So fantasy, modern, futuristic, apocalyptic or post apocalyptic? |
So many choices. @.@ How about a combination of fantasy and post apocalyptic? I find it would be interesting if abnormal things to us developed after our modern society was destroyed. Or we could do super natural instead of fantasy if you thing that would work better (aka something like mutants).

I was thinking a third world war where atomic bombs were used and ended up devastating the entire planet. Do you want a plot for that? I can think of one up quickly. :3

So something kind of disease then that's incurable that ends up mutating people then. Hm...do you want to use a real one or make one up?

Those look interesting, though instead of it being fifteen years how about twenty? This way we can have a high age range for characters born after the event and thus producing the 'mutations' in the viruses that don't kill them or cause their eventual death, but rather giving them their supernatural powers.
Also to add to the plot, how about trying to gather the people together again to help one another to find cures for those that can be killed by these viruses? And of course running away from those that would see those with mutations as merely test subjects and not as human beings. |
I need to change it to be a few hundred years because how long it would take for the virus's to alter and the nuclear fallout to disburse.
But I agree it will make it easier for mutations and supernatural abilities. As for looking for viruses, there may be a chance that people 'sane' enough are already doing it. There even may be hunters who are hunting down those who are mutated. |
Yes, that sounds better than. XD And yeah, the hunters are kind of what I meant by that, but I was thinking they'd want to take sample before killing them so that the samples can be studied to 'eradicate' them. And of course technology probably has kind of fallen into ruin and is gradually being built back up. Like electricity, running water and computers are back up but they have to be made from scrap computer parts and such (which the crazy robots and such comes in). Since it would be hard to find the materials needed to make them after all. Just the internet would not be back up for various reasons. XD

True, it wouldn't mater if they were dead or alive. x'D And the regulation thing sounds interesting, but should we have the government be the good guys or the bad guys? (aka controlling the hunters or those who want to help?)

However in general she's a very gentle person, not wanting to hurt anyone and just wishes everyone could get along. She does have a hard time trusting people though because of her past. Background: She had a mother, father and an older brother, but when they noticed her having supernatural powers they became fearful of her. Their fear became so great that they told some hunters about her and she's been hiding from them ever since. Now she's afraid of getting close to people for fear of being betrayed again.
