If you recognize this quote, I'll love you for life.
"Let's get dangerous..." >D |
That would be Darkwing Duck. I have to say that it took me a moment to get it all together though. I remember that one well, and for whatever reason thinking of that cartoon brought this one to mind, my mom and I would watch this one together. Beetlejuice
|
Pokemon, the first season, the best season, in my opinion anyway XP
|
As far as Pokenon goes I do have to agree with you there, it just didn't feel the same afterwards you know. I've looked at the other seasons and they're alright...just not the same feel you know.
Speaking of that made me remember the following cartoons Digimon Monster Rancher One Piece Bleach If you've seen Digimon tell me what you think....I'm kinda sold on the first story arc though. |
Pink Panther! x3 I missed that show soo much I downloaded it and burnt it to disk =w=
but growing up.. most of the time we didn't even have basic cable so I just watch Disny movies and westerns mom would buy =w= |
Oh mah gawd yes! All the oldschool Nickelodeon shows!
Catdog Hey Arnold (I still NEED to find all the seasons) Rugrats Pokemon Doug Ed Edd and Eddy Power Puff Girls xD God... Those were the days... :( |
A lot of the same as GrnTea + first season of Pokemon and Cardcaptor Sakura.
I also saw that old Rainbow Brite and My Little Pony movies for some reason... >.> |
I used to own the rainbow brite and my little pony movies/episodes xD someone stole them when I was about 7-8 =w=

D: Plus a few Disney anime shows on Toonami. <3 |
History Channel, Discovery Channel, and the occasional Animal Planet. The end result was teachers stopped calling on me because I knew too much for my own good.
Also alot of Anime thx. to Adult Swim. |
I've read everyone's posts....I have to say that my mom loved CatDog and Hey Arnold....I think that Helga was her favorite character from that show.
Ed Edd and Eddy was something that I had to me in the mood to watch, I did like the Powerpuff Girls. Those Rainbow Brite and My Little Pony videos are like worth $20+ nowadays. Oh does anyone happen to remember that one disney show that featured a family of very bouncy bears? Recalls a few more cartoons Cow and Chicken (my mom loved The Red Guy) I am Weasel The Smurfs The Magic School Bus Wishbone(not a cartoon) Scooby Doo (I really liked the ones that featured HollyWood stars of the time...Scooby Doo Movies I think it was called.) I also used to watch Wrestling with my great grandmother...gosh I used to love hanging out with her.<3 She loved Clint Eastwood so I ended out looking at a lot of westerns too. I think that my favorite one was The Good The Bad and The Ugly. |
My cousin was the one that watched Rugrats! I was waaaay into Sailor Moon and Magic School Bus. As well as most others: School House Rock, Dinosaurs, Wishbone, Reading Rainbow, Lamb Chop's Play Along, Doug, Gargoyles, Darkwing Duck, Animaniacs, Angry Beavers, Tailspin, Pinky and the Brain, Big Comfy Couch, Bonkers, Captain Planet, Arthur, Hey Arnold, Chip n' Dale Rescue Rangers, Boy Meets World, Sabrina, etc. I feel all kinds of nostalgic, now. D8 |
Ahh! Real Monsters - was my absolute favourite. They sometimes play it on pay TV and it brings back such good memories.
Rocco's Modern Life. Rugrats. Angry Beavers. I Dream of Jeannie. Sailor Moon. Pokemon. Yu-Gi-Oh. The Magic School Bus. PowerPuff Girls. CatDog. |
Hm...in no particular order:
Square Pegs Misfits of Science Greatest American Hero Eight Is Enough Magnum, PI Family Ties In Living Color Poirot (PBS series) Blackadder Red Dwarf Monty Python Dungeons & Dragons Smurfs The Littles Drak Pack ABC Saturday Specials |
As Told by Ginger
Teen Titans Sailor Moon Johnny Bravo Maury Jerry Springer (OTZL) Jenny Jones Show Spongebob Squarepants (The orginal is the best) Yu-Gi-Oh! Family Guy CatDog Totally Spies {Original] Pokemon Powerpuff Girls Dexter's Labatory [Orginal Las Vegas] CSI |
mainly nick shows and disney shows lol. but my fave shows were the ones on the kids wb (yu-gi-oh, digimon, batman beyond, static shock, x-men evolution, etc.)
|
I watched the Care Bears, Doug, Pepper Ann, Degrassi: The next generation, Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Laboratory, Courage the Cowardly Dog, and a few others.
|
Nearly ALL of the shows mentioned I watched xD I had no life as a kid. If not at school I was doing one of three things:
1) Watching TV 2) Playing Pokemon on my Gameboy (remember when they used to require batteries? xD) 3) Playing "Show" as we called. (it's bascially LARPing but we had no idea at the time) |
Hmmm -ponders-
I mostly watched what my parents watched, so news and sitcoms. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, old Bugs Bunny cartoons, Mary Poppins (I knew it so well I'd act out the scenes and say all the lines as they happened XD), Cheers, Murphy Brown, M*A*S*H, Darkwing Duck, Rescue Rangers, Blackadder, Mr. Bean, Keeping Up Appearances (British comedy), The Smurfs, Frasier, The Sally Jessie Raphael Show, old school Oprah, The Arsenio Hall Show, late night shows (usually Letterman I believe), etc. Reading through others' lists, I have no clue what most of those shows are XD /shot for being too old. |
OH PLEASE?!
NO ONE WATCHED HEIDI? OR MARCO? OR DRAGON BALL? |
Lots and lots of Scooby Doo. Probably not the most educational, but I loved the specials where the Harlem Globe Trotters came on.
|
I watched just about everything but Zoids was my fav. X3

