2014 Holiday Bash

Hello Trisphites!

I'm sure you guys are wondering what this is all about. Well, this is my first time doing this, and I hope to bring some joys and a smile on someone face. I'm hosting this Holiday Bash to give back to the community of Trisphee.

I once used to be a regular here on this site, but due to personal things I got to do in real life, I wasn't able to come on here anymore. Since I have so MANY items laying there covered in dusts, I thought maybe I should do something fun to get the community together.

This is not a charity, so I thought it would be best to place the thread in this forum. It seems more suitable, and I hope it is ok to have this thread here. I hope everyone have a wonderful holiday, and amazing time with your friends and family.

Please follow the TOS and rules of Trisphee. Thank you :)

EDIT: Post #1

No, no I did this very wrong, lol.

Tiva 12-04-2014 12:30 AM

Wow Panda looks like you are going to have loads of fun with this. It is also nice to see you back sweetie *hugs*

trystan830 12-04-2014 12:33 AM

ok, this is post #1 for me, now that i've got it figured out.

Panda 12-04-2014 12:33 AM

@Mek, you have to number your post from 1 to 10. :) Read the 2nd post again because I changed it, so that it is easier to understand. ^^

@Tiva, yeah I haven't been here in forever! :3 I'm glad to see some familiar faces and this site still alive. Even though it is slow, it is better than not having Trisphee at all.

Panda, this looks like a really awesome thread! and thanks for being an awesome Panda! =D

Mek 12-04-2014 12:37 AM

@Panda I think I got this right now!

And a Happy Holidays to everyone! :D

Tiva 12-04-2014 12:42 AM

Hey we had a real pick up with the event that just ended! Lots of new blood for us to spoil, even if I still feel like a newbie even after 3 years on the site.

Panda 12-04-2014 12:43 AM

@Trystan, haha thanks. :) I can't really come online much anymore, so yeah just giving back, especially to those who are still actively using the site.

@Mek, you are doing it right! :3

Lucid: 12-04-2014 12:43 AM

Hi Panda! :) It's been a long time, I'm glad to see you around!

Tiva, you're certainly not new. :P You've been around quite a long time now!

1/10

trystan830 12-04-2014 12:45 AM

3/10 (this is a good idea, thanks Lucid!)

Tiva - i also think that it's cause some of us newbies came from Unifaction.

Panda - that's annoying when Real Life interferes with your Online Time. *hugs*

Panda 12-04-2014 12:45 AM

@Tiva, I can't believe I been a member since 9/9/09 o.o It doesn't feel like it at all! I feel like a newbie too, I don't even know what is going on around the site anymore. What a shame.

@Lucid, yes, it has! :) Glad to see you here as well.

@Trystan, that's part of being an adult.
You have to take care of your bills and stuff. I feel so old now.

trystan830 12-04-2014 12:47 AM

4/10

Panda - 9-9-09 is an awesome join date! =)

Panda 12-04-2014 12:48 AM

@Trystan : It sure is! :D I really like it.

Mek 12-04-2014 12:48 AM

Paying bills doesn't make me feel old. My youngest sister becoming a preteen makes me feel old. I was 22 when she was born. =\

Lucid: 12-04-2014 12:48 AM

Haha, even I feel that way sometimes. I get into bad periods of lurking sometimes, and don't always get to know new people as well as I should. In turn it makes me even more scared to post because I don't know everyone! >.< It's a bad feeling, being such an old member and not knowing hardly anyone. I've been trying to do better recently.

2/10

Panda 12-04-2014 12:48 AM

@Mek: I'm only 21 lol >.<

Tiva 12-04-2014 12:49 AM

See Lucid! Us older users can still feel like newbies some times!

I hate being an adult. I would much prefer to not be one, because bills… bills suck.

Wait I am older than Panda? *is 22*

Lucid: 12-04-2014 12:49 AM

Wow, 22 years is a pretty huge difference! My youngest brother becoming a teenager makes me feel old, and he's only 9 years younger than me!

