1x1 [Poggio & Kenai] MATURE ~ United Underground

Plot
One Slave, One Master united by a common enemy from another planet. Will they survive?

Name: Sergio Mallister
Age: 16
Skills: Piloting planes, minor security hacking, male-prostitution, natural acrobatic, being rich
Biography: Sergio is heir to a business empire dominating the medical field with a sway in the criminal world, and a heavy hand in politics. Typical of men like his father Sergio was spoiled rotten and left to his own devices growing up. His "softness" was a disappointment to his father. Sergio's own troubled past aside he is surprisingly intelligent and innocent despite the people in his life. In the end though someone traded him in the flesh market, being the pretty boy that he is.
Description: Borne of a German father and Japanese-American mother. He has jet black hair from his mother, her almond shaped eyes and temperment. From his father he got his blue eyes...oh and as far as body modifications go: feline tail, enhanced smell/tastes for rich people food, enhanced night vision, and scales on his torso as a side-effect of his genetic tampering triggering a thankfully benign code in his DNA.

Poggio 03-22-2014 01:02 PM

Name: Jirazel Stigloni
Age: Unknown
Skills: Knows how to use a gun, a first aid kit and a credit card, a car. Can speak another language.
Biography: Jirazel was born a human. Through out the course of his life Jirazel made various choices that put him in curious positions, and now he has found himself on top. Most of his newly acquired wealth comes from military dealings, and the solicitation of information.
Description: Jirazel is tan to bronze colored in the sun, with thick brown hair most likely from a European linage. He is slightly above average height. His only medical modification is a side effect of his surgery. By splicing and replacing his spinal vertebrae to be similar to that of a feline, Jirazel is able to twist in different positions, as well as right himself in a fall to land on his feet. It has physically manifested itself in his eyes and makes him quite agile and flexible. Surrounding the diamond shaped pupil are Caribbean sea foam colored irises.

Behind dark shades, Jirazel walked through the isle of the market. His escort talked excitedly about breeds and genetics rubbing his hands greedily ready for the sale. He didn't have any particular use for a slave, though they had already bi-passed all of the ones that could do hard labor and were now drifting in the area that exuded a more primal, lustful smell. It was not unlike a brothel, though instead of renting he had enough currency to own. The faces amused him. They ranged from desperate to vengeful. They paused in front of one area in particular. The body inside was rumored to be of particular value not because of his tricks, but because of his linage. There was a story to be told and Jirazel knew an investment when he saw one. "The papers are all in order and your payment has already been processed." He was given the medical history of this particular boy as well as a small bio. He crouched down tot he steel bars. Peering inside it seemed the boy was just as unusual as rumor promised.

(Not sure when you want to start the revolt but he has already been paid for)

Sergio sat in his sell feeling so many things it took a conscious effort to feel numb to all of it. He hadn't been in his "cage" more than a week he was sure. He told them who he was; they knew. He said he was still a virgin and they didn't seem to give a rat's ass about it. But Sergio knew better than that. The more expensive he could make himself the better. A whole week and the worst advances he had to suffer were a few frisky potential clients that didn't want to pay his price tag.

The young man felt eyes digging into his back. They didn't call him so he took the time to stretch and yawn. When he finally turned to the door of his cage he saw a handsome man with brown skin looking bemused or perhaps pleased. Sergio walked over slowly as he threw his button shirt on. The grace in each step looked calculated yet natural. It was subconsciously feline even without his bug tail swishing behind him. 'Might as well play my part properly' he thought Then he saw the man's eyes and for a moment he remembered his father. Nothing about this man really reminded him of his father but those eyes were like the ones taken he'd taken from Sergio. He never realized he father was so petty.

Sergio was used to lying but thanks to the new limb he had to make more conscious efforts to suppress any non-verbal clues. Most of all his tail would betray him. Ironically despite his animal of choice he never had a cat before. So he wasn't sure if there was any language behind his tail besides...

"So you're my...new owner?" he asked. His eyes stole a quick glance at a folder containing a stack of papers.

