Vampiric Kiss

A young man with silver eyes and golden hair looks out the window of his carriage, staring at the blood stained autumn moon. Licking his lips thirstily he taps his cane on the carriage, commanding it to stop. Stepping out, he holds up his hand, commanding the shadowy driver to wait for him there. The horses pulling the carriage stand still, no light from the moon reflecting of their coat, as if they are merely shadows in the darkness. The man, Isaac, heads towards a home not far off into the distance, not a single light flickering in the darkness of the night heavy with the smell of young, fresh blood.

Many believe that vampires cannot enter a home without permission, but what many don't know is that all one needs is to have the door opened. Smirking, he raises a hand, moving his fingers in an almost beckoning motion. Soon a glossy-eyed woman opens the door and he walks in, gently wrapping his arms around the woman and opens his mouth wide. Fangs glimmer for a moment in the moonlight before he sinks them into her neck, blood trickling down her chest. Hearing a sound he looks up to see the woman's husband, looking for the wife that's now deathly pale in Isaac's arms. Before the man can get a second word out from what he was yelling at Isaac, he's already on the man. Pinning him against the wall, a hand over the man's mouth, he bites into the man as well, draining him like the woman from before. When he's finished Issac lets the man drop as dead weight to the floor of the home.

Faye couldn't sleep, she always had trouble sleeping at night so when she heard movement, she wondered if that was one of her parents. Grabbing her teddy bear that she carried everywhere, it was rather a mess, the eyes was missing, it was stained with an array of different colors from where, no one would know. There was even stuffing coming out of it as it began to rip but never once did she ask to get a new teddy. Soon after she heard one set of footsteps, she heard another. As she got to the living room, she watched as the man drain the life out of her father. he didn't know what to make of them who who had blood on his face and who had so obviously murdered her parents. She clutched the teddy bear tighter as she slowly walked up to him. Most would feel fear, but not the little girl. She didn't know what she felt but it wasn't fear.

Looking at her dead parents, she felt like she was in a daze. She couldn't understand exactly what was going on, everything was feeling like some sort of dream, nothing felt real to her. Reaching up to the man, she showed him her teddy. "Here. You need him more."Faye told the stranger fully expecting him to take her teddy. She loved it, was practically inseparable with it. The stranger seemed rather lonely and she didn't think anyone should be alone.

ml1201 01-20-2016 09:30 AM

Isaac had already noticed the little girl there, he could smell her from where she had watched him. He's a bit surprised that she'd come up to him, but his eyes go wide in shock. If it wasn't for the girls black hair she could have looked just like his long dead little sister. Pain shoots through his head as he remembers how he became a vampire, anger flashing in his eyes as he realizes what he's doing now is very similar to that. Getting down on his knee he looks at the little girl with sad eyes.

"I'm sorry about your parents little one, and I don't deserve your teddy. But if you're okay with it you can live with me. I know I can never replace your parents, but I will do my best to take good care of you." He holds his hand out to her, half expect her to say no to him.

Rozen 01-20-2016 10:10 AM

Staring at the stranger' hand and then looking up at him, he titled her head to the side as she retracted her teddy bear and then went to grab his hand. "I will go with you, I don't mind." She stated and gave him a soft smile. "You need a friend! We can be friends." The little girl stared at her parents and yet, she kept them all inside. She yawned and rubbed her eyes and yawned. She could barely manage to keep them open as she stood there with her arm extended into his hand.

ml1201 01-20-2016 05:05 PM

Noticing the girl barely being able to stay awake, he gently picks her up and carries her in his arms, leaving the house and her parents. Taking a quick glance back his eyes glow red briefly then fade, the house being consumed in a blue-grey fire.

"Faye, its almost time for your lessons. You should probably finish up and head over there. One must master dancing if they plan on going to balls after all." It's the after noon, Isaac laying on a bench under a covered patio, rose tinted glasses upon his nose as he reads a book. The bench is as far away from the sun as possible, almost as if it had been placed there purposely to avoid the sun. Many years have passed since Faye started living with him, they have had to move from house to house occasionally so that people don't suspect him. After all he didn't need word getting out that he's a vampire, it would cause more trouble than its worth.

Rozen 01-20-2016 07:20 PM

Faye rolled her eyes as she looked at her guardian. Isaac always seemed to want her to be the best at everything, to be as lady like as possible. Sometimes she just wanted to play outside and get dirty while Isaac always stayed inside unless it was dark. She didn't understand why that was but she never questioned him. She trusted him fully and why wouldn't she? He ever gave her any reason to doubt him, though the only thing Faye had a problem with was all this moving.

As she grew up, the night they met had quickly vanished from her memory. Instead, she honestly didn't remember anything about that night or that it had even happened. All she remembered was going to bed and then waking up in his house. Ever since she had come to live with him, she was never able to make many friends, she was always kept out of the group. She remembered a lot of the time the children would always bully her for being weird and having no one but a creepy guardian.

Walking over to Isaac, she smiled as she pulled the book away, and gave him a hug. "Come on, just one day, let me have this one day without any lessons. I know you want me to be proper, and I promise to buckle down more if you let me have this one day off." She begged him.

ml1201 01-21-2016 12:09 AM

Seeing the book no longer in front of him, he gives her a bit of an annoyed glare. The glasses help hide the redness of his eyes caused by the light stinging them, but he can only stand it for so long. During Faye's lessons he could hide in his 'lab' which was really his hidden sleeping chamber. Of course Faye wasn't allowed there because the lab could get 'dangerous' with all the chemicals and such he claimed to work with.

"Now Faye, you know I can't play all day, I have to get working in the lab at some point to at least try getting some research done. I can't be doing that if there's someone I have to worry about down there. Besides, if I let you off now you'll keep asking to have off and your lessons will never be completed. It's bad enough the townsfolk are spooked by me, your tutors show that I'm at least a person and not some kind of wraith or something. Now run along, I need to get back to work. I'll check on you around dinner time, have some tea with you, and then get back to work." Standing up he takes the book back from her, not bothering to mark the page since he's read the book hundreds of times already as is. He holds out his arm so as to escort her to her lessons.

