What is your most amount of consecutive hours have you played a game?

I'm curious. The most consecutive hours?

Mine was 6 hours. .__. I was young, first got Ocarina of Time collectors edition for the gamecube. I loved the game.

I mean... I can't be the only one here lol.

Coda 01-10-2017 01:29 AM

Consecutive hours? I'm pretty sure I've done 18 at some point in my history, and it wouldn't surprise me if my record was as high as 22 back in college.

Bassy 01-10-2017 01:37 AM

Wow, My eyes would hurt. I couldn't do 18 hours lol.

Coda 01-10-2017 01:41 AM

I do 18 hours in front of a computer screen... fairly often? Not usually doing the same thing the whole time, not anymore, but between work and pleasure it's not that unusual to have days where I get up, get on the computer, and don't put it down for more than food and bathroom breaks until bedtime.

XoGizmooX 01-10-2017 01:49 AM

When Pokemon came out in the 90s on game boy I played Pokemon Yellow from start to finish in I believe like 10 hours completing the game ^.^

SparX 01-10-2017 02:00 AM

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I daily try to spend at least 3-5 hours playing a day. When I have a really good amount of time off I have done overnights gaming also XD
The most would probably be somewhere around 15-16 hours straight minus potty breaks. Any sort of game, from sims (which I find fun to play drunk oddly) to oblivion, even to flash games off kongregate XD

Kaderin Triste 01-10-2017 02:03 AM

Umm...I think when I used to play Maplestory AGES ago (I haven't played in almost 5 years), I probably had a couple of 10-12 hour nights.
Usually anymore, I max out at about 2 hours of gaming.

Bassy 01-10-2017 02:04 AM

I forgot about sims hahaha, I played sims for 4 hours straight without realizing it until my roommate mentioned it lol.I was so invested in the story.

SparX 01-10-2017 02:33 AM

Sims is a dangerous game for me XD

Bassy 01-10-2017 02:39 AM

I got my sims moved to two homes and engaged, and tried for baby in one day. I love the outcomes lol.

... HOW? O.o Yellow is like 30 hours long normally, and 18 hours is rushing it.

I recently saw a thing online about sim games and one gave me an idea.
So now I have 5 artists (4 now, I murdered one to make space for a child) and one caretaker/evil genius to keep track of them and make them food. XD

Definitely more than 6 hours, probably 8 or 10, I would guess. Also Zelda: OoT, but on the N64. We had it rented for three days or so, so we sat down with a guide and burned through the whole thing.

I pretty much have the whole of it memorized but would still need a guide to find all the heart pieces and spiders. I can get enough on my own to get by, though.

I could sit down for an easy 12 hours now, on something like Skyrim or Morrowind. I played the same MW character for 10 years. I was awesome!

I may be a little off on hours it may have been 18 but it was under a day I didn't collect the Pokemon and complete the dex but I rushed through from start til the final gym and end credits then again I started with high level Pokemon too

As for other things I can do about a straight 12 hours of avi sites which I normally do daily (mixed multiple avi sites) chatting typeing playing games there and pets

Me too. Half my lifetime ago, it was not uncommon for me to loose half a night or more on the old NES RPG games like that.

Most recently though, i have been known to get lost in Fallout 3 for more than 10 hours straight. Heh, but easily 12-15 hours overall, and i would take breaks from gaming to do housework and make meals and such.

That...sounds about right for me, too. I wonder why I have slight scoliosis, hmm.

-Senpai- 01-19-2017 12:28 PM

I played skyrim for 8 hours one time, I think I i broke my ps3 :O

Tiva 01-19-2017 05:10 PM

Probably close to 18 hours for me. It was more than one game but a series of search and find games that come out about twice a year. The rule is I can't buy the newest game until I do a complete play through of all of the old ones on hard mode, because it typically keeps me from buying it the day it comes out. But yeah…. about 18 hours before I fell asleep in front of my computer.

hyjin 01-19-2017 05:39 PM

I was gonna ask like total hours or straight hours. Straight hours I know like maybe 16 but that includes bio breaks and food breaks.