Poggio 03-22-2014 11:16 PM

He studied the boy, surprised that they dare charge him so much. A smile crossed his lips. Silently his index finger curled around his upper lip and he watched, what was on the boys stomach? Reaching out, he felt the boys belly understanding it to be scales. He mused how much they contradicted the tail that swished along. It certainly did not fit well with the Japanese look. He smiled at the other. "Do not ask me any questions... " He referred to his paper to find the boys name. "Mr Mallister." His hands traced along the belly until they were cupping the young face, studying the strangely slanted blue eyes. Jirazel let go and gave the boy some breathing space. "All questions will be answered in due time. But I would assume that some things are pretty obvious. " With that he backed away from the door to the cell. "let him out so I can inspect him fully" He said to the seller. The sound of keys filled the area as the guards readied to restrain the soon to be released slave.

Kenai 03-23-2014 08:55 PM

The scales seemed solid black but sometimes looked more like a deep purple with a sprinkle of silver in them. When the man ran his hand over his scales Sergio barely felt the hand there. It seemed like irony at first for him to have a cat's tail and a fish's scales. Only those scales turned out to be reptilian. So it was less ironic but more protective which honestly was preferable to perhaps needing to stay moist all time.

The young man registered the guard's readiness and without taking a moment to think he surged forward effortlessly. The men, having been prepared and experienced in a multitude of other attempts of escapees moved just as fast. With a cat's reflex Sergio came to skipped coming to a stop and flipped vertically above the first man to reach him. He sent a powerful kick that connected his head.

The first one was down, though Sergio hadn't the knowledge to assume how long. What he did have however was an eye on the stouter man adjusting mid charge for this turning of tables. He had no chance to predict what the young man did next though. Sergio, still in mid air and unable to change directions, whipped his tail around the man's neck. He held tightly as he could swinging beneath the man like a pendulum, through his legs, then kicking back to shove the stout man face first into the floor. The guard was winded and unable to recover with Sergio's tail constricting his airways.

Sergio was rather impressed with himself and, at least for the moment, didn't hate his tail as much as usual. Just as quickly as it began, it was over. The young man let go of the guards throat and relaxed on his back. Sergio could be foolish but he wasn't stupid either. There was no way he could actually escape. Besides that there was no where to run. While there wasn't any proof, he was confident his father was the one the sell him into the market.

"Do you like?" he wore that easy smile rich boys like him all seem to have. Sergio was coming down from his high though and hoped his little display would not back fire.

Poggio 03-25-2014 05:27 PM

was slowly rising. Silently he waited until the show boating was done and the boy had posed a question to him. Smiling he said nothing. Slowly, his steps found him flushed with the boy looking down into those Japanese eyes. He could tell that Sergio was beaming with pride. "Do I like?" He repeated. Quickly he reached out and snatched the cat tail away from the guards neck and clenched it tightly in his hand. "I did not ask you to speak, and I certainly did not tell you to demonstrate why I am not here to buy you." Inching up the side of his pocket, Jirazel pulled out a sharp black Micarta knife. "But thank you for showing me somethings about you Mr. Mallister" He twisted the knife in his hand debating how short to cut the boys tail. "Give me 3 reasons why I should let you keep your tail, and then give me three reasons why a combat is necessary in a sex slave."

Kenai 03-25-2014 09:32 PM

Sergio winced, whether it was from the pull of his tail or the prospect of it being cut wasn't in his thoughts right now. This man wanted obedience from him, and perhaps respect, but Sergio seriously doubted his master cared for a slave's respect. Still it was hard not to feel respect for the man.

Gulp. "A tail is a popular fetish, it's softness is a good pillow, and said texture is more fun in a tickle fight than a feather." he started getting more ideas but his master demanded only three. Sergio bit his lip as he demanded his brain to recall the second question.

"Combat is not the least bit necessary. But maybe useful for you depending on whom I'm...servicing. A rich man needs as many guards as he can trust and no one would suspect a sex slave to do more than be mildly inconvenient if they are even loyal. Likewise what client would expect pretty little me capable of harming them? And." he looked back down at the knife before returning his glace back to his master's face. "...hmm I'm afraid I can't think of a third for this one." 'Besides the fact I want to move up from what I am now.' Sergio wouldn't dare say that right now though. Would the reasons he gave be enough?

