Anyone doing this?

I'm mostly making a thread as motivation to actually do a sketch every day.

It's certainly not a bad idea...I have been trying to draw more. But I've pretty much never done ink drawings specifically. Always pencil or digital stuff.

I...outdid myself. Oops.
Toho, I'm not very good at felt-tip pens, but I used to draw exclusively with ballpoints. (Then I switched back to pencil after high school. Not sure why.) Markers pose a challenge for me because my hands aren't too steady, so controlling line width and such is difficult. But there are a few art styles out there that use bold lines, and I want to try my hand at it. Will need...a lot...of practice.

Not really this time around. Generally, I'm just doing my work as I have time, so quotas sort of a way to turn goals into sources of stress here. Good luck, though! :D

I'm proud of her. She's been so stressed out over not drawing very much over the last couple years, and then she pulls that off and proves she's still got it.

I liked your person you did yesterday (even if you don't) But good of you for doing this.

Didn't even know this was a thing. I've decided to do a couple things since I'm trying to get back into art regularly, but getting my stuff onto a computer is always irritating. I need a better method of image hosting than Photobucket.

Currently a bit behind, since work got the better of me.

Imgur's a decent way to upload things. There's also the option of deviantart and the like, of course.

I have a DA but I rarely put stuff on it unless it's something I really feel like sharing. Photobucket was okay to start but now it's slow, tedious, and has all these features that I don't really want. Guess I can make an "Inktober" folder on my DA, since it's pretty dull around there right now. Alas, my scanner is crummy (at least when it comes to sticking a ring-bound sketchbook) so photos work better.

I could draw like that... if I wanted to....

Now that you've seen someone else do it? ;)