Isis 01-20-2017 04:03 PM

12 straight hours, then I realized how long I had been playing for and freaked out. My muscles were all stiff and painful too... never again.

PartySkeleton 01-20-2017 04:19 PM

Well, I would have to say that mine would be 12 hours straight on Final Fantasy XV

Lawtan 01-21-2017 10:29 AM

I think my max was 24 hours when I was 12...though I think that was more of a "left the game running while doing housework"...

Poggio 01-21-2017 02:04 PM

Hehe, I played ff10 for about 14 hours straight. My brother lost our ps2 memory card and I only had a finite time to borrow the game. So one weekend I sat in front of the tv and just played. I think I made it 90% of the way through the game before I died.

Neonriser 01-31-2017 09:38 PM

One time I played overwatch for so long as like 6 hours that I forgot to eat lunch. My mum gave me heck for that.

Death by Mirrors 02-01-2017 03:58 AM

I spent around 8 straight hours in a multi user dungeon once. Not sure if proud of my nerdiness or embarrassed that I have no life :f-eyebrowraise:

Coda 02-01-2017 11:35 AM

I'm pretty sure I've done 8 hours in a MUD before. I'm not sure I've ever super-binged like I have with other games, but I still have some maps lying around that I made of areas in CyberASSAULT. Never made maps for Dragon's Star or FieryMUD but I've certainly logged a ton of hours in those too.

Death by Mirrors 02-01-2017 05:25 PM

*high fives fellow MUD player*
You, sir, may very well be the remnant of a dying species. Even my friends don't know what I'm talking about when I mention those sweet little old-school lairs.

Coda 02-01-2017 05:54 PM

I've actually built my own MUD from scratch before -- a couple times, actually. I never fleshed the engine out into a full game because I never had a world idea to BUILD with it, but rooms and players and items all worked, and one of them had a start on a combat engine but I never got around to finishing it because I ended up transforming the system into a RP chatroom for my friends.

Quiet Man Cometh 02-02-2017 05:09 AM

Does it count if you leave the console running so you don't lose your score when you sleep and come back to it in the morning?

Is so, then 3 days.

That's how long it took my sister and I to see if Bust-a-Move would score over 100 or roll over. I think the final tally was 89- 103. I won.

Coda 02-02-2017 05:11 AM

I don't count that personally, no. You weren't playing it. Food breaks count only if you're eating while you play.

Panda 02-02-2017 05:45 AM

I did 12 hours and sometimes more.

Well, breaks to make the food and the occasional interruption from the parental units.

Coda 02-02-2017 11:43 AM

Sure, those kinds of interruptions don't count.

Espy 02-02-2017 01:08 PM

Usually my daily gaming streaks are somewhere between 7 to 14 hours. Really, really bad for my sleep schedule. Really, really bad for my grades. I know I've done over 18 before.

Starry Night 02-13-2017 10:16 PM

Probably around 6 hours. I would eventually get bored and do something else though...but the cycle continues the next day.

Potironette 02-24-2017 02:12 AM

If I start playing, then I probably play ~6/7 hours straight. Any more and I get nauseous, any less--well, I can't really stop ^^;;

nyreen 02-24-2017 01:01 PM

I'm going to say anywhere between 10 - 18 hours on Mass Effect. If I have the day off, no errands, no chores, no plans... I'll literally sit down and pump at least five hours into a game or multiple games. u vu

Saiyouri 02-26-2017 10:33 AM

I think once on FFXIV I went about 8 1/2 and didn't even realize it. Otherwise no idea. I tend to switch between about 3 MMOs and a card like game (mobius final fantasy) all day so all games together is about 12 or more hrs. Otherwise no idea on one game. I tend to not pay attention to that stuff. My fiance though went over 18hrs that I rememer once.

Starry Night 03-08-2017 11:46 PM

I just played 8 hours of Sims 4, so here's a new record. :D

mdom 03-08-2017 11:51 PM

When I was a kid, my sister and I had a N64, but we didn't have the memory thingie. So any game we had couldn't be saved. I was more like a viewer than a player xD but I remember renting (yeah, we only owned super mario lol) Goemon and watching my sister play it nonstop for like, 2 days, only pausing for biological needs |D Wild times.