Poggio 03-25-2014 11:03 PM

He laughed listening to the reasons bubble forth from the youth. He waited until he came to a halt admitting that he did not have a 3rd reason. Such innocent and conviction in the face it only served to make him laugh harder. "Loyalty? You are a purchase? What did you mean Loyalty? How do I know you wont asphyxiate me?" Tightening his grip on the tail he pulled it taunt wondering where was the best place to cut it. "Answer me, if I bought you what reason do you have to be loyal to me? Especially when you do not know who I am." WIth that he took his eyes away from the tale and looked at the young boy directly. Life was not so easy, and he was not some spoiled rich person who merely wanted a whore. Nor did he want this boy to have cause to kill him.

Kenai 03-25-2014 11:23 PM

Sergio thought he would squirm as the grip on his tail tightened. It was the sheer malicious will within that man that made him uneasy though. 'Why is he making me prove myself?'

"I have no where go. Jesus's second coming would arrive sooner than my father would let me have any of his assets again. You want me obedient to you? You shall have that any way you please and I'm powerless to do more than rebel and die for it." he paused, subconscious pursing together his lips as he gauged what would happen if he was truly honest and bold enough. Sergio contemplated being more submissive but the idea of his life being nothing but fucking til he didn't make money anymore made him just too sick to think about.

"I want to be more than someone's boy toy. Like hell I'll be more than that for a while...but like I said I've no where to go. If eventually I earn my keep and you move me up I'll learn loyalty. If there's anything you need me to do to get there master please tell me." Sergio felt a deep self-hate. Reduced to a mouse begging a cat for crumbs. Might be the cat will give him one crumb, or maybe he will kill him slowly for sport.

Poggio 03-26-2014 03:06 PM

The boy failed to realize that outside the building he was not longer held to the standards of having so many guards around. It would be just the two of them. The words did not completely make him trust the lad. He pulled the tail taunt and trailed the knife across until it hit the curve of his back. He paused and laughed. "You poor child, you know nothing of the real world." He let the furry appendage drop. This time his hand found its way around the youthful face. Studying it for a moment he leaned in close, sniffing, before giving the lips an abrasive chase kiss. Drawing back he looked as though he had just been to a wine tasting. To soft to be what he claimed to be, too eager to prove himself. Jirazel couldn't help but be a little disappointed. "Well let me tell you something, showing off pretty boy will get you nothing but a quick grave." He said sternly, narrowing his eyes. "Loyalty and trust are not luxuries any more." His hand dropped after giving the face a firm squeeze. "I do not know where you want to move to, but you are going to have to earn it. "

Slowly he motioned for one of the guards. "Let's go..." As he gave the command the building seemed to shake with the force of an earth quake. Simultaneously many pairs of eyes peered from behind their steel bars. The owner of the market called out to someone and many of the guards scrambled into motion. Uncaring of the outside chaos, Jirazel motioned for his newest possession to follow him. The rumbles grew the closer they came to the exit. Shit, shit shit. Another loud crash, and a giant metal flaming object crashed through the roof. Many of the guards went to asses the damage, however in the buildings moment of weakness a lot of the slaves caught the opportunity.

Jirazel pulled the young boy close as they gained momentum into a run. Outside of the building more the attacks came, faster, brighter and deadlier. He needed to get to his car, get more weapons, figure out what was going on because it looked like an air raid from highly advanced ships. He turned to Sergio beckoning him to crouch by the metal. They were early. He did not have time to gather nearly enough slaves to sell to them. It seems they were simply going to eradicate the entire human race with out subjects to test on.

Kenai 03-27-2014 12:40 PM

"Yes, master" he bit out in pain. Truthfully he wanted to say more but whatever his new master was he preferred his slaves silent. Sergio was barely able to keep track of what happened next. The sound of explosions and screams fill the whole building up. One the screams must have been his as he was dragged and forced to sprint to keep up.