Tiva, we are the same age! **high-fives!**

3/10

trystan830 12-04-2014 12:49 AM

5/10

Panda: yaay!

Mek: my younger daughter is 13...i don't feel old enough to have a 13 year old!

Panda 12-04-2014 12:50 AM

I agree with you, it is kinda hard to get back in the loop with everyone here. You want to post, but you don't really know anyone here anymore. It is hard and it takes time. I'm too impatience. >.<

Yup! I'm 21~ I work 6 days a week from 9-7.
I actually enjoy having money than just staying home. I'm weird.

Lucid: 12-04-2014 12:51 AM

Well, throwing a holiday party is probably the best way to get to know new people! :D I suspect this thread will be the hip-happening place to be all month long. <3

But it also scares me because I compulsively backread every post, and I hate having to backread more than a page and a half. xD

My sister is 12 in two days. I'm like, wth, where'd the time go??

Panda 12-04-2014 12:52 AM

Hehe I remember when I used to be young and immature.

Tiva 12-04-2014 12:52 AM

*high fives Lucid* Yay for being 22 and the title of a Taylor swift song!

I get that, a lot of my old friends left and I had to make new ones… but the new people are fun too!

trystan830 12-04-2014 12:54 AM

i've seen a quote: "cleverly disguised as a responsible adult." i have bills. and my older daughter will be going to college next year. eek!

also: "you're only young once; you can be immature forever"

6/10

Lucid: 12-04-2014 12:57 AM

Oh my gosh....I never really realized it before, but, I joined staff when I had just turned 18, and I'd been around the site a few years before that...I'm old, and Trisphee is old too! :o

I actually still have my activation email in my inbox from my beta forum account. February 2009! Of course my official join date after we moved to this forum is in August.

My favorite was always: Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional.

Tiva 12-04-2014 01:00 AM

I am going back to my fort and coloring is a favorite of mine.

Had dinner with my mom and her friend though. They kept bitching about how being responsible sucks, and they are both in their 50s and told me to never have kids.

Panda 12-04-2014 01:00 AM

Lucid, oh yeah same here. My beta join date was way before my join date I have now. >.< Not as early as you, but still a long time ago. I was hired as one of the items designer, but I wasn't good enough. lol

Pregnant Pickle is the one that told me about Trisphee, and I believe she was a moderator back then.

Mek 12-04-2014 01:04 AM

*glomps Panda* omg, thank you so much!! <3

I've had two co-workers tell me not to have kids, lol. I could always tell roughly the ages of the kids people at work had based on whether they told me to go for it or to run from it. Parents with kids under 11 were always, have kids! And the parents with teenagers were always, don't even think about it! xD

Tiva 12-04-2014 01:08 AM

Yeah I am my mom's only child but my step siblings bring it up to nine. As the second youngest my oldest niece is now 15. It is scary seeing her go through the transformation of cute kid to pouty teenager. I miss the kid, but she isn't all that bad to be around now. 12- 14 was bad though… real bad.

trystan830 12-04-2014 01:09 AM

i joined most of my current sites in December 08, Feb 09 and May 09. i've been around a while too.

7/10

Mek 12-04-2014 01:21 AM

Yeah, my experience is that the 12-14 age range is the worst. I'm the oldest of all of my siblings, and I have two more sisters who are 8 and 9 years younger than me.

trystan830 12-04-2014 01:24 AM

my 13-year-old daughter isn't all that bad. unless she's working on a project that just doesn't like her. she says she "can't technology" and computers hate her.

8/10

Tiva 12-04-2014 01:42 AM

I wasn't that bad according to my mom until i hit 12 and my dad left i started really acting out. By 14 though i mellowed out. Apparently the worst timing was 17 to 19 though, I was in college and I really wanted to be independent and we were arguing over my college fund and if i should have control of it…. i lost that argument btw.
