then just sitting there and doing nothing. Laying there he sighed silently to himself as he curled up. Just his luck that he would meet up with the one person he never thought he would ever see again. Why did the fates hate him so?

The next day he was up and walking. It was a slow steady walk but one none the less. He lost count of the times he was told to sit down "Look you might as well give up" Luna said "He knows how far to push himself he will stop when needed...your just wasting time and energy" She spoke before going back to her water. "Take the advice clerk" He said slightly before grabbing his cloak and going out side.

He knew his limits and what he could do. Mizuki walked a little ways out into the snow and stood there breathing in the crisp air around them. Mizuki sighed a little. How did it come to this...and what would happen when he was healed? Would they leave and go different ways? Or would they stick together and better their chances? Mizuki didnt know but part of him wanted to stay with Thalion...though he knew they would never be how they used to be.

Felix shook his head a little. "Sounds like someone else we might know." He was referring to Thalion. "Neimi sighed though thats when it dawned on her. "did he ever come back last night!" She slightly panicked that maybe something happened and she had never even given the slightest thought on it. No he didn't now that Felix thought about it though he didn't seem nearly as worried.

"You'll get use to him running off and vanishing. Normally one of two places, a bar or home." When he was off anyway. "Though seeing as there is no home option he probably just found somewhere to keep out of the storm. It started getting pretty bad last night." Neimi looked at Felix before shaking him finally. "Whats wrong with you! You let him walk out into a blizzard?!"

"Relax Neimi. He's fine, he's too stubborn to let a bit of weather get the better of him." "While that may be true... it is touching someone cares at least. I almost feel ill at the thought of warm fuzzy feelings." Smart ass as always. Neimi glared at him before she started to say something though he quickly stopped her putting a hand over her mouth. "Be thankful I was out there, I seem to be a good deterrence against anyone going this way without even drawing a blade. Besides.." He started before handing her a wrapped bundle. "cleaned, skinned the only thing to do is cook it. The bonus to staying in a cold region is that meats won't go bad and its easy as sin to track things."

She still shot a glare at him before handing the parcel over to Felix. "The lot of you are damned stubborn!"

Mizuki huffed as he desided it was time for a walk. Heading to the trees he smiled slightly to himself as memories came to his mind. He knew why he was thinking the way he was. It was the fact that he knew Thalion was around that he even thought of what he did. Shaking his head he walked some more beforem he stopped at a fallen tree.

Brushing the snow off of the tree he sat down and crossed his arms under his cloak. and began to hum to himself as he sat there thinking. Mizuki wondered to himself if this was the way things were meant to be...was he supposed to leave and head his own way or was he supposed to stay? Mizuki sighed to himself.

"So anything else that we should know about?" Felix finally asked walking behind Thalion before the other stopped. "Yeah I hate the sunlight... aside from that no." Felix laughed expecting to hear that complaint for a while. "Well good news you'll get use to it some time.." "before I go blind or after?"

Neimi sighed a little before leaning against the tree near the shack. "We should get moving.. These two seem about to walk a bit. Staying here is asking for some larger group to try their luck."

Thalion paused when Neimi mentioned the other two. "They're coming with us?" Neimi tilted her head a little. "Well im not forcing them but it might be a good idea. They are not in any shape to fight and there is safety in numbers.

Felix shrugged a little agreeing with the numbers. "yes lets put two races together that naturally hate one another on top of a feud from real life."

Mizuki had returned after awhile and the day went on like nothing. Noe the sun had set and rose again bringing a new day with it. Now the smaller group had gathered the things needed and Mizuki couldnt help but to hear the conversation they seemed to be having right out side of the door. Shaking his head he walked out side "Strength in numbers maybe right..." He began "But i can tell from all its not welcomed" He said with a nod of his head.

This was when Luna joined his side as he made it past the three standing there "I would rather walk and freeze in this hell whole then be where I am not wanted" Mizuki said with a nod of his head. Making his way to the trees he stopped a moment "I myself could care less...if you want to fallow do so if not..." Mizuki stopped for a moment "Well...thats your choice" He said looking back and right at Thalion.

Mizuki began his walk again. He knew where to go. The map said to go south then east so thats what he was going to do. Going south meant warmer weather then this frozen shit and he was more then greatfull for that.

When Mizuki spoke up as he started walking Thalion rolled his eyes a bit. It wasn't that eh wasn't wanted. He never voice the thought though. As the two started to walk off Neimi folded her arms and looked at Thalion. "what? He walked off I didn't- stop that... " She was still glaring at him and giving him a look that said this was his fault. "Tsk fine I get it already damn..."

He looked at Felix who was trying not to laugh at this. "This .. right here is why I don't keep a chick around, you asked once and I said they were a damned pain." Felix nodded but was still holding a laugh back none the less.

Either way the two groups seemed to remain together in a way. At the least staying within range of the other. Though this was when Neimi decided she was curious. "So what exactly happened? You two seem to be at a on going war with each other without drawing a weapon or saying a word."

Thalion sighed heavily rubbing his head a little, the light was bothering him again. "Young and dumb we'll sum it up to that. Apparently I didn't try hard enough is what it comes down to." She tilted her head a little before saying anything again. "Can't you two get over the past?" "Because things are that easy oh yeah sure. Would you forgive seeing someone you hadn't for eight years?"

She seemed to really think on it. "I dunno.. maybe not. Unless they were cute. I might make a exception then." She giggled a bit at the thought before Thalion shook his head a little. Well I can see how you ended up on a team with Felix now.."

Felix decided he wanted to pitch in this conversation as he spoke up. "Aw you two can't just kill and make up?" Thalion gave him a bit of a odd look before laughing at the thought. "Right, I think I'd get another ice bolt to the stomach with a attempt." Neimi thought on this a moment before smirking edging this on. "I'd pay to see it and I have gold to do so with." She said boldly sticking her tongue out. "Tempting... I rather like being in one piece."

This was when Felix had to go down a road Thalion rather would not remember. "Oh just pay for enough drinks and he'll take you up on any bet or dare you can think of."
