Dinner Time!

I'm 'making' dinner tonight - baked mac and cheese with BBQ Beef sandwiches.

It's in quotes cause I'm basically just heating this stuff up and giving it the manbeast to put in his face hole.

Kitty don't cook real well. X3

What are YOU having for dinner, CS?

Gallagher 12-13-2015 08:44 PM

Microwavable shrimp scampi with linguine. Everyone else heated up some orange chicken. No one felt like cooking cooking tonight, lol.

Ireland 12-13-2015 08:47 PM

Hnnngggg Shrimp!

I love shrimp!! :D Even if it was microwaved >3

Sadly, this *IS* me cooking. >__>;; Well, I guess that's not entirely true...I do cook really simple things.

Tas 12-13-2015 08:48 PM

I

don't know yet. . .

Gallagher 12-13-2015 08:49 PM

There's 4 adults in my household, so we just take turns. We had fried fish, then pork chops + mac n cheese, and then tonight was a lazy night.

Lol AC

Coda 12-13-2015 08:58 PM

My father-in-law is visiting.

I WAS going to make spaghetti.

Thanks to his complaints, it is now spaghetti with meat sauce (I don't usually make meat sauce because it's annoyingly tedious), a big salad, and garlic bread. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have leftovers. :/

Pffttt in-laws though. >(

Why is a GUEST complaining about what YOU are making them? Why doesn't he just leave and go feed himself then...butthead.

Tohopekaliga 12-13-2015 09:08 PM

I had...hamburger helper for dinner. Fancy!

Tas 12-13-2015 09:08 PM

wait, I'm an idiot! I just remembered!

mom's making bean and cheese burritos for dinner! :O

edit: well, apparently plans changed, and INSTEAD dad's gonna go to taco bell.

Salone 12-13-2015 09:15 PM

Father in-laws, gross. Significant Others' parents generally don't last long around me. The relationship I mean, not lives.

As for food...probably a lot of tacos. Like 7 or 8 tacos from Taco Bell. Or if I'm too lazy for that, an entire Medium cheese pizza (with extra sauce, sauce is the best) from Domino's...and maybe one of their brownies.

I really should just learn to cook.

You should have heard his reaction when I said that we have ground turkey instead of ground beef. x.x

I put up with him because he's generally a good guy (and I love his daughter), but you really don't want to cross his opinions.

Tohopekaliga 12-13-2015 09:27 PM

Was it along the lines of "THIS IS MURIKA."?

Coda 12-13-2015 09:31 PM

No, but it comes from the same kind of Deep South mindset. His mother was the same way -- I once made a really yummy breakfast casserole and she said "I don't want no cornbread for breakfast."

Tas 12-13-2015 09:37 PM

what? But cornbread is totally a southern thing.

Gallagher 12-13-2015 09:39 PM

Who in the everlovin god don't want no cornbread at any time of day? It's CORNBREAD. It goes with any casserole or chili or stew.

Actually, a good batch of grits n eggs n sausage gravy sounds really good right now.

I should too. D: I would probably be less chubby if I did. X3

Coda - I would tell her to leave then.

This is what I made for breakfast and if she didn't like...make yourself something.

Guests are so rude!

browning beef is easy, you just...cook it in a hot pan until it's brown and then drain the grease out. I can't cook but I know how to brown beef. :P

VIVA EL TACO BELL!
hey, I have no shame. :D

littl3chocobo 12-13-2015 10:06 PM

was going to be pasta with a meat sauce but while i was slicing the beef yesterday i decided to make fried beef with macaroni so we had no meat for the meat sauce and ended up with pizza, it is store pizza though XD tomorrow will be real food, i need to cook the last of the persimmons so persimmon beef with rice and chili<3 my mother-in-law calls it spicy though XD i may cut it with extra cream for her

Salone 12-13-2015 10:18 PM

Pffft. People want a meal and don't want to cook it, they can shut up and eat what I serve (It's usually pasta). And southerners, yuck. I am one, but I'm not one. Good luck ever having an actual exchange of ideas and differing opinions there.

littl3chocobo 12-13-2015 10:20 PM

tch, any american is like that x______x my motherinlaw is alasken, that is as far from the south as you can get and she's STILL rather pig-headed(of course i am too hahaha)

Ireland 12-13-2015 10:29 PM

Anna - Yasss

Choco - you are very fancy!! O___O

Salone - Don't worry, there are close minded people everywhere! X3

littl3chocobo 12-13-2015 10:35 PM

Ireland 12-13-2015 10:42 PM

LOL

I was referencing your persimmon beef! X3 You are a very fancy bottle of Asian soda too, though.

littl3chocobo 12-13-2015 10:44 PM

ooooh, nah XD it's just sweet fried meat hahaha, nothing cancy at all hahaha

Monorea 12-15-2015 06:26 AM

Chicken Pizza today.
Nothing special but it does take a bit time since you have to prepare the dough and cook up the sauce and meat

littl3chocobo 12-15-2015 08:39 PM

take-out pizza tonight XD no idea what tommorrow will be though i just know i have to make 3 batches of cookies XD post, us and the neighbors

Lucid: 12-15-2015 09:15 PM

Tonight I made myself some fried rice with egg and pineapple. I made way too much and now I have leftovers. T_T I don't like leftovers very much, I'd rather spend the time to cook it from the start a second time. But at least it's something to feed myself with another day.

Ireland 12-16-2015 02:19 AM

That is true. And I know that I have been in situations where I've made it through til pay day on left overs. X3

Fulkth 12-16-2015 02:23 AM

I prefer food cooked fresh as well, but I sure don't like cooking it a second time so I will just stick with leftovers. XD

Tas 12-16-2015 03:35 PM

there are very few things I'll eat leftover. One of them is pizza! :D

Fulkth 12-16-2015 05:34 PM

So are you saying you will or won't eat leftover pizza? O.e

Because that is what I am having for dinner today! :D

Monorea 12-16-2015 05:36 PM

I had potato and spring onion soup, i love well done soups.
Had just the right kind of potatoes in it too.

Fulkth 12-16-2015 05:46 PM

The only potato soup that I know how to make comes out of a bag. Just add water. 8D

I've never made potato soup from scratch before.

Monorea 12-16-2015 05:48 PM

From scratch is many times tastier.
Probably healthier too.

I will.

pizza is always good.

Monorea 12-16-2015 06:00 PM

Well except if it has the wrong toppings

Tas 12-16-2015 06:03 PM

well

true.

like pineapple! x_x

Tohopekaliga 12-16-2015 06:13 PM

But...pineapple on pizza is delicious! :O

It's also quite good on cheeseburgers.

Fulkth 12-16-2015 06:26 PM

lol, then my leftover pizza is not for you because it's hawaiian!

But some of it is supreme.
