haveing problem with tradeing

it keeps saying i don't have enough Aurum ?

Logan 09-26-2010 08:07 PM

To purchase stuff at store?Need to have enough Au to purchase them, hun.

Sei 09-26-2010 08:13 PM

If you mean trades, not the store, then it might be a bug for Coda to look into.

Are you putting in more than you have currently? The system will not allow you to go into the red, so double check that. :3

~N~ 09-26-2010 08:16 PM

well i over 2mil and im trying to put n 6k :.

Logan 09-26-2010 08:17 PM

you only have 2,000 something Au.
You dont have 2,000,000. lol

Sei 09-26-2010 08:19 PM

Yeah, that's the problem. XD

You only have around 2k, so it won't let you trade 2 mil. :3

Chi 09-26-2010 08:19 PM

You actually do not have 2 million in Aurum. You have 2,224.27 Aurum.
That's a decimal point not a comma, sorry if it's a little too hard to read but the trade system is right for telling you, you don't have enough.

~N~ 09-26-2010 08:23 PM

Rawr see i knew i didn't really have two mil >.> but it does this when i start trade

Look at your AU amount at upper right corner, it said 2,000.00 something, WITH DECIMAL, NOT COMMA.
You dont have million AU.

~N~ 09-26-2010 08:28 PM

well they should make the money count so confusing in a newbies eye vew that looks like 2mil :/

Chi 09-26-2010 08:30 PM

You don't have 6,000 Aurum, you can't trade that. 2,000 Aurum is less than 6,000 therefore you can't trade. Make the amount smaller than 2,224 Aurum, unless you're trying to buy an item from someone. Tell them you're sorry but you don't have enough money to buy the item.

Logan 09-26-2010 08:32 PM

I will let Fenris know that some users have issues with that, N, ok? ^-^

~N~ 09-26-2010 08:32 PM

yeah X.X

and yes do so

Logan 09-26-2010 08:42 PM

No problem and this case is solved. <3

Alexander Linden 09-26-2010 08:53 PM

>.< It's really not that confusing if you know what the difference between a decimal point and a comma is.

Sei 09-26-2010 08:55 PM

Well, Alex, some countries switch the decimal point and the comma (so 2,000.21 Au would be 2.000,21 Au). Might be good to keep that in mind, even though it is easy to get used to once you're on the forum for a bit. :3

Alexander Linden 09-26-2010 09:09 PM

Well that is true, but this /is/ and American site.

Sei 09-26-2010 09:10 PM

Of course, of course. I was just pointing out that it might confuse some people not used to that formation until they got used to it. :3

Alexander Linden 09-26-2010 09:16 PM

I suppose, but if it was going by that the comma in the front would make them believe they have 2 and a lot of change, would it not?

johnny 09-26-2010 10:37 PM

No matter how you switch up the decimal and the comma, there's no way that "2,258.01" looks like 2,000,000.

There just flat-out are not enough numbers. No matter what, there will never be enough numbers because there is no such thing as a comma that is followed by two numbers, and the decimal point will always precede two numbers for the change.

1,000 10,000 100,000 1,000,000 etc.

This is first-grade number knowledge, guys. There's no reason to change the coding. Just use logic.

Alexander Linden 09-26-2010 11:01 PM

xD There is that too... >.>
