Hiya, Jinx! Welcome. :D

You can get started with your avatar by heading over to the Shops up top. In "Body Shop" you can pick up some free face items, in "Threads" There' some free clothing, and in the Salon you can get some free hair.

Posting will get you aurum, which you can use to buy stuff in all those shops there. You can also get some items out of the Crane Game in the games tab.

Once you've got a couple items, click on your outline avatar up in the top right and start sticking items on! :D

What's the Token shop?

Crane Game is a game you can play a few times a day to get free stuff! :)
There are various achievements around Trisphee that will award you anka tokens, you can use those to purchase items in the token shop. Aurum, which you get for posting can be used in the other shops and runes are the donation currency to be used in the shop Archiac Antiquities.

token shop is where you can spend the currency you get for meeting posting goals<3

Okay, I think i'm getting it.. I'm just trying to figure out this avatar thing now.

There are a few!

The avatar system is a little tricky (but it is getting redone very soon so it will be easier!)
You can layer as many things as you want though and there is a layering tab so you can drag stuff around and get different looks.

uuum, well i do suggest playing around in hangouts since that is where a lot of activity happens and i also suggest getting chummy with toho or gallagher as they are our lovely heads and know all there is to know about things XD

Aside from possibly 1 on 1 rp threads, it's usually okay to pop into any thread conversation you want. And start your own if it strikes your fancy. Don't have to be limited to one.
