Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire (IT'S HAPPENING)

We all knew this was happening; but maybe not quite this soon? Especially today of all days, it's May. There was no pre-announcement, let alone a full blown trailer (Nintendo might actually show off the new Pokemon games at E3 for a change.)

So who's excited for explore the Hoenn region once again... Possibly, the trailer said "new world" but it will most likely be Hoenn. Gen 3 had possibly the best region to explore in my opinion; tons of exploring in the vast ocean is the first memories that come to mind. Also the mountains and roads that I seem to keep missing...

Kyogre and Groundon have new looks on the cover; possibly mega forms. Or maybe some sort of form change? Omega form and Alpha form? Who knows, they only received awesome skin changes; but it's still interesting to look at.

So what are you excited for? The return of contests? The battle frontier? (WOOT WOOT. Battle factory.) The new updated or entirely new story? What city are you looking forward to see revamped?
And the most important question of all; what version are you getting?
(I'm going with Sapphire once again. Team Aqua = The most evil team ever.. Even though their plan would had simply be to let it rain forever...)

Wasn't that the game with the treehouse hangouts?! OuO I loved that feature the most! I miss having a hangout ;-; I had an epic underground hangout in D/P too

I'll 'TRY' to get both games but Mom and I are planning to move the end of this year/beginning of next year so we have to save up as much money as we can... ;-;

they haven't even released Diancie to us yet and they're giving us new games?! xD I want my Diancie!

(warning, image may be fake) Looks like Mudkip and Treeko might get a Mega Evolution now =) Awesome! and that whole arrows pointing to rayquaza then to a shadow... don't tell me they are gonna FUSE the pokemon D: DNA Evolution Kyoquedon (mon)? x'D

I hated it that we could only have 1 base, and most the convenient ones to get to were so small... You couldn't fly to your base, making some bases too out of reach, and you couldn't do much else but show them off to friends.

Diamond and Pearl bases were much more fun, especially playing capture the flag. It was just the matter of actually finding a friend to play with....

I LOVE GEN 3! I'm likely going to be getting Sapphire again. Kyogre <3

I'm excited for contests, secret bases, Pokeblock making, among other things. And I'm hoping for them to incorporate some things from X/Y, like customization, and uhhh... Well I haven't played X/Y, so I don't really know owo;

BUT. I'm still excited as heck.

I never had a friend to play with, but with the 3DS's street and spot pass system, if they ever remake D/P I'm sure we'd all be able to play together! =)

I find it funny that were getting new games while we haven't even received Diance or any of the "secret" event Pokemon from X and Y yet.

I don't think I can handle any more Pokemon. I think I'm done. I still play around in SS, and haven't finished Black yet. Too much!

I'm so excited for this because 3rd gen was the one I played the least. Not because I didn't like it but because at the time I had to use a Gameboy Advanced and I didn't have a rechargable battery pack like I did for my Gameboy Color.

So I can't wait to play it again. :] I have Sapphire version before so I'm definitely getting Alpha Sapphire. I got an Emerald version a year or 2 ago to play through it but I kept getting annoyed that you couldn't run in houses so I didn't get very far. :I

LOL. Running in buildings is such a nice feature, I feel like a jerk sometimes with it though.
Think about it, I could break into some grannies house, run around talking to everyone like some maniac, steal all their goods, scare them to teach me their family's secret Pokemon move, or simply force them to trade me their rare pokemon for some crappy one you can catch outside in a minute.
Running only adds more rudeness in the midst of it all.

I think mom's agree'd to help me get the games. Mainly because since my GBA SP's are dead I can't play the original ruby any more. can't wait now! so many goodies are coming out this year x3

It looks like they will be revealing actual game-play via trailer on Sunday during Pokemon Smash. So we will be getting more details soon! (I was hoping on a E3 showcase but then I forgot that Nintendo will be revealing things before E3 on their own schedule.)

You know what I realized? This is the first time in Pokemon game history that there will be a paradox. It's the first time where the same game will exist twice where they are compatible. Like, you can literally play Sapphire version, take the Kyogre and move it all the way to Alpha Sapphire. I really hope there is some kind of secret where something happens if you do just that, take the legendary from the original game and move it to the new one. haha

That's right! The reason the first games were remade in the first place was so they would be compatible with the new ones and you could "catch 'em all." I wanted Hoenn to be remade because that was the only generation I hadn't played before, but I doubted they would be since they were compatible with current games. I'm super excited for it now though!