Rozen 01-21-2016 01:12 AM

Faye crossed her arm over her chest as she became very unhappy about what Isaac had just told her. Well, he might have said no but she was going to do it anyway. "No, I really don't want you to take me anywhere. I want to go by myself." She stated as she walked of in the directions of her lessons. But she didn't go there. She didn't stop. She just continued on walking and out of the house knowning that he wouldn't be able to come out since he was allergic to the sun or something like that. A part of her felt rather happy about that so that he wouldn't be able to come out and drag her back into the house.

Giggling to herself, she walked down the street just thinking about all sorts of things. Isaac was going to be upset with her and most likely punish her once she got back but she didn't care.

She was out most of the day just walking about. It was until the sun began to go down that she saw a pub fill with all sorts of people. Curiosity got the better of her and she entered. Isaac wouldn't have approved but oh well, she didn't care. It was here that her life changed forever. There was a group of men, not too much older than her who had their eyes set on her. And as the day turned to night, she decided that she couldn't avoid going home any longer since no doubt Isaac would come and scold her. She wondered what punishment awaited her and as she walked down a road by herself, a rather large wolf appeared before her. She felt fear, she did't trust this creature, something was odd and she knew that she couldn't out run it. Hopefully it wouldn't try to attack. It did't take long for the large creature to run towards her and before she could react, it had bit her hard on her neck, blood gushed out everywhere. Faye screamed and tried to defend herself but it was useless, this monstrous creature was too much for her to defend herself against. She soon succumb to her injuries and fell unconscious, left to die. The large wolf left her there feeling rather snug about what it had done.

ml1201 01-21-2016 09:38 AM

Isaac watched in agitation as Faye left the house, and reluctantly informed the tutor that Faye has decided that she didn't want to do her lessons. He tries to rest in his hidden chamber but worry for Faye prevents him from doing so, so instead he waits for the sun to begin setting. Throwing on a cloak to cover himself from the sun and donning his red tinted glasses, he goes out to begin searching for Faye. The fading light of the sun still stings, but not enough where he can't stand it.

After walking around and asking nervous townsfolk about her whereabouts its evening before he begins heading towards the tavern. Then he catches the smell of blood, blood of a particular person. Running, he basically becomes a blur to human eyes, soon finding Faye bleeding out on the ground. Now that he's found her he can smell the lingering scent of a wolf lycan, his eyes glowing red in anger. Kneeling down next to Faye, he grabs hold of her hand, tears welling up in the corners of his eyes.

"Faye, I tried to protect you and keep my distance from you, but of course I should have realized that one day, when you venture out something like this would happen. I should have hired someone to watch over you, or sent a familiar to do so. This is all my fault, and now the only way to save you is to make it so you can never enjoy the sunlight ever again. Please forgive, I just don't want to loose you like I've lost everything else." Leaning over to where she's been bitten he drinks some of her blood, then bites his own lip with his fangs and kisses her to force her to drink his blood. Since a vampire's blood tastes different from human blood, the taste doesn't repulse humans, just the sight of it.

Rozen 01-21-2016 07:17 PM

Faye tasted something rather sweet in her mouth as someone held her. She didn't know who it was or what that person was saying. She felt her boy heat up and her heart beat was pounding rapidly. She could feel her body changing but into what she didn't know. "I-it hurts..." her eyes felt pricks as the onset of tears came. Her breathing was slow yet steady as she scrunched up her hand. "A-am I going to die? I-I feel like I'm going to die." She said in a barely audible whisper. "Isaac, I-I'm sorry! I-If I live through this, I-I won't disobey you again." She barely managed to get out before her body went limp and the only sign of life was the slow raise and fall of her chest indicating that she was breathing.

As she laid unconscious in Isaac's arms, her mind flew wide open as her earlier memories came out. She remembered seeing Isaac standing by her mother's limp body and his fangs plunged into her father' neck. She wasn't afraid of the monster. She felt anything but fear. She had lost her parents and now the same monster went to attack her, plunging his fangs into her neck. But when she went to see the monster, it was some wolf, a rather large wolf, biting into her.

A wolf growled at Isaac. "What do you think you're doing to her?! She's mine! I already marked her. You are probably going to kill her trying to turn her into a vampire as well." He snapped. There was no one around so the wolf felt it safe to be able to come out of hiding. He was livid at the sight of the one he marked as his in the hands of another.

ml1201 01-21-2016 09:41 PM

Isaac glares with his furious glowing red eyes, "Did you even bother to think about whether she wanted this or not?! And then you just leave her laying there?! What right do you have to turn her in such a way?! You're no better than the vile monster that turned me, and I'll tell you now, that ancient one no longer exists. And if I have to give up my existence for Faye to make it through this than so be it!" Shadowy forms rise up behind Isaac, some of them human, some of them animals, but the most frightening one of them all is what looks like a woman not entirely made of shadows, just her hair and clothing. She stands behind Isaac, a slight smirk on her face.

"Oh, what a bad boy, letting his temper get the better of him. Careful now or I might be able to consume you like you consumed me." She laughs maniacally, every word sounding like pure evil.

Rozen 01-21-2016 10:06 PM

"I want her, that's all the justification that I need to turn her! Im the creature that bit her, she wouldn't take kindly to that so of course I had to leave! But she wasn't going to die but now that you given her your blood, you probably just sighed her death certificate!" The wolf snapped at the vampire. He wasn't going to back down from the werewolf. Seeing the others, he was rather happy that someone wanted that vampire to die. Though truthfully, the woman sent chills down his spine.