Obediently he crouched behind the metal wreckage. Sergio was no air craft affectionado but he did know one and he was sure that friend would've told him about that one bad ass of a ship hovering near by. His master was tense but still calm. Obviously thinking so Sergio didn't say a word. Now would be a good time to run off. There were plenty of other people running about...and most of them dying. Begrudgingly Sergio decided stay so he could live.

Poggio 04-01-2014 05:39 AM

The plan was falling to piece all around him. He wasn't suppose to have the kid, he was suppose to be on an escape pod with the Aliens. "Listen, one stop calling me Master. My name is Jirazel, two this was not suppose to happen." He felt slightly heroic some what spitting out cliched lines that he felt he heard in a movie. He looked at the young boy, at least he was keeping his composure? Or was that training of servitude. Unsure Jizrael slid his hands down to his weapon. "Look kid, the plans up in smoke and I have an under ground bunker that we can wait this out, but we have to get to it. There isn't going to be any money in this so if we survive you are free to go." He dared a look at the boy. "If we can get to a car, we can get to the underground. Now come on Sergio." He saw an opening to weave in between cars and he took it coming up to one that looked pretty fast but it was locked. Taking his dagger he smashed the window, praying it was a smart enough car that he did not need a key to steal it. He was in a little bit of luck as it turned it was, the bad news that it came with a loud alarm. Yanking the door free from its lock, he slid inside and started it up. "Come on kid if you want to live."

Kenai 04-03-2014 08:23 PM

He blinked once when the man's demeanor changed then blinked a second time when he, Jirazel, handed him a gun. Before Sergio could stupidly blink a third time Jirazel was bounding off towards a car. The young man followed behind at his heels as the words finally set in. 'Thank God that alarm turns off with the ignition'

Sergio was practically in the seat already before the man could finish his sentence. He leaning down in his seat and inspecting the hand gun. Unfortunately he never actually used one before Sergio bit his lip trying to recall times he saw one being used. A knife would have been more useful to him but then again not so useful while in a car.

Before they were away he had to know, "What exactly was your original plan with me? I actually thought you were buying me for servitude." Somehow that's what he really wanted to know. Not the fact someone was bombing the city hell, nor the fact Jirazel seemed to know it was coming. Those things Sergio was able to take completely in stride.

Poggio 04-04-2014 10:53 AM

He could not look at the boy and drive at the same time. "Are you aware that you are worth nearly 500-1 Million dollars based on the fact alone that any pharmaceutical company that gets their hands on you will have your fathers secrets? His genetic testing, his DNA, codes and anything he has done as an experiment on you?" Jirazel let the weight of his words set in before continuing. "None of that matters, The Axlton were willing to pay twice as much as any company."

He drove as fast as he could dodging other escaping cars that had grown aware of the imminent danger. "You see, we are like apes to them, genetically close enough for testing and seemingly beneath them enough that as a species our lives aren't worth more then a pet. They were going to pay me much more handsomely to use you as a test subject. It seems they changed their minds and opted for a take over instead." He kept to the side roads, hoping that every panicking city dweller thought the highway was a good idea. "My bunker is in the underground. We will be there shortly" He said making a drastic turn to avoid people trying to run.

Kenai 04-04-2014 11:16 PM

'That's it?' Sergio didn't believe him and found it harder to believe he was almost sold to...what aliens?

"You've got to be shitting me. THOSE are aliens?" he said point to one of the many aerocrafts in the sky. It was dubious that anyone other than Jirazel actually heard him but nonetheless a small craft appeared from behind a building directly behind.

"Uh...Jirazel check your rear-view mirror."

Poggio 04-09-2014 12:49 AM

He didn't have much time to scoff, before Sergio was pointing out something in his rear vision. Taking another turn this time he made the car dip dangerously into an abandoned street down the dark side of a building complex. "Yes those beings are Aliens, Steven Hawking was correct, and..." He didn't finish as they came to the end of the way through the buildings only to find more Aliens distracted on the other side. He pushed automatic as fast as it could go. It would be another block before they could reach the entrance to the underground.