Mega Swampert man! He missed leg day, but he looks like a muscular brute! I love it! I don't know why a steroid induced Swampert is so cool but he is! And Mega Sceptile looks awesome, Grass/Dragon? Yes please. But seriously.. Lightning Rod as his hidden ability? I guess it will counter Rotom-Wash... Which I believe might be the reasoning for this ability?

And is anyone else bothered by Ruby's official art? The redesign looks fine in the game, but the official art. His face is just too derpy. I like it that I can tell that it's actually a hat he's wearing though, I always thought it was his hair when I was a kid.

Oh and it looks like Team Aqua won the best designed villains award. Which is great news because Team Aqua is the best <3
I'm a little upset that there are hardly any images of the overworld which I was looking forward to seeing the most. But hey E3 is almost here, and Nintendo will most likely be showing off a trailer for the games. :/ )

Why are they showing a Mega Dianie though.. thats a Legendary for X & Y? She looks pretty and I wants her just for the mega form

When I played Ruby way back when I only liked Treeco.. so Mega Sceptile FTW! *-*

I wanted to see what they added to the game. I know the things that I love on X & Y wont be in this game because its a remake but still ono it'd be nice to have them. -pets PSS and Training-

I wanna see what the hideout/tree houses look like the MOST! OuO I use to LOVE collecting the Pokedolls and placing them all over my hide outs in R and D/P x3 I hope we can place more then in the original game though.

I seriously cannot wait for these two to come out. I got Ruby the first time they came out, but now, having played both of them, I'm going to be getting Alpha Sapphire this go round. Loved the story with Team Aqua and all that a bit more.

Kyogre is best Legendary between the two.

I was really hoping there would be a demo to play at E3. I was disappointed. :(

I hate Pokemon Demo's, you are stuck in a small area, with limited Pokemon, all the sprites or animations are always similar to the previous. (With the exception of BW2 to X and Y) You have nothing to explore, no impressions to be made because all new features are moves, forms, and games that they don't even let you play or see half the time.

I'd personally much rather see a trailer showing off the overworld, that's all I truly care about for this sequel. To re-explore Hoenn in 3D.

I have yet to completely explore that region, however, someone got me that game for my birthday, it was a little late since they had to go around to see if the game was legit or not
they asked me about it since I researched it a lot after accidentally buying a fake online, of a different pokemon game... :f-weep:

So, I could finally could use my Pokemon Colosseum Bonus Disc to get jirachi:f-smile:

o3o I never had the ability to get Jirachi in the first game. I didn't have the xBox or what ever was needed nor the Colosseum game.

I wonder how they'll do the Jirachi event this time for Ruby/Sapphire

also to get jirachi it was a long long long process. capture all pokemon, new and old. beat all trainers in the game, beat all gym leaders and elite four. then go to space station, talk to white stone, then talk to girl next to it and then talk to stone again... it takes ages

ouo lets... hope we won't need to do that with a wii game or something x'D

well part of the only reason I haven't played the game is that to get Jirachi you just have to get through the beginning tutorial and battle your rival and talk to the professor again and then catch 4 or 5 more pokemon
Then you put the disk either into a game cube or the wii
there is also a cable that connects the gameboy advance to either one of those systems
now that would have to trade up to pearl and those versions
that game would have to be completed which would allow you to move jirachi
then trade them to soul silver or heart gold and then send them up to one of the black or white games and then through the poke transporter to the bank

you can reset the game, and as long as you are willing to go through all those steps and playing two mini games one with pearl and the other when sending pokemon to black and white- I can't remember but I think one or both of those games have a limit on how many times you can do that in a day

Does anyone else notice the creepy and demonic purple dragon looking thing above the new Hoenn map? It's definitely a new location, so I'm wondering if it's the cause of the mega stones or if it's just a creepy death dragon. o.e

I got my Jirachi from a SS/HG event o3o, I like easy events like that