Faye was just starting to wake, all the noise was getting to her as she finally opened her eyes and was alarmed when she spotted the wolf. The same wolf who attacked her. "NO! Leave me alone!" She buried her face in the chest of the one who held her and realizing that she was being held, she looked up and saw Isaac. His eyes were red. She was so confused. "W-what's wrong with your eyes Isaac? Who's that woman?" She asked. "I feel rather thirsty and hungry, and I just need something." Her thoughts were all scattered as she was having a hard time collecting them and she was still a bit delirious of everything. She was in a state between being asleep and being awake. "I wanna go home. I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have left." She yawned.

ml1201 01-21-2016 10:53 PM

"Faye, calm down, everything will be all right." Using his fangs he rips open his wrist, holding it to her mouth. "Now drink, and don't stop no mater what, okay sweetie? You can go home and rest once everything is over."

"You foolish boy! You are going to just let her drink you dry? You got your revenge on me by consuming me and stealing my powers, now you are just going to pass it on to some stupid kid? Stop kidding yourself, that won't work anyways." At that comment, Isaac smirks, when begins chanting something in a foreign language, one he's never really used around others.

"Wait! You can't do that! I'll disappear too if you do that!" The shadows behind him, even the woman, are slowly being pulled into Faye, even Isaac's shadow is being pulled in.

"I'd rather end my existence if it means Faye lives. I've lost those I loved once before, I won't let it happen again." Ink black vampire wings sprout on his back, then begin being absorbed by Faye as well as she continues to drink his blood.

Rozen 01-21-2016 11:26 PM

Faye didn't understand what was happening but she stopped and coughed up some of the blood. She heard Isaac talk about ending his existence, it was really the only thing that her ears heard. "I-I don't want it right now ok? Later." She told him as she yawned, knowing that she might kill him by doing whatever she was doing. Faye wasn't exactly sure what was happening or what was going on but she didn't want him to die because of her. Blood was all over her teeth as she went back to sleep.

The wolf didn't want to stall anymore, something needed to be done so he snarled and turned back into a human. "Give her to me! She's mine! I will not let you harm her." While the vampire was distracted, he ran up to him, punching him as hard as he could while grabbing onto the lady. "I will protect you, this mosquito knows nothing!" He snarled, his eyes were glowing yellow.

ml1201 01-22-2016 01:41 AM

Tumbling backwards, Isaac looses his hold on Faye, gasping in surprise from the werewolf's attack.

"Your's?! You don't know anything about her! You weren't the one who raised her, you weren't the one who took care of her injuries. You weren't the one who laid next to her in bed when as a child she screamed in terror from her nightmares! You, who has never been in her life has no right to claim her for yourself!" Standing the shadow creatures around him take form again, the one lady stepping towards Isaac.

"I could easily drink that pup dry, he's not that old. Or better yet, you could drink him dry and become even more powerful to protect you're precious little pet." The woman snickers as Isaac glares daggers at her.

"I'm not like you b****! Faye is like a daughter to me, not some toy like you thought of me!" Rushing towards the werewolf, the shadow familiars swarm around him, trying to block off his path. Isaac follows them, trying to corner the werewolf.

"Stop this nonsense now! If you really care about her so much then let her choose for herself!" Just as Isaac confronts the werewolf with that statement, the woman appears behind him.

"Mosquito? That pup would dare say such a thing that also insults me? Oh, I so badly want to rip his heart out and drink him dry, just like I did to your dear, sweet little sister when I made you watch." Isaac flinches visibly at the reminder of his family.

Rozen 01-22-2016 06:57 PM

The werewolf growled and snarled at the vampire. "I want her!" He snapped. That's really all he could say since he didn't really have a response to what the stupid vampire had said knowing that he was right. He didn't know her but he wanted her. His friends from the tavern gathered around him as they heard the commotion when they were leaving.

"Oh looky! There's a tick in our territory!" One laughed and the other joined. "Here, give me the girl and we will take her back while you deal with it." After handing off Faye to his friends, he was getting ready to fight him when a rather tall man stepped in between him and Isaac. "You need to control your emotions boy." He stated in a commanding voice. Looking at the vampire, he sighed. "Take the girl and leave. I don't want trouble on my territory. I will offer the girl my help if she needs it, you won't have to worry, my son won't be anywhere around her." He glared back at him. It was obvious that this man was the alpha of the pack that lived around in this part of town. Despite werewolves usually living in their own village in the woods, because of the human cutting trees and building more homes and what not, it encroached into their territory.

"Go home NOW." He demanded and all of them hung their heads in shame. Despite being in their early twenties, the man was treating them like they were children which gave a hint that he must have been a lot older than what he looked like, looking like he was barely in his forties. His physique was well built, he had muscles that could be seen even through the proper clothing. The outfit looked rather strange on him even though noble men wore the kind of suit. He was just trying to look the part, to seem as natural as possible.

ml1201 01-23-2016 01:38 AM

"One insult after another, these pups don't know anything, do they?" The woman snarls angrily as Isaac begins to pool shadows around him, but is startled by the older werewolf stepping between them. The shock is enough for his eyes to return to its normal silver color. When Faye is returned to him, he holds her tightly to him, much like being reunited with a loved one.

"You are not leaving my sight ever again, at least not until I can explain everything." He closes his eyes as he hugs her close to him, then looks up to the older werewolf. "I'm sorry for trespassing into your domain, but this girl is very dear to me, my only concern was to get her back and take her to the safety of my home. You have my gratitude, if you have a need of me then you may come to my home and ask me. I will do what is in my power to help you. If you hadn't of made them return Faye I wouldn't be able to guarantee that they would have lived. And not because I would have wanted to kill them, but I might have been consumed trying to stop them..." Bowing to the alpha as best he can he turns to leave.

Rozen 01-23-2016 01:40 PM

"Do not take them lightly. Just because you are..what you are...and they are a lot younger, they are very skillful." The large man bowed back out of respect. "Though I do advise you to keep her locked up until she has control of herself. And on full moons, make sure to put her in a place where she won't be able to escape from." He warned before finally taking his leave. He kept an eye on the young ones and made sure that they were going back home, the last thing they needed was another incident like this one.

