I really hope the forums will pick up around the holidays, it's always sad/frustrating/annoying to be the only person online >.<.

I hope that it will become active again once the event starts in 1-2 months (if all goes well as the staff have stated).

As usual my job has ripped the holiday cheer from my bones. xD I feel like a scrouge and I am using my only day off till christmas to make gifts for others while watching movies.

Today is your only day off before Christmas Pog? MINE TOO. I just worked 8 days straight and now I have today off and not another one til Christmas. xP I exchanged gifts with my best friend and her family last night though and I got some EPIC STUFF so I am happy so I don't mind. xD

Lmao I only worked 7 days straight but it feels like forever since I have had time to just sit down and do some stuff. My last day off was for my friends graduation so that was an all day thing plus the hobbit xD.

No gift exchanging yet. I still haven't finish making alot of them @.@

We're having a lovely Christmas this year. We've pulled ourselves above the poverty line and we're having a lovely Christmas. I'm probably a bit overly excited for it. I can't wait for Christmas dinner above all else. Mmm, pirogies...

I'm trying, but seem to just lack the spirit for Christmas this year.

Are things going alright where you are? Did you want to talk about it? I know it can be really hard to get into it sometimes.

Feel a little better today.
Just clinical depression getting the upper hand while decorating the tree yesterday.
On an odd note, I found out about the Eggnog Riot on December 25, 1826

Wow, I looked up the eggnog riot too. That sounds awfully chaotic and fun at the same time, hehehe.

Man, I know about clinical depression. It sucks :C If you ever need someone to talk to, just gimme a hoot and a hollar and I'll be right there.

I gotta cook a ton of food for my family this Christmas x.x;; it's a lot of work but pretty rewarding :3

most holidays im just to frustrated because ic an't ever afford to get people something, this is the biggest holiday that depresses me. all though this years thanksgiving was darn close.

I don't have the Christmas spirit, haven't in years. The season is depressing to me to tell you the truth.

I think mom's cooking. Wooo. But other than that? Neither of us has been told about one side of the family's stuff, which sometimes they like to move around (like Thanksgiving, they moved it to somewhere we have no clue where), so we don't know.

So yeah. Fun.

Not hugely in the spirit this year, but I'm trying...at least for my family.

My family is trying...for the grandparents (they sort of command things when they want to :p

2/3 of us feel they could care less and just want to barge in to critique. It's been that way in the past, but we used to have today (Christmas Eve) to enjoy. Nowadays, things are too busy for that.

As for myself, I'll be writing/drawing (trying to finish them up)

Happy X-mas!

To be honest, I don't really have too much of a holiday spirit either. For a few years now X-mas and New Year have just been normal days where things are more stressful because of the whole "feast/decoration" part of them. I think the last time I ever thought fireworks and X-mas was exciting was when I was 19 or 20 so 2-3 years ago if not more.

So, overall the only thing I still care about when it comes to more or less any holiday is dressing up my avatar for it xD.

Still, I'd like to wish everyone a Merry X-mas :3.

I Hope everyone had a great Christmas I know I did it was so much fun and my mom made a great dinner it was so good I had an awesome time.

I just stayed home and slept/relaxed mostly

I'm visiting my dad and step family for Christmas and January this year. Means a relatively quiet celebration this year, minus the 2 year old. We only had 9 people. There were 28 at dinner back down south where I would normally be. I kind of miss the massive gathering but I make a point of alternating years up here and down there, so it's one less holiday decision I have to make.

I got a sewing machine for Christmas. Sort of a curious gift, but my family gathered from my facebook that I've been experimenting with sewing. I'll have to learn how to use the thing, since I've only ever worked by hand, and never with any proper stitches. If the fabric holds together, it's good enough for me. ;)
