How does this coloring book work?
I keep a collection of line art. Then someone, perhaps you, takes that line art and colors it in. =) I have a short "tutorial" so to speak on how to color line art. But it's mostly figuring out what works for you in which program. And it's entirely for fun. Also I would like to display what you colored in so please PM me or post in the thread to show off! <3


Can I contribute?
Anyone can contribute ling art so long as you hold rights over that picture. So you are the artist or the recipient of the art work in question.

What if I want to show off my work off-site?
You should feel proud, but don't forget that the line art you colored is not your own. Give the artist/owner their fair share of credit do okay? ;)

What counts as line art?
Well if it can be colored in then maybe it is line art. Not all line art is super clean like anime or manga. And not all line art is digital nor devoid of texture. If you're not sure then Private Message me the picture (so that it doesn't get lost in the thread).

Does the file type matter?
It's not super important but PNG is preferred over JPEG/JPG files. The reason being that JPEG images pixelate the more you save it. While PNG files don't degrade no matter how many times you save.

Yeah when I made the original I didn't think it would need to be organized like so. Anywho I need to figure out a contest to draw people in this thread. Do you know what older items are in demand right now? Summer is coming and that means activity will dramatically drop soon.

Hard to say what's the most popular cause we don't really have enough active users to get a good consensus on the matter. What we need is to draw in more users and keep them. @_@

Oh I just love paper. I think bamboo is my favorite. I've tasted pine as well but never in paper form. I am most curious but generic paper is so heavily processed it doesn't taste anything like pine =(

Well my bold declaration is from past experience on avatar sites overall. Gaia being the exception of course. But that place never seems to slow down.

I don't get why Gaia Online users complain about the rising amount of Cash Shop items that require real life money yet they all stay there encouraging the owners to keep doing as they have been. They're idiots. Oh well, not much I can do about it. :|

hehe well no red dye here. Red certainly tastes funky. (Seriously ever taste red food dye? bleh)

I've no idea the forums. I stuck to the necessities of events, the comics, some games, help forums, and finally guilds. ^_^

I haven't tested it yet but if I don't like the current color combo I should be able to change the color of an entire layer easily. And no not using the bucket tool. I'm hoping the end result is doesn't clash.

I'm lazy so I haven't finished yet....I could actually compile my many WIPs. Sadly those WIPs will never be complete since those files were lost with my cyan usb drive =( I swear someone in this house has been stealing drives, my floppies and my camera! >=[

Wizard 101 is an free mmo I like to play. And its turn-based combat slow paced enough that I can alternate between playing and posting. =3 IF you ever decide to play let me know and I'll have one of my characters join you. ^_^ But I won't lie, the game is only free to play til about level 10. You can get to level 90 if you want but it's mighty difficult because free players can't progress past a certain map.

If I was just coloring the weapon it'd be done. But I'm trying to draw it...and I lost my tablet's pen so it's even harder. I gave up yesterday after 3 ugly prototypes. I looked for some tablets on craig's list. Found one really awesome deal. Only it's 30 minutes away in a place I've never been. If it was Raleigh I wouldn't have an issue. But it's morrisville and I couldn't navigate myself out of a paper bag even with sissors.

But the only thing that reminds me of is some card game called 'elements'?

Yeah I understand. I didn't play until I got my first laptop. Even then I did play Ragnarok on my 1998 Lenovo tower xD Booooy was that difficult in towns and with mobs.

Pay to play sucks. But I'm so addicted to this game that since I started playing like 3 years ago I've been at least $400 now.

Navigation issues is why I love teleporting. Any game that has that system gets abused by me x3

yeah no regular pen will work and this thingy I have is way out of date. I might as well spend 80 bucks on a new basic tablet.

You can try your local craig's list? I found sweet deal on a gaming desktop for $100. Sadly I only have 60 thanks to an earlier shopping spree at khol's.

I'm cheap too but I'm so freaking addicted that Kingisles can have all my monies and I'm still happy >w> A yearly subscription isn't more than normal, I just spent a lot more on houses and mounts. I like decorating them houses. Fortunately most furniture and stuff is gold not crowns. Only the better homes require crowns to buy.

Maybe it's the HUD with the map on it? I'm better at navigating in games as well but if there isn't a arrow pointint me in the correct destination I'm opening the map like a gazillion times.