It wasn't until morning when Faye finally woke up with a busting headache and feeling so groggy. She didn't remember anything from last night except for a few bits and pieces but that just felt like some dream to her. One thing that she remembered was a dream where she actually saw Isaac kill her parents right in front of her. That had to have been just a dream though, Isaac was anything but a murderer. What could he possibly gain from killing her parents? Sighing, she stood up and as she walked pasted a mirror, she saw her reflection and noticed a complete change, physical change. She had black wolf like ears along with a matching tail. She had four fangs, two on bottom and two on top, which were longer. She screamed out in horror before going back her her bed and curling up in her blanket.

ml1201 01-23-2016 02:09 PM

He turns to the werewolf alpha and gives him a sad smile, "I wasn't undermining their skills, the thought of her returning..." Isaac shivers visibly at the thought, unable to hide his fear of the woman that had appeared. Dashing off he makes his way back to the house, taking Faye back to her room and closing all the curtains, then seats himself in a chair near her bed.

At some point he must have drifted off to sleep for he is awakened by Faye's scream. He nearly stumbles over himself trying to get up while still groggy, then looks at Faye, seeing the reason the scream.

"Well, this is interesting, seems like you've inherited traits of both. Though I should probably explained what happened last night. While you were at the tavern last night, there was a boy who became interested in you and decided he wanted you for himself. This is no ordinary boy though for he's a werewolf, a lycanthrope that can take on a wolf form, and apparently some wolf traits in human form. He bite you after you left the tavern and when I went out looking for you I found you bleeding in the road. Not thinking because of my panic over you, I tried to...convert you into what I am." He looks away from her hesitantly, expecting her to ask what exactly it was that he is. Which would then have to lead to how he killed her parents, something he was dreading to tell her about.

Rozen 01-23-2016 02:28 PM

Faye looked at Isaac with fear in her eyes. "What? W-werewolves? T-they're real?" She lifted her hand up to touch her ear and could actually feel that it was stuck on her head as she tried to pull it off thinking that it must be fake. But when she pulled it, it caused pain for her and that's when she knew without a doubt that she was different now. "What you are?" She didn't understand what he meant by that. "What's this pain? Isaac, I'm really thirsty. I need some water or something..." She said to him as she went to lay back down on her bed. Her eyes turned red. "W-what's happening me?!" She cried as she held herself. She didn't know what to think. And Isaac was acting like this was just another day!

Getting angry, she glared at Isaac. "It's all your fault that I'm like this then! I just wanted one day off! Just one day! You force me to do so much and now I'm a freak!" She had so many emotions swirling around in her and this thirst was getting to her. She wasn't truly angry but it was how all these different emotions had came out. The back of her eyes felt pricks as tears built up until they over flooded her eyes and when rolling down her cheeks.

ml1201 01-23-2016 03:22 PM

"Please Faye, calm down, I'm trying to explain everything. As to what I am...I'm a vampire that's almost five hundred years old, not a fledgling but still young. So, yes, vampires and werewolves are both real, along with other beings such as ourselves, though not everyone gets along. As for the pain, that's probably caused from me trying to turn you when I thought you were dying, not realizing that a werewolf had claimed you." Sighing, he goes over to her and sits on the bed next to her.

"Here, water won't slacken the thirst for you anymore." Using his fangs he tears open his wrist, holding it to her to drink. "I'm sorry Faye, I never meant for all this to happen, I just wanted to protect you. Do you know how hard it is for a vampire my age to resist the urge to drink a maidens blood such as your's? Many have known to go crazy trying to do so, but as you can see I'm far from crazy." After he thinks she's had enough blood he licks his wound which begins to heal before her eyes.

"You have every right to be angry with me, if it wasn't for me you would probably be living peacefully with your family right now." His hands shake, as he tries to calm his breathing, then looks Faye directly in her eyes. "I have a feeling you don't remember the night we met, but I have to tell you what happened, and if you hate me then you have every right to. If you wish to leave I won't stop you as long as you let me explain some things about vampires, alright?"

Rozen 01-23-2016 03:53 PM

Faye stared at him with tears in her eyes as she tried to calm down but she really couldn't pay much attention to what he was saying. She heard him say vampire and werewolves but that was really it. She may have been quiet but her mind was going a mile a minute about what she was. She just caught the tail end of what he was saying. "C-claim me?!" The words repulsed her. She felt that no one had the right to claim her, not even Isaac. he didn't want any man to think that they can own her so easily.

Faye shook her head, she didn't want his wrist, she didn't want his blood but she was unable to resist as her thirst forced her to drink from him even though she hated it. She pulled back with tears streaming down her face some more.

"My parents..." She thought about her parents but instead of looking happy, she looked rather upset about something. "You killed them. I had a dream about it last night. If you think that I would be living peacefully with them, think again. I got my little brother killed when we were playing out in the forest. We were running... I thought he was right by my side but when I went to check...he...he was being attacked by the wolf chasing us. I left him there! I left him all alone with that wolf! I was so scared I didn't know what to do! When I told my parents, my mother especially never treated me the same again. That's why I wasn't upset when I saw them dead. I did't know if you were going to kill me but at least I didn't have to worry about the constant pain. They broke my arm, my legs. They hurt me so much because I let my little brother died."

ml1201 01-24-2016 01:06 AM

Smiling and with tears of relief on his face, Isaac, hugs Faye tightly to him. Pulling back he wipes his eyes, "I never knew any of that, and here I had thought I did something horrible to you, but it was actually what saved you from that torment."

Letting her go he stands up, "Well, we can't really be idling about. You need to know a few things first about being a vampire. Garlic doesn't ward us off like people think, the smell from garlic and onions is just too much for us, though being part werewolf it might be different for you. Secondly, as vampire we do need to drink blood, preferably from humans but can come from other beings, just not as nourishing. Third, for us Vampires we cannot go out into the sunlight, and older vampire such as myself can tolerate being up during the day for the later part of it, same with ancients, but fledglings have to be careful or else they will burn to a crisp. No, we do not turn to ash, we just look like humans that have been cooked, our skin is very sensitive unfortunately. The only thing left to say is that as you get older, you will grow in power as a vampire and can learn to do different things, like make creatures or people your familiar, this is not exclusive to humans and animals mind, if you can over power them, you can also make vampires your familiars but I wouldn't suggest it. However, having explained all that, we're going to have to go back to the werewolves' territory and have the alpha teach you things about werewolves. I'll get the familiars to bring around the carriage, it will give us protection from what's left of the sun, and avoid people noticing your...ears..."

