so i read a thing just a few mins ago where people wanted avatar contests but noone was actually willing to /do/ one so yeah, i am going to start my time here with a bang!


what is the dealio?
gonna have a contest that runs from today (may 28th) to two weeks from now(june 11th)

how do i enter?
make an avatar with the theme 'brown' it can be anything you want as long as it is primarily or entirely in shades of brown XD simple yes? then save a picture of your avi and post it here using the form below;

what do i win?
winner gets 40 runes and i draw their contest entry
runner up gets 10k au

how is it judged?
myself and two anon members of staff will be judging based on how close to the theme an entrant keeps the avi and how original the avi is. winners will be posted one day after the end of each contest

Does the avid need to be a new one made for this contest or can it be an old one that was made before?

to be fair it should be a new avatar, otherwise you are not putting any effort into it and are kinda being unfair to other people who are working hard to make original avatars

besides, what is the fun in just posting old stuff?

I was asking because it was not said. I just wanted to make sure... my favorite avi I've ever made on this site is mostly brown which is why I thought of it.

You could always remake that brown avatar but tweak it so that it has improvements or something different.

True pogs, but since most of my items are trapped on this account because of the trades.... its just inconvenient to not be able to use all my items/currency ya know? I'm not sure what improvements I can make to the avid anyway.... its been so long since I've been online here. I'll just make a new one.

It always has been... fen used to say it was one of the top 5 but I dunno if its true anymore. ^~^

My other accounts had some stuff on them, luckily, before the trades stopped working for me.

I have not reached that limit fortunately I am too poor to afford more then one of each item. xD. Not that I own much brown though >.>

Hmm have you tried asking Coda to manually move some of your items since they can not be traded?

It whipped this together this morning so I wasn't naked... I was started a project last night and needed some poses so I ended up getting rid of the red/black one I really liked, but thats alright

oops XD so does the site have a black underbust belt/sash/corset that is thinner or lacy? that is the only thing i can think of to make your avi look any better

I would need to spend more time on it if I wanted something with more depth. I would probably add another color to contrast it.