I got some braclets and belts. Because I need to be occupied at all times bracelets let me do that and look nice. And belts because I used to be 28 waist and there's nothing my size. I've recent gained weight and now a 29 so 30s don't fall off me but I still need belts if for no other reason that to not feel naked without one. p=

Indeed they do. Wiz 101 almost feels money grubby sometimes but none of the stuff they advertise in the cash shop is majorly necessary in any sense save for one thing: a mount, because maps get bigger later game. And the cheapest mount is worth $2 while being just as fast as the fancier mounts.

Skyrim? nope to the map or to the teleporting?
I love teh game. But no matter how hard I try I FAIL at melee combat. So archery and magic every time. My Stamina investment is strictly so I can run the hell away xD

Ah. XD I have a few armbands and belts. I love my studded belts. I also have studded suspenders that just hang downwards sorta like cross belts. XD But I don't wear them too often sadly.DX

The game does have teleportation and best of all I can port to people on my friends list. makes it much easier to finish quests and stuff.

Not as easy as you might think. It has an arrow to follow for quests you go on. Unless you're talking about Sonny but I feel like that's not the case xD

@Vincent: Aside from using magic the freedom in skyrin is what i like. Despite my ability to get lost there just so much to explore it's hardly dull. Especially when a dragon may attack you from no where.

Which is another thing. XD I've never been one for the date skyrim is set in.

And yeahh I played 7 about halfwayish. Final fantasy 8 all the way, Final fantasy 9 about 3/4ths...10 all the way thru (i loved the monster arena in that one! XD)
andd thats bout it. 10 was my favorite so far x3 I don't care for the new final fantasies /: not enough actual gameplay, its more like a movie...

I'm craving 8 so bad right now. And that's before our RP involving a little bit of Balamb Garden. And 12 has plenty of gameplay, personally I thought it was pretty good. Put about 80 hours into that thing.

I have played tactics, 2,3,4,5, and 6 through the very beginning parts. Only 6 seemed really good but someone sold my game without permission. I have finished 7 and 8 all the way through. I wish I went to Balamb garden. I only got as far as the cutscene where they attack the Iifa tree on 9. The disk got stuck there.

Now 10 just plain pissed me off. I fought Yunalesca 4 times and she petrifies the entire team every time even with stone ward. I wasn't going to grind for hours just to get one stoneproof. So I never actually passed the game and I hate irrationally for that one reason.

12 is a bit too.. idk. XD free. again. I just couldn't get into it. Dx
8 is fun, just wish you didnt have to draw like 100 times to get stuff Dx

Thats. Horrible ;~; I think I went to disk 3 on 9 o-o' Just lost motivation cuz it was sooo long. XD

Yunalesca was really hard my first time through x.x' My strategy for that time was to get all the aeons in Overdrive so I can unleash them one by one on her second and third forms. XD

On my second playthrough, I did ALOT better and she was really easy cuz I overpowered a bit and was hitting for like... 5000-6000 with each character or something xD Was really surprising.

In the monster arena, your damage limit can go all the way up to 99,999 per hit o_o' and the strongest monster has like 10 million hp. XD /although not much strategy is really involved in it, theres more strategy in all the bosses before him sadly. XD

That you played final fantasy. That was what you were asking when you asked how I knew right?

Oh I see, I didn't think of 12 as free roaming. Well you don't reaally have to draw 100 times. But it makes it a lot easier doesn't it? I draw from that Ultima spot until I have a whole stack and then some. I feel so freaking powerful. I loved the junction system more than I did the sphere grid. ;p

Did you at least get to see the cool animation where all the airships of lindblum show up and the Iifa tree and start shooting dragons out of the sky? It's as awesome as the scene from 8 where the Garden clash. But perhaps not as awesome. I'm not sure.

In other words you went and level grinded?
I should've used that strategy. I used brute force and potions. Which only took long the first time cause I wasn't ready for all those status effects.

Well it does, and because I'm a somewhat completionist, yes i do.
BUT I LOVED THE CARD GAME IN 8. Not to mention you can mod the cards into items/spells 8D

I guesss. It's REALLY easy to level grind in Zanarkand, the monsters give really good exp there. You should consider spending a few minutes in there. XD