Isaac is hoping that this time his experience with the werewolves will be better, either way his experience with his own kind is worse than with the werewolves. No one died that he cared about after all, nor was he tortured mentally and physically either. Then he remembers something and gives Faye a bit of a wicked smile, "Seems like I'll have to continue your lessons. Luckily the only thing left for you to learn is how to dance and the best kind of tea to go with a selection of horderves."

Rozen 01-24-2016 01:34 AM

"Well, I do love them, I will always love them no matter what. I know it sounds hard to believe but...they were still my parents. But I remember that you seemed rather sad. I should have noticed that something was wrong with you because you've stayed the same for all these years, never getting any gray hair or wrinkle. My mother complained about them and blamed me for it because of what I had done. My mother was worse than my father. He went to work, she stayed hoe all day. I often wonder if it was me who had died and been left in the forest if my parents would have treated my little brother the same way they treated me. A part of me doesn't think so." She admitted.

Faye was feeling a little better but she was very discouraged about everything. She didn't know what to think about all of this. It was a lot to take in. "But you know, since I'm also a...werewolf...maybe that means the sun won't affect me all that much. And maybe I can do more things than what you're saying." She really wasn't looking forward into going into the wolf's territory after last night. She still didn't remember much of what happened but if what he said was true, she wasn't looking forward into going into the wolf's territory. "Well, I'm gong to stick with you. I don't trust them at all!"She really wasn't too happy when he mentioned her ears, she didn't want to be reminded of them, she just wanted to at least look normal even though he was now far from it.

Faye stared at him as though she couldn't believe what she heard. "What. Really? After everything that's happened I still have to do my lesson?" She was't looking forward to it.

ml1201 01-24-2016 02:12 AM

"Now don't be surprised, I've had to learn myself, mostly to keep people off my back and to play nice with the humans in the area. Haven't you wondered why I never rejected a party invitation? Because people get suspicious otherwise." He turns his head to the window as he hears the carriage being brought up. "And don't worry about that werewolf that did this, his alpha is not at all pleased with what's happened thanks to him and his friends. He probably was afraid of a war breaking out again between our races. Though I'm more concerned about loosing myself than anything...she would return if that were to happen." While staring off in thought his eyes take on a red glow, his eyes full of agony remembering his past. Then he turns back to her, his eyes their normal silver color, "Well, let me quickly change, I'll meet you at the carriage."

He leaves hastily, changing into more travel suited clothing than his normal suits. If there was a bit of a scuff with the pack's pups he'd rather not get his good clothing ruined. He's hardly gone before he's down at the carriage, bowing and opening the door for Faye.

"The trip shouldn't take too long, I'll be heading towards where I found you last night, which is near their territory. I was planning on sending a bat familiar ahead to inform the alpha I'd be coming." A cute little fuzzy bat made of shadows appears in his hand, then flies off in the direction of the woods. Isaac then climbs into the carriage and signals for the familiar driving the carriage to go.

"Well, I was human and I never liked those parties. I'm sure you could have turned down a few couldn't you?" Faye questioned as she stretched. As she listened to him, she knew that there was so much she didn't know about Isaac despite all this time that they were together. She felt a bit disheartened by that fact and she didn't even know who "she" was. It must have really upset him seeing his eyes turn like that. It was the first she saw his eyes turn red and it proved that this really wasn't all made up, aside from the fact that she just drank some of his blood. As he went to change, she also went to change. She wore a white lacy dress. She just wished that her tail could have more freedom but it was best to keep it in hiding. Grabbing a white hat to go with the dress, she tucked her ears underneath though it was rather painful. She looked very dressed up which meant she felt constricted. Remembering that there was a werewolf there who bit her because he wanted her, she hoped such an outfit wouldn't set him off.

"I'm sorry. This is all my fault, I've done this to myself. If only I had just done the stupid lesson, we wouldn't be doing any of this. I wouldn't be some freak. I would be an innocent human who knew nothing of this world. The only part that makes me happy is that I know just a little bit more about you. Why did you keep this from me? It's not like I would have told others. Did you not trust me?"

Faye walked outside and into the carriage. She rushed in to make sure that the sun didn't
Seeing all of his familiars was a bit weird for her. She wondered when she would get her first familiar, it would be rather nice to have creatures that she could control. "So um...back inside, you talked about some lady, who was she?" She asked curiously.

ml1201 01-24-2016 08:41 AM

Isaac's hand clenches on the handle of his cane, he had been hoping she wouldn't ask, sighing because he knew he couldn't avoid it anymore.

"'She' is the vampire that turned me into a vampire.I had worked hard, my family being of lower standing, in order to make it into a university of medicine on a scholarship. I believe I was twenty, its been nearly five hundred years so I'm not certain anymore how old I was, but that was the worst day of my life. We were having a big dinner to celebrate me getting in when someone knocked at the door, we just thought it was someone else coming by to congratulate me, but there was an unfamiliar woman standing there. She used her vampiric powers to bind and silence all of us, and one by one she drank my family dry and defiled their bodies. She took the most time to do that to my little sister, who was only ten at the time, to really make it sting. I was powerless to stop it, then to top it all off she turned me. She took me back to her lair, torturing me mentally by making me drink the blood of people resembling my family. Because she was my master and never gave me blood outside of the change I had to obey her orders even if I didn't want to."

