Avatar contest! -prizes!- ENDED -judging-
 

Hello everyone, I have been here for a while now but I do not participate much in the event nor in the forums, so I thought I would offer a contest and give out prizes to get some conversation going :)

AVATAR CONTEST:

[Theme]:spring/nature -obviously for the spring event hehe-

[Required item]: something purple (because I absolutely love that colour)

[limitations]: not too cluttered, but if the layering is nicely done I will allow it :)

There can be as many entries as possible, but only one entry per person (no mules)

Prizes:

1st place: 50 runes

2nd place: 20 runes

3rd place: "pocket money" RIG item or "hemmed heart"

5. I will be the judge of this contest since I am giving out the prizes my self but I will also take into consideration a poll response that will be set up.

I am sorry I couldn't afford giving out better prizes, I am quite poor in real life :P (uni student life)

I find them both appealing :P the items on trisphee are really nice!
I mean I am not into pink but obviously it is limited to what I wear haha (in real life that is)

This is the first colour avatar I've had. I kept trying to make ones before but they always ended up being black and white

it kinda is XD we dont have much in flowers and most of the purple is very saturated unless you go to the shops

o.o I would love a backyard like this...mine is too small to have anything but a small garden in it and I'm lucky to be in a house :P

dude i moved out of my parent's house in october so i have not had any yard at all in months

uuugh well it's either a good thing or not, I still live with my mother because I'm 24 and in university and we get along just fine. ^^ (am a girl and I help her out a lot) I do like my little backyard and the fact that I don' live downtown so I can go ride my bicycle anytime and only get 1 chance out of 5 of getting hit by a driver instead of 4/5 hahaha

i am working on an avatar, but i am having trouble with completing it.

No it is just Avi making takes time, alot of us use complex layering and it can take days to hit just the right mix. I am having trouble balancing the purples (lilac base and a violet base)

I was in the middle of making an avi too! Now that I look back on it it needs lots of fixing, but I'm still going to work towards it. My monitor gamma keeps going out of whack but everything is the right color today. :3

And I'm totally interested in those prizes. OuO I want that Hemmed Heart! It's the only RIG item from that egg that I didn't manage to get. :3

Naw, man. People here just like to take their time in conceptualizing and creating their avatars. :3

Haha, yeah, sorry. I sometimes forget to post in a contest until after I actually make my entry. >.> I get too distracted building my creation!

It is fine, i am trying to make one for this one that isn't the same as my idea for the WEAR charity spring contest.

I'm just not very good at making awesome avatars especially compared to you guys who've been making them for quite some time now :)

It just takes practice and a bit of time to build up the right item collection. A good foundation of commons goes a long way!

Oh yeah, though i find making a basic Stripper avi (Hair, face, undies & shoes) then adding on all of the pretty stuff makes it easier for me

hehehe it does sound like a good idea to start with a base, which I just did and changed my avi! :D

I should make more aurum so I can buy more commons, there are so many and in so many colours *__*

I have a habit of forgetting that commons exist.
