Any official word on item/site status?
 

Just rather bummed that we haven't seen anything in...what, 2, 3 months? I've got a ton of Runes with nothing new to spend them on and I'm worried that they'll just end up sitting there. Are we dead in the water? Did an artist have a dry spell? Can we get an official update on...well, anything?

Gallagher and I posting in that other thread is basically what amounts to official communication. We've not made a formal announcement, yes, but the short answer is:

Our pixelists disappeared again. As much as we want them, we have no items. We'll have items again when we get a pixelist again.

We're juggling a few ideas for the interim but we don't currently have anything concrete.

Recolor a bunch of old items and keep pumping those out.
As of now with Galla and you that's the only thing I can see done between the two of you.

Heck maybe even take old items and just move them around to make some cheap new ones.

Thought I'd have time to learn to pixel over the summer, but nooo.

Do you all use a tablet to do your pixels or draw it with the mouse?

Most of it's done with a tablet, though some time ago, one of the artists (forgot who) did a few items by mouse, which was pretty spectacular.

I'd say so. I use to pixel a few years ago and used the mouse. Nothing too great but then like a year ago I used my sisters tablet and wow, big difference. I can't pixel with a mouse anymore though XD (again, it was never anything too great haha)

When I pixel, it's with a mouse. But then again, I pixel totally differently than Trisphee's style.

Everything I posted was done via Mouse =) I'm too poor for a tablet. xD

Though I might try using the Photoshop app on my kindle and see if I can't try doing stuff on that. I don't want to be an official pixalist/artist though. I tend to poof too much anyway.

I have a cheap tablet I pixeled with. $100 for Wacomb Bamboo. If you plan on doing a lot more than just pixeling it's worth it.

Not bad. My only critique is that the right side (character's left) is lower than the other side but the shoulders go the other way, makes her look like she's bending at the waist to one side. (Probably not too hard to fix?)

I care, as does Gallagher, and we've been trying to keep things running smoothly in the absence of new items. Toho, the one paying for the server, has been under a great deal of stress the last couple of months (he hasn't told me the specific details but it's taking a toll on him) and the problem ultimately is that we don't have any pixelists.

That said, I am working behind the scenes on trying to get a user event prepared and a new game done for Trisphee -- unfortunately, I don't have a pixelist to put the finishing touches on the latter!

I mean it is a bit disappointing on the items, but....I can't afford runes, so....now or later, it's about the same really .-.

It's the slow forums that hurt me more....but I can't help with it....my friends will join and leave quickly, whether the site is active or not T-T

I'm here for the forums as well really. I can't afford runes anyway and I have all the items i really need... o3o, unless i see something I really want come out i ignore the shop. xD

Alright. I'm forum ignorant. If I want to make a threat handing out runes in exchange for random things or just no reason, what would be the best place to put it?

I feel at this point we should just re-release all the old items into one mega shop, selling them at a higher price point so there is revenue coming into the site. But only if a vast majority votes for it during a set period of time..

So out of like the 8 of us who agrees? xD

i wouldn't mind that.. unlike people who buy items to sell, i hoard mine and keep them to myself so i don't care if their value goes down xD

It was one of the first Anka egg items I believe... Been a while. I'm surprised I only have one...

I suppose we're not particularly worried about ruining the old-item economy anymore...

Actually, I know I have a list around here somewhere that I compiled of every item that's not in the inventory of anyone active on the site in the last X months -- those would be the items that you could never get your hands on.
