A Train named M.O.R.C.
 

Welcome, dear ones...welcome indeed. I daresay I am afraid I have lost my way.

You see, I was running along my rails, as any proper train would, maintaining the watery caverns, as any proper train should,

when I lost my grip on the rails and fell into this portal.

On yonder side - this side - I had a most comfortable landing...I fear I may have rendered her unaware.

This dragoness was on her way to a masquerade, and not wanting her to miss out, I've carried her somnolent form here.

She's yet to wake up...so I'm opening my passenger cars to her friends while she recovers.

Feel free to browse my hoard of copper sculptures. Unless you are a thief with a robotic dog companion, of course.

I'm having a hard time picturing MORC. Is MORC a living thing?

Why, of course...sort of. MORC is made of lizard and panther tissue, connected via robotics and electronics to a very well-created AI and high-end computer system...and is also a passenger train.

Sort of imagine a locomotive with a hinged grill (to look like he is laughing/talking) and one amber eye-light, but the gaps between cars look like parts of a Komodo dragon.

MORC is a very prideful dragon...cat...train...AI...thing...

Why do you like copper sculptures so much? Why not gold or diamond, or obsidian?

Are your copper sculptures green or copper?

Wow, I didn't even know copper sculptures can in various colors.

I figured that they would be copper-colored.

Well, I don't think a green copper sculpture is really green copper. By green I mean old copper sculptures that have changed color over the years. Like when a copper coin turns green ><'

Working on the Drawing. Hmm...pixel-wize, probably 1000 pixels across. To give scale, a person is 100 pixels tall.


MORC guards copper. They are a copper art curator. It's a mythological reference to the Underwater Panther, a creature that controls the Great Lakes and guards copper. Also, copper wiring is of value to the land MORC comes from.

More copper than copper oxide. For a big oaf, MORC is meticulous about keeping the artworks in good shape. Actually a tad difficult considering his job of maintaining railways/waterways in his caves.

MORC runs on steam, but I think uses cleaner, less toxic, methods of energy to get said steam. They do have to keep the biological part of themselves nourished as well. Before she passed out due to having a massive weight falling on her, Lawtan may have spied two mouths on MORC. MORC eats a ton of minerals daily.

Yes, indeed. A train with hobbies, jobs, and a personality.

How large? And how does MORC clean stuff?

MORC cleans the copper art gallery, and makes sure the railroads and waterways are functioning. MORC's a bit longer than a Blue Whale. Or ~120 ft (~34 m), and about 3 m (~10 ft) tall.

Ohh, the copper gallery is a place xD. I thought that MORC had a copper collection on him.
I don't suppose the dragoness is waking anytime soon x3?
