Your Personality Type

https://www.16personalities.com

I thought it was very interesting and the results were shockingly accurate for me.

Basically there are 16 different personalities that determine how you operate and how you would function in a job, relationship, or simply life in general.

My result is ENFP-t and I find every little detail about ENFP is correct and relates to me perfectly. Especially the comment about being the most introverted of the extroverts. xD

What's your type?

Tiva 05-03-2016 08:06 PM

INFJ all the way

I am such an Introvert….

Glitch 05-03-2016 08:11 PM

INFP

I generally think that sounds pretty much about right.

INFP is the answer I expected out of most people here since they tend to enjoy creative thought, what if's, and the arts.

But it's interesting to know how people think. :3

Lawtan 05-03-2016 08:39 PM

INFP-t on this one.
Not sure how accurate that is. I feel that it doesn't match fully.

Fulkth 05-03-2016 10:01 PM

I am really excited to take the test.

I'll be sure to tell everyone of my results. XD

-patiently waiting-

I must know. FOR EVIL PLANS SCIENCE.

Den 05-03-2016 11:52 PM

I'm an INFP. Very strongly introverted.

Gallagher 05-04-2016 12:18 AM

ISFJ. Figured I should post it here, since I don't see anyone else with it yet.

SparX 05-04-2016 01:08 AM

I am an INTJ
=3
according to this site only .8 of the population are the same as me.

Demonskid 05-04-2016 07:27 AM

I'm INTP o3o

I was reading some of the info on INTP's and a lot of it fits my personality.. >w> the one part about how INTP's look when concentrating tht is me to a T... My one Ex Boyfriend said I was emotionless and needed to be put on meds and I was concentrating on my Kamen Rider Fan Pixels! D:<

Basically you would be the person people look to for new ideas or ways to completely replace an existing system and have a better one in place.

Oddly enough my conversations the past 3 weeks have been about changing how we work together as humanity XD obviously though that's gonna be a lot harder said then done, but more important is to open peoples minds to the change to allow themselves to become it, you know what I mean? XD
I also completely agree with the whole super contradiction part of living style too XD

Poggio 05-04-2016 11:37 AM

I will have to retake this quiz. There is one trait that I tend to flip flop between and I am not sure if it was the last trait or the one before it.

ENFP-A?
I am not sure thats right since I usually get Introvert.

Lawtan 05-04-2016 11:55 AM

I think that defeats the purpose. You bias the results if you retake it, even if the description doesn't fit you.

Poggio 05-04-2016 12:00 PM

I mean I have taken this quiz on a different site before and I have gotten my results as usually IN... something rather. I believe I usually flip flop between feeling and thinking but this site apparently says I am an extrovert.

Coda 05-04-2016 02:32 PM

The problem with MBTI and such are that these categories are really more like spectrums instead of discrete groups. If you flip-flop on one of the letters, that means you're not especially strongly biased towards either end of the spectrum, but instead you draw from both when making decisions. Which one you draw from in any given situation depends on your current state of mind and the particular details of the decision being made.

If I were to make a personality test, I would make sure I've got a "mixed" entry on each axis. Of course that would mean there would be 81 results instead of 16 on the MBTI...

Lawtan 05-04-2016 04:05 PM

^This.
Mine vary a bit depending on my mood. Also, I have no clue if my view of self is accurate for saying what my personality is.

Coda 05-04-2016 04:09 PM

I once took a MBTI test that showed each part of the result on a graph, to indicate how strong of an influence each one had on you, in order to account for exactly this phenomenon. If I recall correctly, two of my categories were both split pretty evenly down the middle.

Awen Moonshine 05-04-2016 04:30 PM

Hmmm... I got INFP-T...

To be fair I am super introverted and barely leave the house because of it... Even phone calls make me anxious and I spend most of my time (when I can) crafting in one way or another, reading fantasy books (normally with strong but conflicted female leads) or playing games online...

Fulkth 05-05-2016 04:50 PM

I am an INTP-T.

I have no idea what that means.

But I could be an INJP-T too.

Since I got 49% for judging and 51% for prospecting.

Illusion 05-05-2016 09:16 PM

I had a friend take the test today and even though he was close to certain results I read to him how his group thinks and he agreed on all accounts.