At this point he's staring off into space, his eyes glowing red at the memory, "Then one day I found a way to bind her, then drink her dry, making her my familiar. But there's advantages and disadvantages with this; I can use all her powers because of this, but if I loose control of myself I leave myself open to her and she'll drink me dry to come back. I've been researching ways to make it so she can't, but thus far I have been finding nothing. She was an ancient vampire, I can recall some of her memories when I want, but I think she might have been one of the original vampires since she seems to have no memory at all of being turned. Though needless to say she's less than please; Lilith the Bloody outwitted by a mere fledgling."

The carriage comes to a stop as they reach their destination, Isaac taking a few moments to calm himself, his eyes returning to being silver after a bit.

Rozen 01-24-2016 10:11 AM

Faye placed a hand on his shoulder and gave him a gentle smile. "So that means that you ad the other one who bit me has control over me?" She asked. She really didn't like the sound of that. She didn't want to be controlled. But it was selfish of her to bring that up after he told his heart wrenching story. "I'm sorry that happened to you. I don't have any family left either but you. And I guess you know the pain of what it feels like to loose your younger sibling. He was such a good little brother. Always wanting to be with me, do whatever I did. He was more of a headache then me so be thankful I was the one who...was there." She was trying to lighten up the mood but really just saying all that out loud made it worse.

"I won't let anything happen to you. I-I guess you're my...mas-ter...now so you have to look out for me and in return, I make sure you don't get hurt from that psychopath!" She smiled brightly at him. As the carriage topped, she became nervous over what this alpha was like. She really hoped that he was a nice as what Isaac was saying. Well, maybe nice wasn't exactly the word.

Faye was also worried about the sun, Isaac said that it wouldn't kill her, just turn her into a crispy looking human. But still.

The alpha was waiting for them and seeing the carriage arrive up, he knew that it must be them. He wondered what this mix of the two breeds would look like. He wasn't alone, there seemed to be a stunning woman y his side. Her eyes were o the bluest of all blues and her hair a platinum blonde color that seemed to go all the way down to her lower back. It was still shorter than Faye's hair, which was extremely long like she hadn't had a hair cut since the day she was born. This woman just oozed a womanly air about her. Faye began sniffing in their direction, something about the smell of those two together, it wasn't a bad aroma. Seeing her sniff towards them, the luna giggled. "So you can also smell our pheromones?! Hello, I'm the Luna of our pack, Alice. This is my mate...I-I'm sorry, I don't remember your human name." The man just shook his head. "My name is Arden." He answered. "So you're the vampire wolf breed that my mate has been talking about?! This must all be so confusing and new to you so here it goes. First thing first, since you're bitten, while you can turn at any time during the day, at night however, that's a different story. All bitten can learn to control it as they get much, MUCH older but it's rather rare. The difference between the bitten and the born is the simple fact that we were born this way. Our DNA is mostly that of a wolf but thanks to the Moon Goddess, Luna, she turned the first wolf into a human. Since you were born human, nighttime is when you can release your inner wolf since it has to come out. I you don't let your wolf out, you will be unbearable to deal with. You...you would feel like you're going insane, to put it nicely. So if you ever do take control, which is quite rare, let out that wolf once a day preferable, no longer than three days. But you really won't have to worry about that. Another thing is full moons. All of us wolves are affected. You know how some animals go crazy on full moons, same concept BUT a million times worse. Trust me, you will not be yourself on a full moon. All day you will pretty much not be pleasant to be around to put it gently and once it's dark out, you turn into a killing machine, you will attack at anything or anyone. There is only one person you won't attack and that's usually your mate. All wolves have a mate somewhere in this world, even the bitten because the Moon Goddess wanted it to be easier for us to find love so if we see our mated one, there's this bond, this pull to them that you cannot ignore. It takes a while for a bitten to officially have a bond with another wolf and this bond can be mistaken for just your normal lust if you have been mated yet. You can be attracted to many people but there's only one mate. So any questions so far?" She asked looking at them. Even as the sun beat down on Faye, her skin still wasn't crispy. She really didn't seem to be affected at all except for the brightness of it, even though it was still morning.

ml1201 01-24-2016 10:43 AM

He gives her a weak smile, "No, I gave you my blood so you are no longer bound to me. But if only it were that simple to handle Lilith..." Isaac has the door open to watch over Faye as she greets the alphas, bowing his head in respect to the two of them.

"Pardon me, I actually have a question that you might not be able to answer. As you can see she is definitely part vampire, yet the wolf part of her prevents her from being hurt by the sun, something that normally would only be the case with an ancient. Is it possible that since she's part vampire she'd be able to have more control over transformations?" Isaac didn't know much about werewolves, what he just heard was the most he'd ever heard. Lilith just killed them anytime she saw them, and making her his familiar is probably what helped to end the war between the two races.

Rozen 01-24-2016 11:15 AM

Faye just stared at her arms as nothing was really happening. She looked like she had gotten a tan but nothing more serious looking than that.

"That is something I do not know. If she does have more control, then it probably won't show until she's more adjusted. But the mere fact that she isn't a wolf right now shows me that she actually has more control than just a normal bitten werewolf. Usually when they are first bitten, they have no control and their wolf side just takes over. Even though the wolf is you, it's also like a separate entity. And it needs to come out quite often. So I say yes but how much control she has, I don't know. I wish I could tell you more but I can't. Sorry." She answered.

Faye hoped that she would have more control, she really wasn't looking forward to being some hairy creature tonight. "That one from last night said that he was claiming me, what does that mean exactly?" She asked.

"As I said before about mates, our son thought you were his. He claimed you meaning that he was claiming you as hi mate. Usually we are paired up with other wolves. The last time a wolf was mated with a human, it didn't end well with for the wolf. Not wanting to turn the human into a wolf also, she never claimed him. So their bond was never sealed properly. He said that he would love her no matter what, she didn't need to bite him. But their relationship came crumbling down wen a wolf was seen attacking a village and the man thought it was her because she had blood all over her. He killed her instead only to learn that it was a different wolf, a wolf she was fighting to keep him from attacking the village. Instead of killing the human, he wanted him to suffer in misery and turned him."