Reaching into his pocket, he found his phone. He sent a text out and this time as one of the mysterious vessels attempted to attack, it was promptly shot out of the air. Jirazel smiled and spared a glance at Sergio. His smile some what dropped unsure what to do with the kid. "How old are you?" He asked taking yet another turn before going to the edge of the building and parking in its shadows. "And I have to know, how did you end up as a slave?"

Kenai 04-09-2014 09:39 PM

Sergio's hand clutched the gun tightly but only because he didn't want to drop it while holding on for dear life in the passenger seat. There were small attack crafts flying ahead. They were probably about as big as a suv when you accounted for their sleek profile that gave it a sporty look despite its size.

Although still tense from trying not to wet his knickers his automatically responded with "Old enough." in a soft suggestive tone. "I don't consider monologuing my past productive to surviving right now. But you know what might be useful for you to know? I can fly planes, and I left some backdoors in my father's company. Literally and metaphorically. Oh and let's not forget I can kick ass in close quarters."

Sergio held out the gun. "If I don't need this I'd rather someone who knows how to shoot has it."

Poggio 04-09-2014 10:17 PM

The answer some what sedated him for the moment. "Good enough, I would have prefer to know more personally about you before inviting you to the underground." With that he looked at the the gun and unbuckled himself gesturing for the boy follow. It was another block of walking in the shadows and then Jirazel showed him the entrance. Pulling a side a sewer grate he told the other to go first down into the darkened hole and to stop once he hit the platform. Once inside he covered the hole back up. He took Sergio's hand in the darkness and led the way while his other hand was pressed against the wall. Every so often he felt a knoch with told him which direction to turn, until they entered a low lit underground slum.

"Listen, at this point, I don't give a damn about your past, but since I brought you into this I will at least make sure you can survive. All you need to know right now is the Aliens screwed us over. We are going to be in for the fight for man kind. Technically you are still my property, and if you are going to rise up like you wanted you'd better play it smart and try not to piss any one off." They traveled past a few of the market stalls as the keepers nodded in Jirazels wake. Eventually they came to a small hut along the rows and entered it. It was not the grand apartments above the ground but it was home. It was a two room shack, a place for the bathroom and the rest of the living space which comprised of his goods. "Make yourself at home, keep the gun. Even if you can't use it the right way you can use it the wrong way. I'm going to go find you something better to wear." With that he left the boy to get acquainted with his belongings and his new somewhat freedom.

Kenai 04-09-2014 11:06 PM

Sergio held Jirazel's hand willingly in the claustrophic darkness.Thoughts of Alligators or rats running up in pants made him anxious. More anxious than the thought of aliens, at least until he thought of the sentinels from the Matrix.

The stench of the sewers was perhaps the grosses thing he ever smelled to honest he was somehow unsure, nonetheless he used his free hand to hold his shirt over his nose and mouth as if it would help. The slums they exited into smelled marginally better but breathable. He couln't believe what he was seeing. It was like stepping into a fictional story cause he was pretty sure that no one actually designed cavernous areas in the sewers big enough or any comparts close enough to house a community like this.

"I never try to piss anyone off." Despite this hovel being located, literally, in the cesspool of mankind some of the items in the stalls were made his eyes shine. Of course he was ignored and Jirazel was acknowledge. It bothered Sergio but fore-front on his mind was the word "property". How it tasted so distasteful in his mouth these days. Sure Jirazel was treating him alright NOW. But Sergio had little choice in the matter as the now strangely friendly master of his was his best option.

"Right-o Sir!" he threw a lazy salute and swished over to the kitchen portion of the room and rummaged through everything to find something to eat. There were military rations and various non-perishable foods tucked away and... "Would like some tea?" Sergio wasn't waiting for an answer to start putting together what looked like industrial high-end camping gear. Probably connected in some way to the military rations but who cared? Sergio had his tea and thankfully the placed was stocked with potable water! Whatever took his mind off the very subtle indications of things happening on the surface.