But that's not to say he doesn't think in certain ways on occasion. I think the overall result and goal is to find how you think or operate on a close average.

Potironette 05-07-2016 08:35 PM

I'm kind of in between infp-t and the istp one. The first time I remember taking the test and getting insp, then infp, then switching between the two. When reading the descriptions, I'm kind of a mix of both too :/

Espy 05-09-2016 09:50 PM

Yeah, on the MBTI I've always been IN-P. The logic/emotions question has always been really hard for me, but I average out leaning a bit more towards T than F (I'd say maybe 52/48?).

On the same note, with the enneagram, I'm a 5 with a 4-wing, aka 5w4, which corresponds to INTP with INFP tendencies.

On the same note as Coda, the MBTI and enneagram tests are both spectrum-based; the enneagram specifically has a spectrum for each type, as well as wings.

Not expecting many E---'s around here, especially ES--'s.

Coda 05-10-2016 01:22 PM

The MBTI itself does, but most pop-culture implementations of it don't.

SparX 05-10-2016 08:05 PM

I'm still waiting for someone to be my twin =(

Tiva 05-10-2016 08:35 PM

Same Spar

*pouts and waits for another INFJ*

Yokuutsu 05-10-2016 09:03 PM

INFP-T

Last time I took the myers briggs...they told me intp/infp...which the t/p are still fairly close to balanced on this one too for me.

Coda 05-10-2016 09:19 PM

For the sake of discussion, this particular test yielded INTP-A, but right on the cusp on N/O and T/F.

This marks a change in my personality. I used to be a lot more heavily T than F, but I've had a couple of major breakdowns over the last couple of years that have made me a lot more emotionally raw.

Usually I'm on the cusp for J/P leaning J (INTJ is my most common result) but this test asked a lot of questions that poke at my ADHD, which biases the results according to how I do things when I'm NOT making conscious choices as opposed to how I do things when I AM making them -- also, having a messy work area is a conscious choice (J) for me.

Tiva 05-10-2016 09:39 PM

I am in the 80+% for each of my traits, which wasn't a big surprise at all. Most of the things were spot on, Strong ideals but soft spoken and try to not offend people. Non confrontational with a high drive to do something with out a large amount of personal gain.

Yokuutsu 05-10-2016 09:51 PM

I have two in the 70s...the others are in the 50-60s

Gaius 05-17-2016 11:56 PM

I usually get INTP on these tests, with occasional variations in I-E and T-F, depending on my mood.

Even though Jung types have no basis in science, I can't help but relate to mine. The mental image of an absent-minded professor who is completely lost in their own head is literally me every day as a teacher.

Lawtan 05-18-2016 10:32 AM

...Don't have much to talk about, but anyone know a good Enneagram link out there?

Citrus 05-18-2016 10:55 AM

MEDIATOR (INFP-T)

Really accurate haha

noisechannelrocker 06-17-2016 02:26 AM

My personity type is INTJ!

This has been my problem in the past couple years as well. The first time I took the MBTI was in senior year of high school. ADHD had /probably/ already manifested, but depressed and anxiety didn't fully emerge until about three years ago, so I currently lean a lot more towards INFP and 4 on the Enneagram than I used to (previous results tended more towards INTP and 5).

What do you mean?

Pessimisticat 06-17-2016 01:47 PM

INFJ! Although, I'm on the border between I and E, just a little more I.

Potironette 06-17-2016 01:56 PM

Took it again because I had nothing to do and ended up with something new: INTP-T

So, I've gotten: ISTP-T, INFP-T, and INTP-T xD

Edit: In reading INTP's stuff, I think the description fits me best of all the ones I've gotten. But I only ever act like an INTP around my sister. I'm not really comfortable just talking to other people I guess :/

Espy 06-17-2016 02:20 PM

INTPs generally don't talk much around other people anyways.

Unless we hit a topic we enjoy.

Then we /really/ start talking.

Potironette 06-17-2016 02:30 PM

Haha, for some reason I'm never really interested in a topic myself. And if someone brings up a topic, I might get suddenly interested in it xD. But I wouldn't really say anything unless I was comfortable talking with whoever said this or that o_o.

On another note, I think 16 personalities has a love affair with dashes (-) in their intro-to-the-personality pages.