When Alice was telling the story, Arden seemed to have been tensing up. "Is he going to be ok?" She asked. Alice looked over at Arden, lifting up his head, she smiled and kissed him. "Yeah, he will be fine. He personally knew who that happened to so he really doesn't want to hear the story even though it happened over seven hundred years ago." Though Faye couldn't help but feel like there was more to it than that but she dropped the subject.

ml1201 01-24-2016 11:41 AM

"Thank you, I thought that might be the case, and I know in a way how that man feels about being turned and made to suffer. Though it was different circumstances. One last thing if you don't mind, I take it you've never seen anyone with Faye's predicament? Do you think its possible that if she were to let her wolf out she'd be able to make her appearance to how she wants? Meaning if she doesn't want the ears and tail letting the wolf out for a bit might help?"

Isaac wasn't all that surprised to hear that there were those among the werewolves with such a mind, he just couldn't say anything about other vampires since he only ever knew Lilith. When Luna answers he nods his head in understanding, "Well, that seems about all I can think of to ask. I would like to invite you to my home for dinner or a stroll in the garden. After all, all of us are going to have to look after and teach Faye many things it seems."

Rozen 01-24-2016 12:06 PM

"Um...I don't know. That's really something that I think can only be developed over time if you were bitten. If you were born, you usually don't have them. Well, children do until they are older when they can manipulate them. But when children are younger, they usually stay as a wolf until they become more self aware and understand that they can become human. But I think Faye won't be able to manipulate them any time soon." She explained to Isaac.

Faye stared at the Alpha and Luna. She could tell they were lying, she didn't know how but she could. What were they lying about? Was it the story in general? Or was it that he actually didn't know the person? If that was the case then why is he so upset? But if the whole story was a lie, then why did he look genuinely upset about the whole mess? Seeing her wheels turning, Alice discreetly shook her head. Understanding what she was trying to tell her, Faye nodded.

"We will accept your offer. After all, the last thing any of us need is for her to get discovered by the humans. If that ever happens, we will have to kill them whether we want to or not." Arden showed some apprehension about the thought of killing humans. Alice just rubbed his arm and smiled. "Our son will stay away. After all, he had heard that story, along with every werewolf in existence, so that's why he bit her. It wasn't out of hatred or anything. He knew the story of the first human and wolf and so instead of properly greeting her, he listened to his hormones. Those gosh darn hormones! Be glad you don't have to raise a wolf BEFORE puberty! I hear humans complain about it but they never had to deal with a teenaged wolf!" She giggled. Arden let out a small chuckle. "Luckily, he's finally growing out of it since he's twenty."

"Son, get out here NOW!" Arden ordered as he smelt his son's scent. Faye moved closer to Isaac knowing that he would protect her. She was rather nervous about seeing him. He came out from a close by building and walked over to his parents. "I just wanted to see her is all. I should be the one who helps her since I bit her, I should take responsibility!" He argued hoping his parents would allow him to. "NO! You cannot even comprehend what you have done wrong! You will take responsibility but your mother and I will deal with her, NOT you! You cannot control yourself, Tristan!" He growled.

"We really should get going." Alice smiled and then moved closer. "So what time should we be there?" She asked low enough for her son not to overhear.

ml1201 01-24-2016 12:28 PM

"Preferably after sunset, since the sun is not good for my complexion after all." Isaac laughs a bit at his own joke, hoping that Alice doesn't mind a bit of Humor. He then turns his attention to Faye, "You might want to get in before you get any crispier, I'm going to have to make some salve for you to use on your skin. Not sure how quickly you'll heal from that or if you'll need blood before you can heal up. I'm probably going to have to make a place for you to rest in the lab, since its below ground for when you need to escape from the sun." He nods his head in thanks to the alphas, waiting for Faye to get in so that they can leave.

Rozen 01-24-2016 12:59 PM

The two bowed back and left dragging their son along with them so he wouldn't sneak off to go with them. Faye was only tanned from being out in the sun. She got into the carriage happily to know that their son wouldn't bother her. "Hey about Arden...They were lying about that story. I don't know how I knew, but I knew. I don't know what they were lying about though. It's weird, I never really was able to tell who's lying and who's not." She told Isaac. She felt weird to know that she was never going to be human again. She felt the thirst from earlier again. It was stronger than before, her eyes turned blood red. "I-Isaac!" She cried. "W-why do I feel like this?" She asked as tears ran down her eyes She didn't realize that it was because she wanted blood. "It hurts so much!" She told him as she wrapped her arms around her body.

ml1201 01-24-2016 01:44 PM

"Hmm...the lie could have been that they know the human from the story, and that Arden might have actually been that human. With how it was stated that's the conclusion I come to, but if they want to keep it to themselves it's probably best not to pry." The carriage begins to move, rocking the two of them gently as it takes them back home. Isaac knew instantly what was wrong when he saw her eyes turn red, sighing mentally because he had hoped he'd have more time.

"It seems my blood was not enough to quench your thirst, I'll probably have to take you out to the town so that you may drink someone's blood. I'll take care in luring them to us, but I'm not certain if you'll be able to drink without the chance of turning them. Our best bet is probably to make a cut on the upper arm and let you drink from that, then I'll heal the wound. I'll make sure you don't drink too much that it will leave the person in danger."

Tapping the floor of the carriage, he lets his familiar know to head into town, going to the busier section with all the shops, having the familiar stop on one of the side roads leading out. Normally he'd just pick any walker by, regardless of gender and status, but he figured someone who was a laborer would probably be better because they were stronger and healthier than the merchants and nobles in the vicinity. Holding up his hand, he flexes his fingers so that it seems like he's holding an orb, a teenage boy with a bit of muscle on him walks up to the carriage.

"Greetings Mister Crawford, what's brings you out here today?"

Rozen 01-24-2016 02:21 PM

"You really think that he could have been the human? He doesn't smell human. But, I guess if he lived for that long as a wolf, he wouldn't smell anything like a human. But I guess you're right, I should just drop it, it's none of my business." She stated. It really wasn't any of her business but she did like that she could sniff out a lie, it would come to be handy for is anyone ever tried to lie to her.

