-nod- While they are nothing impressive (at least for me), I am glad we were able to get something out this month! The pixelling looks great, and I am definitely buying a Missionary for a certain future cosplay.

While neither of the items are my cup of tea I'm very happy to see new Donation Items being released. Hopefully a lot of people will like them and Buy a few sets :3.
I guess most people will start dressing up their avatars for the Holidays right about now xD. |

Personally I think items with the same theme are fine as long as the poses are still different from each other, but I can see why people would want a different theme is there an item with the theme already exists ^^;.
Off topic, what item are you using for the mist and the snow? It looks great (as well as your entire avatar for that matter)! |

That definitely is a very impressive number of background items o.O, I don't think I've ever even heard of most of them to be honest ^^;.
In any case it does look fantastic :3. I looked a bit trough the item guild after you mentioned the items you used, it seems that ones I wanted to know about were Winter Royalty, Celestial Priestess and Wind Spirit :3. Thank you for telling me :D. I guess I now know what items to quest for next year unless a new item with snow in it comes out xD. |

What is advanced layering? I try to experiment with it, but most backrounds I have just seem to...completely overlap with each other...

Yeah, we don't have enough props for super complicated backgrounds yet, but we're working on it.
Uhm. Advanced layering is just when you get to the point where you don't really bat an eye at using like 20 items to get your head right, as opposed to having like 20 items total for the outfit. Your style leans towards more advanced things, you just need more practice and items. |

I'm a fairly advanced layering user myself. Nexess was shocked when she found out how many layers I have on my face right now. :P

Umm...I don't really do much for the face...lack face-oriented items, I think...
But 10+ for the body, and 2 or 3 for the background would be common. It looks like 10 to me... |
So does me using 35 layers on my current avatar make me an advance layering avi person? >.>

Try eye make up, facial depth, eyebrows (Which can sometimes be up to 4 pieces), a layered mouth look.
Personally I use around 15 items in a simple face. My largest face list was 22 but I had blood splatter and junk dripping from it. Hair.... don't even get me started in hair. I have used up to 7 hairs in one avatar and that was serval months back. |