Poggio 04-15-2014 02:00 PM

It was a long time before he made it to the center of underground the others were already bickering. So many questions so many choices to make now. They had various news feeds into the above world and none of it looked good. The group that gathered were all mercenaries like himself, trying to make a buck. They were a mixture of humans and genetically modified humans, even a cyborg . The bickering paused once Jirazel came into view. For a long time they listened to him about the situation, and about how even if they got what the monsters wanted, they would not be sitting pretty on their own commandeered planet. They could either fight for what was left of earth or wait to die or try and escape the planet. It would be a few days before they reached a consensus on what they needed to do. When he returned back to his hut, it smelled unfamiliar and walking through the door he saw that Sergio had already made himself at home, by making...tea?" There was nothing he had ready about that told him anything about the boys personality, but it just seemed so strange. He laughed. "Did you cook dinner too?" HE said folding his arms as he inspected the scene.

Kenai 04-15-2014 05:05 PM

The young lad huffed when he realized the reason for the silence was that Jirazel already walked out. Sergio didn't understand how he wanted him to act. Sure he could be himself but that was when he was a rich boy, for months now he'd been the compliant servant.

So continuing on from that role he searched the entire cabin, afterall Jirazel never said he was forbidden from anything. About an hour in he decided to see what those papers were. They were all vague messages save for legal documents, maps and a few that (he guessed) were electrical diagrams. So the unpredictable man didn't keep a hard copy of anything useful around. A few

'Who am I now?' It was frustrating and all the while it seemed Jirazel was trying to size him up for something. speak of the devil, he just walked in while he was sipping a second cup of tea in one hand still trying to make sense of some diagrams with his other.

"I thought about it but you didn't tell me when you would be back. No sense in making an MR taste even worse " He smiled

Sergio put the papers down and restacked them exactly as they were. "I didn't bother to hack your computer without tools. Anyway how was work or whatever?" He never got up from the seat, just kept sipping his tea.

Poggio 04-18-2014 10:14 PM

He knelt before Sergio. Reaching up, he curled his fingers around the others capturing them between his palm and the mug and gently tipped the mug towards his lips drowning some of the boys tea out of cup, while his lips were still on the rim. He looked into the dark eyes. "Why would you want to hack my laptop? What could be on it that you want to know about?"

He gave a slight hmm as he took another sip still not relinquishing Sergio's hand. He continued to stare the other in the eye as he talked. "Furthermore what I do is not important right now. Just know its going to be hell for a while." With that he took a deep breath "It seems the aliens are interested in terra-forming the planet, and are backing out of their deal with me and my collegues for their our own planet. Right now they are destroying everything, and the fight for the planet has begun. Since you are very skilled in combat you may be put on scavenging duty.

Unless you want to come with me. We are going to start expanding the underground for expectant survivors that can not fight back or need a place to recuperate. Until then you are a guest here but that does not give you the right to snoop through my belongings. Food and clothes are fair share, my weapons and my tech are not. Understood?" His grip tightened around the hand waiting for the answer.

Kenai 04-19-2014 06:09 PM

He gasped and commanded himself not to jerk back his hand or be overly-deviant of his touch. It didn't feel bad but Jirazel was being to being the harsh master he met him has. This time though with understandable clause.

"I didn't even attempt hacking the computer or touching the weapons. It seemed that would be an abuse of 'Making myself at home.' Here I think the expression 'curiosity killed the cat' could be very fitting." Sergio let out a short breath to calm his nerves some. This man was scary, but also very aggravating. He didn't fear killing him so much as what the consequences would be.

"I did not mean to snoop but I see now that I did. Sorry sir." Sergio badly wanted another sip of the tea. Go with him? Like hell! Yet...

"What does expanding the underground mean for work?"

Poggio 04-20-2014 12:48 PM

"Cheese and crackers kid, stop with the formality. Only old people are called Sir, call me Jira Jirazel and we are cool." Wandering over to the pot he plucked through his box of tea bags until he found a jasmine tea he liked. He took his favorite mug "Also don't touch this cup" And pour what was left of the water into it.

When he was near the cooking area he found pots and since the boy did not make any food he decided it would be best to do so for the both of them. He started a pot to boil and make soup.

