So the way I look at it is that it's a halo/borderlands/wow type of game. 3 classes, each with their own super move, and random bosses with chances for epic loot. I plan on getting it but my issues are I'm not getting a next gen console. So I'm debating xbox or ps3 for the copy. Also if you put down a preorder now you can get a beta code, while supplies last, to try the game out at the start of next year.

I've looked at it and it looks like it will be awesome...especially coming from Bungie. I'm a bit wary though after Defiance and some of the problems that plagued it...just the lack of support and bugginess. Guess that's comparing an apple to an orange though....

Anyways, probably will end up getting it if for no other reason than it's another possibly revolutionary and unique game amongst quite a few repetitive genres and games....*steps off soap box*

well the release date isnt until June next year and they are doing beta early in the year. so hopefully it is to get all the bugs out before full launch. But the game play from E3 looked amazing (not knowing what console it was on). IF it was going to come out on pc i would get it but sadly bungie isnt giving a definite yes or no

From what they've released so far it won't be available on PC for launch. Possible later on down the road (like they did for both Halo 1 and 2), but in the mean time it's console-only.

Hopefully they do manage to work all the bugs out and reinforce their servers (or rather make sure they have enough to handle the massive strain) to survive launch day and the following weeks.

So, yes.

It's a Mass Multiplayer Online First Person Shooter being developed by Bungie. The basis of the game is that you play as one of the defenders of the last great city and refuge of mankind on Earth after a great catastrophe which the city was protected from by "The Traveler." As the defender you venture forth and explore the now unfamiliar environment and the areas once held by mankind.

there is an enemy called the fallen. you can do solo story line or you can just do random free explores on multiplayer

Yep. There's quite few interesting enemies for sure....plenty of challenges as well. I'd probably end up bouncing between the two parts....or rather ways of playing...

i might just do the multiplayer since better loot

Yeah but at the same time it requires some better coordination and effort...at least in terms of having people to play with.

I probably will, just not on launch day. Gonna be way too laggy more than likely.

yeah launch day will be bad... that day will be a solo day... still debating on ps3 or xbox though... I REFUSE ON NEXT GEN... no backwards compatibility....

A-yep...though some betas don't let the players carry stuff over to the full game later on.