Faye would much prefer his blood to a human but that could endanger him possibly. She really didn't know but if it could endanger him, she didn't want to drink his blood that often. She was worried about killing the human but when he said that he would help her, she felt relief. "Thank you. The last thing I want is to hurt any human. I would feel so guilty. I don't want to kill anyone." She told him as she looked down. She was nervous about the full moon that was actually coming soon. She had studied the stars and moon, mostly because Isaac wanted her as knowledgeable about the world as possible. One of the last things she needed to learn was dancing to get ready for the balls and what not, though considering what she had turned into she doubted that she would ever attend because of life changing events.

"He knows you?! I-I can't drink from someone who knows you! Isn't that...I don't know, bad?" She asked but smelling his blood flowing through his body, she just couldn't help herself. She was so close to biting him without waiting for Isaac to make the cut. She wanted his blood now. It took everything in her power to hold herself back from attacking him.

ml1201 01-24-2016 03:02 PM

"There's plenty of people who know me, you forget I publish to the medical journal, sending copies to the bookstore and library. So to them I'm a famous person who mostly stays home." The young man doesn't say anything as Isaac explains, only a warm smile on his face. Then he says loudly enough for any passerby to hear, "I wish I could join you out on the street, sadly because of my health I can't be out in the direct sun, but way don't you rest a bit in here. I take it you've seen my local journal then since you recognize me?"

"Yes sir! Your biography mentioned you have a skin condition where you get terrible sun burns from being in the sun for even a few minutes! Must be awful, I wouldn't be able to live that way if it were me." Isaac closes the door after the young man, the curtain on the door obscuring what's really going on in the carriage. He rolls up the sleeves of the shirt so that the upper arm is exposed, then takes out a letter opener and makes a cut perpendicular to the veins to prevent the teenager from bleeding out.

"What does your family do? Have you been thinking of going to the medical field? You seem to know a lot about me."

"My father and brothers are all farmers, but I'm allergic to onions, so I can't work the fields. Your journals are actually how I found out I was allergic, you listed some of the common symptoms which I had most of them. My family couldn't figure out for years why I was sick. I even read the journals of the men you mentioned before in your bio that inspired you, you have a very similar writing style to them, so they must have influenced you a lot." Isaac is watching Faye carefully, placing his hand on her shoulder to signal her to stop.

"What do you do then? Seems odd for one who's family are farmers to be in town."

"Ah, I get that a lot actually. My mom sells flowers she grows in her garden in town as bouquets that people can decorate their table with, and for a decent price too. I help out with that and running the stall."

"Hm...maybe I could have you both come by some time then and have a look at my garden. Faye normally takes care of it, but I think its a bit much for her to do, and right now is probably not a good time for her to be doing that, what with how easily people can get sick this time of year." He had been meaning to get someone to tend the garden now and again, his garden might not be as big as what other nobles had, but it wasn't small either.

Rozen 01-24-2016 03:16 PM

Faye always forgets, she hardly ever gets to go out and when she did, she hardly ever paid attention to other people's conversations so they could be talking about him, she just wouldn't have known it. No one knew who she was so it wasn't like people would come up to her and ask her about Isaac, not that she really minded that, especially now that she was different.

She was actually shocked that Isaac wasn't going to make him pass out or something, she would have to listen to him talk as she took his blood. It was rather awkward really but her thirst needed to be quenched so she began to suck on his arm. The blood of the human felt so good in her mouth. She loved every taste but compared to Isaac's, it wasn't half as good. For some reason she got the feeling that no one would ever have blood that tasted as good as her sire's. Was it because he was her sire? Or was it something else entirely. Despite the blood not being as good as her guardian's she still couldn't stop even after he had signaled for her to do so.

ml1201 01-24-2016 04:11 PM

Sighing, Isaac cuts his hand with the letter opener, holding his hand near Faye's mouth while gently pulling her back to separate her from the teenager.

"Well, um...that would be quite an honor sir. Just send a letter to the bookstore for us, I'm good friends with the owners son, he's the one who taught me how to read." He licks the young man's wound until its healed, then pulls his sleeve back down. Luckily, since the interior of the carriage is darker than outside, he's able to use his powers to conceal Faye whilst she drinks his blood and sends the young man on his way.

"Faye, you're going to have to stop, if this keeps up I won't be able to move until night fall. I didn't have any blood myself last night because I was worried about you. Anymore and I may be too weak to go out and find a source myself." He face is flush, leaning back against the seat while his breathing becomes a bit labored. What he wasn't expecting was that he actually enjoyed this sensation. Even though having lost so much blood he felt a strong urge building in him, not entirely certain what it was. Though, the more Faye drank, the more he wanted to drink her blood in turn, and in ways he's never done before.

Rozen 01-24-2016 04:26 PM

Faye couldn't stop herself, but when she smelled Isaac's blood, she moved over to him and began to drink his blood happily. She wanted all of it, she wanted his blood, it was just so good. It wasn't until the wolf part of her mentally smacked herself upside her head and told her exactly what Isaac was telling her. She stopped immediately and looked at him with shame written all over her face as her eyes went to their normal color. "I-I'm sorry Sir." She apologized. "I-i I took too much then you can have some of mine. I know that it won't taste really good but..." She held out her wrist for him to take her blood since she didn't want him to be drained dry of his blood. If she had killed him, she would have never forgiven herself. Maybe it was actually a good thing that she was also part wolf for when she would get too carried away, she could use the other side to knock some sense into herself.

"I-i that guy going to be alright? I-I didn't almost kill him did I?" She was feeling utterly guilty and wished that she could have more control. "I-is it normal to be unable to control the bloodlust? I don't want to kill anyone. I don't want to hurt anyone." She told him. Grabbing his hand, she kissed it as though she was trying to make it feel better like what a mother does to their child to make them feel better for when they get hurt.
