Ohhh tell me you favorite metal genre and bands :)) my genre is pagan, progressive death, progressive :) my favorite bands are the most German bands! Like suidakra or eistegen :)

I gotta be curious, where are you from? I can usually get a rough idea of it from people's talking style but I can't pin it down for you.

Nah, it's no criticism. I'm used to people who speak English as a second language -- I'm just used to being able to figure out what their native language is from their speech patterns! :P Like, you can identify French speakers because they put a space before ! and ? in their sentences.

Usually I identify people who speak German as their native language because they tend to capitalize nouns in the middle of sentences (like German does).

I know at least one Dutch person registered on this forum, but she hasn't logged in for years.

Hmmmmm metal genre...... Nu Metal, Heavy Metal, some grunge? Death and some Thrash. Alternative and Industrial rock are also a liked genre set.
Some of my favorite band(S) are Slipknot (I have part of the heretic anthem on my collar),System of a Down, Otep, Hatebreed, Korn, Apocalyptica, In Flames, Metallica, Mushroomhead, Avenged Sevenfold, Bullet for my Valentine, HIM, Breaking Benjamin and Lacuna Coil.

Yes, of course it is. You learned correctly. But plenty of people don't try to remember all the rules all the time, and they just want to write what they want to say quickly instead of checking for mistakes. And honestly, it's not a big deal. The point of language is to communicate, so as long as both sides of the conversation understand what's meant, perfect grammar and spelling isn't all that important.
