a long haitus(with gifts for joo)
so the couple weeks i have been back from my short break from tris have not been all that great, i got to talk to some friends i missed while i was gone and i got to do some fun things with newbies but i am still not feeling any of the joy i used to get when i would get online here and frankly, i finally understand why virtually all of the most amazing people who used to play here have all abandoned this place. i am sorry but tris is dying and has been for a while and frankly i just dont want to watch anymore. i wish the few people here good luck and if in a few months it's still hanging one i hope to visit a more lively site. as it stands though i see no reason to hang around anymore(lack of people and an unusable avatar system being the bulk of it) and will be frequenting other avatar sites from now on
what does this mean for you guys? well, those of you who have been nice people(friendly to newbies and oldies, sociable and other such marks of decency) will be getting free stuff so enjoy this early xmas gift and thanks for trying to keep me around and if you have some things you specifically want feel free to ask and you just might get 'em (trades will be from 'zosa' all you need to do is hit accept, i will be sending out the trades over the next two days) |

I'm very sad to hear this, hopefully Trisphee won't actually die (I'm still sad from the time Crysandrea shut down and this is the only other avatar site with avatars that I really like TT.TT) and you'll come back after a few months to a site that's still here and hopefully doing better by then :3 (especially the avatar system). *hugs*

Well, I was thinking of saying there's nothing too much wrong with the avatar system until something went wrong...and I know what they were going to say...change browsers.

I agree with you. It's heartbreaking seeing the site this way. We can't do much but introduce new members, and even then, what exactly is there to ensure they'll want to stick around if I can't even get myself to come on? When I get internet back I'll try my damdest to keep it alive, but that won't be for another few months at least. I'm actually upset with Fenris at how she pretty much abandoned the site for a short duration and left her staff to fend for themselves. I understand she's busy with her job, but she can't take 15 minutes out of her day to announce a public apology to all of her users? The site was doing very well for a while and then she up and disappears like that without much notice. It really is upsetting to me, but it's whatever at this point.

I haven't noticed anyone doing or not doing their jobs...though telling people to change browsers when they have an error isn't good (especially if it's one of the big three XD Though...IE is going down XD)

apparently linux is the godly ambrosia of computer-related programing and is now waaaaay more user-friendly..... of course my source is a total computer-geek XD he even looks the stereotype hahaaha chubby with glasses and mussed hair and a drony voice, tres cute but what does he know about user-friendly? XD

Which just means I won't have an avatar here. I shouldn't have to change my browser for ONE website. Now, if this was the only avatar website and Chrome was such a CPU hog, I would. But Chrome is a CPU hog...more than firefox is.

I don't know what to say. I want to help - to make this better for you guys - and I'll try (plans on learning the coding languages involved so I can help), but I don't have the knowledge magically within me yet, and I am well aware that even were I to do so, there are situations that can't be fixed, and this might be one of them.
