Mail Woes
 

So, I've been trying to get this game.
The first time, I ordered it. About 2 days later, the seller said he 'shipped it out'. About one or two days after that, another e-mail was sent saying 'he couldn't find it, since it seems to have 'walked off' somewhere' and he sent me a refund.
Well. Dude. Why the alksd did you say you 'shipped it' when in actuality, you DIDNT?
Just.

Anyway. I went to another seller now. It took this one about... 3-4 days to send an email saying THEY shipped it.
I checked about a day after, checking the tracking number up, and it says it's (in transition of being delivered to the post office).
Why do people do this?
Anyway, its been about a good 2-3 days since then and it's finally on it's way, I believe.
Still hasn't arrived yet. /sadly it's Sunday
But still. Just. Urgh.

So, share your experiences with mail orders, whether they be bad or good, or even mail orders you might be waiting on right now. XD

Well, my most valuable possession was mailed from Islamabad...it's a book, and one that I won't be able to add to the library :-(

I probably have one of the few "civilian" copies available. They're mostly in the "private" section of universities/museums/etc.

Well...I was looking for something akin to a book from Leonardo da Vinci, and got one from Al-Jazari instead. XD

Not really a book collector...just a little bit of everything.

Err...makes it necessary to prioritize and somewhat more difficult to do any one thing well. But, yeah.

Hmm Well maybe just choose a couple of things each day or week or so you wanna aim towards? x3

I have had those problems before. I am waiting on a package and 3 days after they said it got shipped out it finally registered at the post office.

I've actually waited several months past due for a package before.

It sucks when people do thatt. :c I mean if your life is so 'busy' that for 3 days after you say you 'shipped it', you don't get it to the office, you shouldn't be selling til your life 'calms down' XP

I think it was actually on the post office, the package is being shipped from Poland and I was warned that it could take up to a month to get here.

Ah. Yeah thats the danger of ordering stuff from other countries. XD
I havn't done that yet, but who knows.
I'm eventually going to start wanting stuff from Japan. XD

I don't order things that will take a while because I hate waiting on packages. Any more than 7-10 days and I usually reconsider. I also usually only buy from actual retail locations or places fulfilled by Amazon.

Lol I do a bit of cosplaying and if there's one thing I learned. DON"T ORDER STUFF OVERSEAS IF YOU'RE RUNNING OUT OF TIME. Your costume will never arrive on time.

I ordered from Etsy, and I knew it would take for ever but still..... i hate waiting.

My sister ordered from etsy once and it never came so she called them angrily and asked them what happened and so they sent her a new one.

Only I'd look weird wearing them on a day - to - day basis. XD

Cosplaying is for special occasion usually but people really like being the character so much they'll wear the costume normally.

I just like the clothes. xD I think they look neat. If I end up looking like a character then oops. XD

No just the stuff I used is out of date and needs to be either replaced or fixed.