I didn't watch a lot of television as a kid, actually. ;; It was mainly Pokemon, Scooby-Doo, and Arthur. @ u @;;
|
I watched a lot of discovery channel, the weekend would be Saturday morning cartoons, then the discovery channel Sunday show-case. I was disappointed when they stopped doing that... Crocodile Hunter was one of my favorites, when Steve died I was very sad. =( He was a childhood hero to me.
What else... Wishbone, Magic School Bus, Bill Nye the Science Guy, Angry Beavers, Pokemon, Monster Rancher, Digimon, Medabots (although the ending of that series confused me), Spongebob, Rugrats, Cat Dog, Courage the Cowardly Dog, I am Weasel, Yvon of the Yukon (not sure if that show played outside of Canada), and others I just don't remember right now. Cartoons are awesome. :D |
I watched a lot of sitcoms (Saved By the Bell, Family Matters, Cosby Show, Cheers, Boy Meets World, NewsRadio). My cartoons were mostly old Loony Toons, and some 90s cartoons like Powerpuff Girls, Johnny Bravo, and Dexter's Lab. For a year or so, I watched Pokemon and Sailor Moon, but I grew out of that fairly quickly.
When the Animal Planet channel appeared, I watched it pretty much 24/7 (or, rather, 12/7 since it turned into infomercials in the middle of the night). And I watched the old black and white episodes of Zorro. I had some pretty un-childish tastes in TV when I was a child. xD |
tmnt, power rangers, sailor moon, and all those saturday morning tidbits..
bump in the night was one of my faves! |
TeenTitans
Flintstones Jetsons Smurfs Rugrats Wild Thornberries Code Lyoko Reboot Tenshi Muyo Sailor Moon Hamtaro Fighting Foodons Kirby and Hamtaro! I'm sure there's more shows. I just can't think of the rest right now. I watched waaay too much TV. Um...I still do.. |
Alot of the cartoons you listed I also watched growing up :3
i also watched Roseanne, Saved by the bell and alot of others, I mainly watched cartoon shows though :] |

Rugrats, Ahh Realmonsters, Rocko's modern life, the list goes on. i miss my old good cartoons. S: </3 eedit; @Katy; i lovveeeeddd code lyoko, hamtaro and teen titans. o 3o |
I didn't have cable back then, so I could only watch these chinese cartoons. They were pretty amusing, and helped me learn chinese, but the drawings were kind of ugly xD
|
I used to love Dudley the Dragon and Barney as a wee, wee lass. That and the Big Comfy Couch. As far as cartoons go, though: Dexter's Laboratory Courage the Cowardly Dog Power Puff Girls Samurai Jack Cow and Chicken Pokemon Digimon Jackie Chan's Adventures Code Lyoko Hamtaro Teen Titans Yu-Gi-Oh! Awh, man. The list goes on! I was mostly a Cartoon Network junkie. Now, though? Cartoon Network's been goin' downhill. :[ I mean, come on! Live Action on Cartoon Network?? |
Actually, Cartoon Network isn't even called Cartoon Network anymore.
I'm pretty sure they're officially changed the name to just "CN" or something to make up for the fact that they're showing live action shows now. That's what my brother tells me anyway. |
All the old Cartoon Network cartoons, and some animes (naruto and inyuyasha) which were chinese dubbed.
|
X-Men (original AND evolution), spiderman, the tick, loony tunes, tiny toons, animaniacs, hysertia, freakazoid; all the classics XD
|

I used to watch like a ton of shows on Nickelodeon. Anybody remember Figure It Out and Legends of the Hidden Temple? Those were my favorite shows! Also Kenan and Kel and All That. 8D
There were also a lot of Tagalog dubbed anime and cartoons. For some reason, I remember Princess Sarah and Yaiba. And like...a shit ton of other anime of which the titles escape me now. o u o; And with the maid, I'd watch noontime variety shows and again, Tagalog-dubbed dramas (telenobelas) like Marimar. 8D |
I loved all of the old Nickelodeon shows...