"Yes work. Do you think the people down here are going to be the only survivors of an alien assault? We well need to feed them house them and train those who can to fight back against the Aliens that are attacking. We can either reclaim the planet by driving them off or try and fight for some realms of coexistence. I am not sure which." Rummaging around he pulled out a dried smoke meat and dropped it into the pot.

"We are going to need more intelligence on them then what we have. We were obviously not expecting them to attack us and can not trust what we know so far. We are going to need to scour for food and resources. And that Kitty is where you come in. I am sure you and others can raid shops with out dying or getting captured."

Kenai 04-21-2014 03:20 PM

He smirked "Cheese and crackers?" Sergio felt more at ease again and went to sip his tea only for the cup to be empty. Damn it. "Seriously all the tea?"

Sergio got up and more or less set the table for the soup and pulled an extra seat there for Jirazel as he listened. "Scavenging sounds like a decent job. Besides what I saw on the way here do you know anything else about their technology that I need to know?" he added "For my own sake. If they got lightbending technology or something. I don't want to be caught with my pants down and all."

Poggio 04-22-2014 06:09 PM

Shaking his head he focused on trying to conjure up an image of what the aliens looked like. "No, you never need to be caught with your pants down." He said jokingly as he picked up the spoon and scooped out a bit of the soup to taste it. Abandoning the soup he took the seat near the table and cradled his fresh cup of tea. " That is the hard part Sergio."

He hated to admit it. "So far the only differences that we can visually see, are that they are slightly phosphorescent, and they can not speak like a human, though it is easier for us to be trained to speak like them. They however as far as we know possess a far greater intelligence then we do, most of their powers seemed to be short range telepathic abilities, but for the most part they look like taller then average genetically modified humans, and that is what makes it hard. Unless it is night or they speak, it is hard to tell if they are human or not. "

He took another sip of his tea. "Alright, welcome to your new life kid, as of right now I will give you the next five minutes to get out any questions you have."

Kenai 04-28-2014 05:11 PM

He was grinning too, the image of him accidentally shitting on one of the aliens was a very amusing thought. But not one he'd voice now, wouldn't want to ruin Jirazel's appetite. 'Then again we are in a sewer he couldn't be that squemish'

Seeing as the man abandoned his own soup Sergio he grabbed his bowl rather than make his own. It couldn't be any different in the pot and better not to waste dishes afterall right? Sergio sniffed at it warily for its flavor then started eating, and listening.

"huh" he said taking the spoon that had been hanging out of his mouth and thoughtfully waving in in the air. "So hypothetically I could be trained to speak like them and be like an runt running some menial task?" that was assuming he didn't need telepathy to communicated with them as well. Scientist never quite figured out how to do more than stimulate certain emotions. Which now that he thought about it would've been useful for his most recent occupation before this one...'stop being distracted!'

"Actually that's rhetorical don't answer that." the spoon pointed at the man as a serious look of contemplation passed over his face. He had 5 minutes to make count. But what would he ask? Jirazel already was setting boundaries with what he could and couldn't do.

"When we met, no offense, but you were a jackass. Now you're just tough but actually quite fair. Honestly what kind of...employer are you? Also do I get individual rights of an actual person?"

He watched the lad eat as he talked wondering if they had bothered to feed him while he was held captive. "I can already speak like them" He confessed ignoring Sergio's outburst. He let that information settle into the boy, before thinking about his other question. It just made him laugh and shake his head. "Rights of an individual person? you make it sound like its some far fetch idea that our founding fathers did not have in mind. You are aware that slavery is constitutionally illegal?" He said taking another sip of his cup. "Hence why you were being sold in the black market, but I am not sure asking me what kind of employer I am. I like to think I will do what is necessary to get my agenda done. But yes you get your rights even when you are being a show off, or a brat or a spoiled rich kid in a cage. Just like I get the right to smack you in the head if you piss me off. Fair?"

Amused he moved away from the table. Careful not to leave his tea where greedy hands could grab it. Walking over to a pile of books he found one in particular that had hand writing in it and dumped it on the table beside Sergio's bowl. "If you want to learn to speak like them here is what I have of their language. I expect you to still go on scouting until you mastered it. No need to risk your life doing something stupid. Anything else?"
