A very special day
 

To make a long story short - two years ago tonight I had a very strange physical episode in which my chest muscles contracted and started to squeeze my arteries leading to my heart.This cause a heart attack type occurrence to take place. I was rushed to the ER where I was admitted to the Cardiac ICU not too long after. They did all sorts of scans and tests - my arteries were clear. I was perfectly healthy, save the damage that was done to my heart and body because of the spasm. I almost didn't make it and was down to 25% heart function.

But, two years later I am alive and well! I'll be celebrating my 30th birthday in March and though I'm not physically the same as I was before that day, I'm happy and healthy. <3

I have a heart condition as well, but I haven't had any issues with it yet. I have had some muscle spasms and the occasional heart chest wall pain but that's it.

Did they ever figure out why that happened to you?

Unfortunately, the best they can tell me is that they think it's Printzmetal Angina...which is basically "We have no idea". XD

It's all good, minus the horrid fatigue I'm saddled with now. ^___^ I'm still really lucky.

And I get some chest pain as well sometimes, it's no fun.

I now suffer from fairly chronic fatigue, feeling nauseous off and on, blood pressure fluctuations, and occasion heart palpitations - but I'm ALIVE and that is what matter. :3
